These dudes don’t even let anyone speak, and they’re not funny. Just like listening to an incoherent rambling conversation between two people who think they’re funny but aren’t. Can’t believe you wasted like an hour and a half of Tim Robinson comedic genius with your tone deaf garbage. Ooooof

Listening to the latest episode, also the first episode I’ve ever listened to of this podcast, and Jesus Christ the one guy keeps saying “and uh” every other word. Makes it almost unbearable to listen to. Do we not know any other words to say or is it just a bad habit?? Either way it’s annoying lol I’d rather hear someone say “like” all the time instead of “and uh”. Just makes them sound very unintelligent…or maybe they’re just uh high. Ha.

This podcast is a weird one. One of the hosts, Jack Wagner, seems to do all the work in actually making the show listenable. When Jack does the work to put together an episode about a particular issue, they can be very funny and compelling. The other host, Brandon Wardell, is a really insufferable comedian whose bits seem to mainly consist of putting on a "mentally challenged" voice and talking in baby voice to convey that something is dumb, or talking in a Blaccent. He also has a weird habit of only plugging his own tour dates at the end of shows, which is where other podcasts would let their guests do plugs. He seems very concerned with his image and coming across as attractive, despite regularly repeating that he only lost his virginity in his 20's. These guys are the definitive example of the Podcast Patreon bubble, each collecting $11,000 per month from their fans pockets. If you can get past Wardell's ego, it's worth a listen, but I wouldn't contribute to their patreon, considering they are both LA entertainment business strivers who realized that Patreon was an easier paycheck.

I LOVE yeah but still, big fan of Jack and Brandon’s choice of guests, and the interviews are incredible. It’s really helped to make the start of most weeks great, however the most recent episode with Dougpound and Brent Weinbach really crossed a line- super disappointing to hear two guys you really respect tolerate that kind of humor and not cut it off- had to turn it off.

I really want YBS to get to the level of other huge comedy podcasts and it kills me that they don’t have the hype they deserve, this podcast genuinely keeps me alive and jack is simply my favorite person🥺❤️

Jack and Brandon’s sense of humor is something that’s always lived in my head and been my style but never felt landed. I’m normal-pilling like Brandon lately. I love the non-ironic and genuine takes on culture while still having fun with it; and Jack is basically my personality at work. It’s been a fun ride coming from a Day 1. Back in the days of talking about Papa Wardell’s Versace Pythons.

Quality of the show has really gone down the toilet over the last year or so.

Oof. HOW DOES THIS SHOW HAVE SUCH GOOD RATINGS? I’m a fan of Tim Robinson so I listened to Ep. 132. I’m new to this podcast, but I but I have to say..it was BRUTAL. The two hosts could not stop rambling about the first thing that popped into their heads, never bothered to ask Tim ANYTHING— he barley got a word in, nor did they ask him questions about his career. Wagner and Wardell simply don’t know how to host a show and prep for a guest, let alone organize their thoughts properly. Shame on them for wasting Robinsons’ time. Their obliviousness is so cringe.

I’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning, and it’s got my favorite takes on culture, comedy and politics from the 90’s to present with top tier guests. The discussion always comes back to j/o, but often in a poignant and nostalgic subtext that belies the sophomoric nature of the subject. A true sign of higher thinking

The chemistry between Jack and Brandon is perfectly balanced. I love when Jack does his thing with investigative episodes and I love when Brandon talks about his feet. They make me laugh so hard and they always have awesome guests. Listening to this podcast is the only way I stay relevant in Ohio.

I recently discovered the podcast when they had AJ/meadow soprano on. I scrolled through past episodes and recognized a lot of names. Such as Keith Buckley , sugar ray, and have heart. The hosts are funny too. I’m prob gonna sign up for their patreon too.
