京都大学博物館公開講座 湯川秀樹・朝永振一郎生誕百年記念
1935年の湯川秀樹の中間子論に始まる '素' 粒子論は、40年後の基準理論の成立により最終的な解決をみた。その見事な解決には、坂田学派の複合模型と、量子電磁力学に対して展開された朝永振一郎のくりこみ理論が本質的な役割を果たした。この絶望的とも思えた困難な問題がたった40年で解決されたことは驚きである。その内容についての講演。
