藝術家Karin van der Molen ，荷蘭 After receiving a university degree as a human rights lawyer, Karin van der Molen started to explore the arts. Painting at first was the way to research and express herself, but after moving to the countryside making art in nature became a strong challenge. Her artworks in nature are usually constructed with natural materials, and they express a sense of place. The often big or monumental objects give the opportunity to dwell in that place by referring to cultural and traditional conditions. Karin has created many site-specific installations in nature in the Netherlands as well as in other countries such as Japan, USA, France and Rumania. In 2009 she was selected as an artist in residence for I-Park, USA. She was also selected as an international artist for the 2007 Guandu International Outdoor Sculpture Festival in Taipei, Taiwan.
