
在海生館舉辦的海洋環境藝術創作中,由康雅筑所創作的生物之骸作品,也是利用海邊的垃圾,用生物的骨架來提醒亂丟塑膠袋等物品被海洋生物吞食後會造成的影響。

藝術家:康雅筑,台灣籍
康雅筑為「2009國際海洋環境裝置藝術邀請展」受邀藝術家。生於台灣台北,畢業於台灣大學,並於2006取得國立台南藝術大學應用藝術學碩士。他的作品從台灣遠至美國、加拿大、日本、德國、立陶宛、中國各地展出。並且於2009受邀至加拿大溫哥華進行駐地創作,系列作品將於2010年冬季奧運時展出。在她的作品中可以找到許多不同的媒材所變化出的風情萬種藝術作品。
Ya-chu Kang, born in Taipei, Taiwan, received a BFA degree in sculpture from National Taiwan University of the Arts in 2002 and a MFA degree in Applied Art from Tainan National University of the Arts in 2006. She has exhibited her work widely in Taiwan and also in the USA, Canada, Japan, Germany, Lithuania and China. In 2009 she was an artist in residence in Vancouver, Canada, and she will be exhibiting her work in a group show of Canadian and Taiwanese artists in Vancouver during the Vancouver Olympics in 2010. In 2008 Ya-chu Kang was awarded a residency in Japan at ARCUS through the Asian Cultural Council. In 2008 she also participated at International Artists Workshops in Jordan and in Bangladesh. In 2007 Kang received a fellowship for an artist in residency at Vermont Studio Center in the USA. Her works are sculptural installations created with a variety of materials.

藝術家:Jane Ingram Allen ,美國
艾婕音是來自於美國的藝術家、藝評家與策展人。2004年獲得福布萊特研究獎助金來台進行駐地創作,進而定居台灣。
Jane Ingram Allen is an American artist, critic and curator living in Taiwan since 2004 when she came here as a Fulbright Scholar artist in residence. She has curated exhibitions of international environmental art in Taiwan since 2006 and continues to present her own environmental art installations using handmade paper from local plants in Taiwan and other countries. She is interested in how artists can introduce new ideas and work with environmentalists and scientists to help raise public awareness of the important global environmental issues facing the world today.

藝術家:Thierry Godet,法國籍
Thierry Godet was born in France and now lives in Berlin, Germany. He worked as a designer in France, Switzerland and Sweden for 20 years making large signs for museums and public institutions and as a project designer in different countries for UNESCO. Thierry also was a professor of design and art for many years at a university in Berlin. He has been an independent environmental artist for the past ten years. He has participated in many exhibitions of outdoor art in Europe, including in France, Germany, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Thierry Godet was selected as an environmental artist in residence at I-Park, USA, in 2007, for Natuurkunst Drenthe in the Netherlands in 2005, and for Yatoo International Residency, South Korea in 2009.

This video of "Turning the Tide" exhibition shows the process and finished environmental sculptures of the three international artists: Ya-Chu Kang of Taiwan, Karin van der Molen of Netherlands and Thierry Godet of France. The video also shows the opening ceremony of the exhibition on December 4, 2009 and the public activities (DIY) on December 5 and 6, 2009.
