Why is the show taking a hiatus/defunct?

Why stop this podcast? Is Kiplinger trying to become irrelevant or what? I’m a 10-plus year mag subscriber but this is my favored way of getting solid Kiplinger content. Reinstate immediately please. Love David M and Sandy B. What a horrible decision by exec mgmt. John

Episode 151 is way too woke. Who cares if the CFP board was founded by 13 men… in 1969? Not everything has to be broken down into identity groups. Would it be better if they hadn’t founded the group? Cut out the woke nonsense and just talk investing and finances.

Last episode interview was conducted from inside of a large aluminum can. Is this really a professional production?

Stick to providing financial advice and do not make any medical recommendations. Very concerning so many podcast hosts are making personal recommendations about health care with no expertise and narrow view. I’m unsubscribing from this podcast because the scope keeps venturing outside of personal finance.

Great advice and tips that I can actually use and understand! I feel like I can trust what I learn on this podcast, they do the research etc. for me, and that there are no ulterior motives -- like some other podcasts I won't mention by name. Sandy and David have a nice back and forth. This is in my regular podcast rotation.

I listened to entire show with an open mind and wanted to see if your show can be trusted. You failed to mention the high fees associated with Annuities and it is a significant concern that any potential investor should evaluate. Very disappointed

David does a great job guiding listeners through complicated material and anticipating questions that the listeners have. He and Sandy have a nice rapport. I have learned a lot and appreciate topical financial information being explained well. I regularly recommend to others.

Great podcast with investing tips that people don’t normally think about. My only recommendation is to make Sandy the lead of the podcast - it seems like she has a lot more knowledge and deserves the top slot.

Today you mentioned how service members might be vulnerable to predatory lending because they are fresh out of high school......what about the people the graduate from college with six figure debt? You made it sound like folks entering the military are dumb.

I always learn something new listening to this show. It’s very down to earth advice and you don’t have to be a millionaire to benefit.

This podcast is in my top 5, maybe top 3. Fantastic format. Very polished and professional. A highlight of my day each Monday when a new episode comes out.

Episode 54:As a first time listener I was SHOCKED that, not once, but TWICE Ryan jokes about having porch pirates SHOT. Really????? You think a person deserves to be shot for stealing a material item???? YOU are adding to this horrific gun violence problem in this country by flippantly referring to human life as less valuable than your Amazon package. SHAME ON YOU.

I had much hopes for this podcast, being a subscriber of the Kiplinger magazine and noting how useful and practical that magazine is to me. I have to say however that I am disappointed with this podcast for several reasons. For one, topics such as best the ways to gamble and place your bets seems totally counter to the topics of WISE money management, which ironically is the purposes. I am TOO aware of the problems that gambling have on our society. Other topics I am troubled are ones having to do with investments in the cannabis and other vice industries. Knowing the troubles that we have with the opioids crises and other substance abuses, should we really be pushing investments into an industry that will also add much maladies?

The "coffee talk" chatter that bookends each show is annoying. I'd rather just get right to the main story.

What a bandwagon interview. No push back no hard questions. At least asks what happens if the market declines 20%. Whenever that happens how will they adjust. These fire people have never been around for a market decline.

Good topics but the delivery needs to improve. Ryan’s approach might relate for a millennial but anyone over 40 is likely to be annoyed by him. Plus I’m not sure I’d consider anyone who needed his parents to co-sign on a student loan consolidation as a financial expert. I also had to laugh at Sandy’s comment on episode 41: “We normally tell people to not buy when the price has gone up and to wait for it to come down”. Really? So....buy low and sell high! Great advice.

This is the first investing podcast I listed to and it opened up a new world for me and I am getting into it slowly. Well planned informative podcast covering up all topics, I listed to other investing podcast and I liked this better because of diversity in topics, other podcasts were all very much focused on markets. Good one to listen to and I always listen it on Monday and wait for the next ones. I also subscribed to their magazine and news letters as well.

Excellent podcast that is well-worth your time.

The holiday tipping episode was particularly useful. Sandy and Ryan are a great team.

When discussing hotel fees, guy mentioned a couple dishonest ways to avoid fees (move hotel date, hotel bar). However, some pretty good info in this pod. Will keep listening.

Finally a financial podcast worth listening to. The topics and level of detail have been spot on and interesting during the first 4 episodes.

Great podcast to listen to, offers so much helpful financial advice. Ryan and Sandy are perfect hosts for this — they’re so in sync with each other, which makes it more enjoyable

Offers plenty of wisdom we all should know and employ.

Money is a tough issue but this makes it something good for all of us. Looking forward to more episodes!
