I loved their detailed review of the Potter verse and I am looking forward to discovering new fantasy stories with them. Love the show! Bayana and Robyn do an amazing job going through each chapter of the HP series. I love the conversations this dynamic duo has. I enjoy how they dive deep into characterization and in the plot. Excellent show for those who love Harry Potter and black representation.

Just now starting to listen to this podcast (recommended by many other Harry Potter pods) and really liking it but now they are retiring it. I’m only on episode 7 but it is a great perspective on the books and started in 2015 before the horrible JKR anti-trans posts.

After listening to another very popular Harry Potter podcast, I started the #WizardTeam and have been purely delighted by Robyn and Bayana. They bring a fresh perspective to the stories that’s both entertaining and thought-provoking. Thankfully I am only on their book 2 series so I’m excited to have tons of content left to listen to.

Only in the mid-fifties episodes (longtime listener but I’m always slow to catch up) and have thoroughly enjoyed each one of them so far. Thoughtful and funny analysis that feels like such a treat every time. Wonderful hosts. Thanks for your great work!

since discovering this community (of Black Girls Create), it’s become the gift that keeps on giving. listening to them take a deep, intellectual dive into the beloved Wizarding World makes me happy. their critical thinking infused with humor makes the podcast easy to follow and engage in. i could go on and on about how great the episodes are!

Since finding this podcast, I’ve listened to about 6 episodes. I love you guys!! Some stuff I never thought of, but mostly I find myself saying back to you “I know, right?!” About 20 times each episode. Can’t wait for the new show!!! 💕💕

I stumbled upon this podcast by accident and have been binging it for the past 2 days nonstop. The first episode I happened to hear was about the Death Eaters returning when Voldemort summons them in Goblet of Fire. I nearly got into a car accident I was laughing so hard.

If Hermione and Luna Lovegood listened to podcasts, this is the one they would create! It's brilliant, hilarious, and a much needed and appreciated voice that only these two can!

I only just a couple of months ago began listening to this podcast and I fell in love with it immediately. I love the style the hosts use for their chapter reads (or at least the style they’re using in the earlier episodes because, unfortunately, I haven’t listened to the most recent). It’s easy to follow and really makes sure that nothing in a chapter is missed. Additionally, the hosts themselves are funny and honest and just seem like generally amazing people. I love how #WizardTeam gives Black people and other people of color a place in the HP series. Overall, I can’t wait to keep listening to this podcast!

Smart, funny, unabashedly nerdy Harry Potter love from a perspective far too often ignored. My favorite Potter podcast, 100%.

I can’t get enough of this podcast. It is equal parts hilarious and insightful. I think Miranda Bailey Pomfrey and Hédwig Knowles Carter are my favourite head cannons now. I find myself relating to both Robyn and Bayana constantly in the things they discuss. 😂😂 This podcast has also got me racially diversifying my head cannon. I was raised to be colourblind and have been working to break away from that for the past few years now. One thing Robyn and Bayana helped me realise is that when a character’s race isn’t specified, my imagination defaults to white.

I’ve been looking for podcasts by people of color for awhile and I ended up listening to some Harry Potter podcasts and that’s how I found them! They’re so fun to listen to and they have such funny new perspectives to add to this magical world. I also really like the MVP/Bench idea they incorporate to the end of each episode.

I found #WizardTeam while listening to Potterless. Bayana and Robyn's episodes were hands-down the absolute best. It made me think about the different aspects of social awareness in Harry Potter beyond just the Pure Blood vs. Muggle-Borns/Half-Bloods/Muggles. They are such a great team, thank you both for being you!

The content is good but the production quality is poor. It’s hard to listen to because some of the talk is loud but the next sentence is so soft that I have to keep adjusting the volume.

I love this podcast! It’s so refreshing to have Black Potterheads that I can nerd out with. The tangents are great, honestly some of my favorite things have come from the tangents. It’s so much fun to just listen to these two talk for hours about my favorite thing.

I love this podcast. I love the detail and the shade and the salt and the praise about this series. Because THIS IS A SCHOOL and some ridiculous stuff happens on the amazing journey of Harry Potter! Not to mention the deep dives into certain topics like house elf slavery. Worth the listen! 👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️

I really enjoy the Harry Potter universe and the podcast theme of delving deeper into the characters, plot details and interesting points of each book. I also love hearing the perspectives of younger black women like myself. To critique, I would say that many times the banter comes across as distracting so one possible solution might be to edit the show further for a more focused experience for listeners. There are also times when one person seems to talk over the other. Please try to be mindful that listeners want to hear the full spectrum of ideas, thoughts and opinions so each person deserves their chance to speak. Also, the “Harry is not a Ravenclaw” jokes and the comments about how Harry is not intelligent/doesn’t think well can come across as grating. It could be that this is a running joke for the show, but it bears mentioning that many readers love the main character, Harry, and don’t necessarily find these type of comments enjoyable. Personally, I don’t find it offensive, but I do consider it an nuisance in an otherwise very interesting show. Keep up the good work and thank you for your contributions to the HP fandom!
