I love this podcast, especially the Amanda Knox live show and recent interview with comedian Moshe Kasher (but, like, how could he not love cannoli??) Your Last Meal asks zeigeisty celebs what their last meal would be, then journalistically explores historical, scientific, or cultural aspects of the food and interviews experts related to the food. Rachel is hilarious and thoughtful.

Nice to listen to while relaxing interesting back stories

I was running while listening and started singing baby back baby back rib jingle and when he gave a silent awkward pause it said so much, so glad you added commentary so I knew it wasn’t just me. The whole show was bad vibe almost felt like he didn’t want to be there. Or he wanted to control the segment with out giving chance to talk with you. I always love the back and forth with your guest but the whole episode left me on edge. It was you!!!

Love the show, and I learn so much about different foods and restaurants etc. Hated the poutine episode, David Cross is a real jackass!

It’s fun, informative, upbeat and whimsical. Love the show.

Rachel Belle is a gem who gets us. I love the guests and humor—but my favorite part is the deep dives into the history of the food mentioned by the guest. Always entertaining, and I’ve expanded my own palette because of this show.

So much more than an interview show. Rachel adds research and storytelling. It's such a great questions to ask people and the conversations are fantastic. My last meal would be my Great Aunt Annie's eggplant parmesean sandwiches but I'd have to resurrect her from the dead and have her make them for me.

I found Your Last Meal during Covid lockdowns and quickly listened to every episode. Rachel is funny, engaging, enthusiastic, and you can tell she truly loves what she is doing. Every episode has someone/something different and interesting, so you can never be bored. Highly recommend!

Your Last Meal and Rachel Bell is one of my favorite podcasts. Rachel is funny, asks interesting engaging questions and really brings out a side of the guests you can’t get anywhere else. Not only does the show explore origins of food but also how meaningful it is in our lives beyond sustenance. Rachel makes you feel like you’re listening to a best friend.

Since this show started it’s been my go to podcast. The length of the shows and information flow makes it super easy to follow along and learn something new. The history about the food origin has been really helpful for trivia nights out! Your Last Meal is always on my recommendation list to people needing a new podcast. Seriously fun to listen while cooking something talked about on the show as well.

Rachel Belle? What can I say? I’m getting vaklempt- talk amongst yourselves. Only that her episodes are the highlight of my week! I belly laugh at least once ever episode. Rachel is so entertaining and funny, she’s also a foodie who loves finding out why people love their favorite foods. Laughable, lovable, interesting and always entertaining. If that sounds like your cup of tea-then give it a listen- you won’t regret it!

You know how people have a favorite TV series they watch over and over? (Like Friends or The Office) that is me with this podcast. If a new episode drops, I will stop whatever I’m listening to, and listen to this show. I’ve re listened many times. It’s like my favorite hoodie. 😂 I’ve enjoyed Rachel Belle for years on KIRO and this podcast is the best, it’s lighthearted and fun.

I have enjoyed Rachel Belle’s segments on the radio for years. I am embarrassed to say that I have only just started listening to Your Last Meal. I’ve been streaming audiobooks for over a decade and I’ve only just dipped into the podcast marketplace. Your Last Meal is my first podcast and I am an instant fan. The interviews are fantastic and the follow up is always enlightening. I love the historical elements. I am excited to have such a backlog of wonderful content! Better late than never!

I know Rachel Belle from her KIRO radio show so thought I’d give this a try. She is not only engagingly funny and enlightening but she also leaves me wanting more of her show. I am a die hard food network junkie but would hands down choose a “your last meal episode “ any day over a Bobby Flay or Obsessed episode ( though, those are pretty good as well) Rachel brings not only culinary knowledge but you can feel her passion for her work and her love for everything food related. Oh and don’t forget she’s a cat mommy to Poppy to boot! A must listen if you enjoy humor, food and food history. ThanksMiss Rachel for bringing joy to this ladies life.

It’s a fascinating format to learn something new and unexpected about famous folks - their culture, family history, quirks, interesting anecdotes - under the universally unifying discussion about food. The host, Rachel Belle, is a pure delight and shows true curiosity in her interviews. I love the extra effort she puts into the history segments that she weaves through to teach the listeners more about the celebrity’s chosen Last Meal. It’s like a podcast within a podcast! A podcast molten lava cake, if you will. As an avid podcast listener, Your Last Meal is consistently one of my top go-tos. I bet it will be one of yours too.

Love listening to this show - Rachel is so funny! I always hear something about the celeb that I’ve never heard before, which is super fun. Plus so many nuggets of little known food facts!

I look forward to my commute because Rachel keeps me company! It’s such a treat to listen. Funny, witty, positive and delightful. Even guests I am not particularly interested in hearing are great episodes! Rachel brings out the best in her guests.

So I don’t think it’s beneficial to bash a show based on a guest that obviously couldn’t be controlled. The show is smart, informative and entertaining. If you love the world of food and beverage mixed with history and science then this is your Show.

Super funny show! I use to live in Vancouver, BC and we had those bars all the time. It doesn't come from the island of Nanaimo but may be from the city of Nanaimo. I found Rachel on KIRO, but I would follow her on all of her endeavors! It’s like listening to a friend. She is funny, relatable, kind, and you can listen to her shows with the kids in the car.

I started listening at the beginning of the pandemic, and I just hit episode 100! I couldn’t love this podcast anymore. I learn about food and people from all over the world. Rachel is a hoot and I love the music.

Been following Rachel for years and turned so many on to this podcast. My guilty pleasure when traveling is to download all the ones I have not heard and listen them in plane or in car. Such fun interviews and always fin something I must try, ok perhaps not the jello salads lol!

I learned so much about my own roots & had no idea about Bob Marley & the whole Rastafarian life style! Such a nostalgic episode ….. with growing up in CT (our house was NOT toddler proof) flying out of NYC to Puerto Rico & then to St Thomas ….. everyone clapping when we landed (short runway) & then going to Broadway in NYC …. Just a big red bow episode for me thank you Rachel Belle!!!
