A great listen
I really enjoy the show, can do without the “back of the book” part. Would love a little bit more on O365 and Microsoft 365.

Want to like it but can’t
Paul Thurrott has credibility but this podcast is far too long and rambling. It’s 2 hours but can be cut to one without much loss. Paul also seems to focus on the individual use of Windows without giving much consideration as to why Microsoft is doing things for the enterprise. Get an editor and tighten up the topics and it will be better.

Can’t get in a word
I mean if Paul can’t finish his statement/argument before Leo interrupts, it’s the Leo show. It’s like watching a debate on MSNBC. The guests or “co hosts” can’t finish what they are saying because Leo can’t allow a difference in opinion on his show. It’s so cringe. Poor Richard is just sitting in the back not saying a word as to not waste a breath to try. Wow Leo has really spiraled down. This used to be my favorite show in the network due to Paul’s whit and incites as well as the back and forth that Leo usually allowed. But if Paul can’t even talk, what’s the point. I’m done with TWiT. I will look forward to any other show that Paul T jumps on to get those long form insights. RunAs Radio is now my go to for Microsoft. Just wow, I’m so disappointed.

A good ride
It was a good ride but it’s just not the same show without Mary Jo.

Focus has changed without Mary Jo
Since bringing Richard in as the new co-host, the show spends more time on developer topics or the inside workings of Windows. I miss the 365 or enterprise topics they used to discuss. Still a worthy listen for IT but less applicable information than there used to be.

Hard No! to Richard Campbell
We’re witnessing the death of once great podcast and really, I think, of a podcast network. Welcome to old guys talking about random stuff. The worst possible choice to replace Mary Jo. This podcast was already pretty much unlistenable without Mary Jo Foley. Now it has tipped the scales entirely. Every show on Twit has become nothing but inside baseball. I don’t think they care about being interesting or on topic anymore.

Great pace and hosts usually
Love the usual cast but guests like on the recent July episode are very wishy-washy and spend 5x the time needed to explain a point.

Great podcast on Microsoft & Windows
This show is hosted by 2 of the most knowledgeable Microsoft journalists and one of the most seasoned tech podcasters in the world. I look forward to it every week.

The toaster Works
I listen to this podcast for a very long time. So far it’s the best out there regarding windows. Thanks to Leo, Paul, and Mary-Jo.

Fun and educational
Paul and Mary Jo are so knowledgeable in the Microsoft world and their insights are so good. I’ve listened for years now and I’m always learning something useful personally and/or professionally.

Depressing Weekly
Like others have said, this show is really depressing. Leo barely pays attention, Paul rants, and Mary Jo nods. It wears. There’s not a better over-arching Microsoft podcast out there, which is also quite sad. I’ve listened for years because there’s content in the middle of all the negativity, but it’s time to move on and get my MS content elsewhere. You really have to be a masochist to stay subscribed and listening.

A Review of "Windows Weekly"
I had found certain parts of what I had believed to had been certain installments of this "Windows Weekly" to had been vulgar, negative, unnecessary, unprofessional, and detrimetal.

Needs better editing
Need to edit out the constant talking over one another and awkward sighing and uninteresting off-topic tangents. A lot of the topics can be really good but there's a lot of bad stuff you have to wade through to get there.

Very knowledgeable and pleasant to listen to. I have enjoyed these folks for many years.

Most depressing show on TWIT
Every topic is created by a sigh, a complaint or an excuse about why the Windows / Microsoft world is this terrible. I can’t believe you’ve had the careers that you have, feeling so dispassionate. I don’t think we are looking for journalists to be cheerleaders, but this show is simply depressing. I wanted to broaden my knowledge of the Windows world for work but can’t do it. I’m out. I wish you happier lives.

Listening is a highlight of my week
Excellent balance covering a wide range of Microsoft topics. Mary Jo and Paul are knowledgeable and personable. I usually learn useful information and tips each show.

Great show for bedtime listening!
This is a show like none other. Most of the show is made up of ASMR-style sighing and awkward, drawn-out pauses. Mary Jo’s “yep”s throughout the show are her primary contribution to the conversation, and slowly lulls you to sleep. Paul’s knowledge is evident but his highly dispassionate style and constant sighing shows he’s incredibly bored (or maybe frustrated) by Microsoft. Leo Laporte seems equally bored and drones quietly into the mic. The whole thing has me snoozing in no time. In all seriousness, all of the above is absolutely true. Why do these hosts seem so annoyed by the subject they’re covering? If these people want an example of a good tech show they should listen to any Jupiter Broadcasting Linux show. At least they sound interested in what they’re saying.

Takes them two hours of idiotic chit-chat to deliver 15 minute if real info
Great idea for podcast, but it's an unbearalbe waste of time, because--really--it's like an hour-and-a-half to say what they could just say in 20-30 mintues. Sorry--why don't you just cut out all the idiotic chit-chat?

Leo should give up on being host
Overall the podcast is informative, but should probably be around half an hour with an option to run longer of many things are happening. Way too many / too long ads, but that is not unique to this podcast. Most importantly Leo often seems distracted or checked out. It would probably be better if he replaced himself with one of the temporary hosts while traveling.

Need a new host
Paul is like a black hole of negativity. All he does is complain…about everything. He loathes Apple to his core so if that subject comes up that is what you get. Marry Jo needs to distance herself from both Paul and Leo who is just a mess. This pod cast is about Windows 10 beta builds and negativity. Leo hates Windows but I guess this pod cast brings him some $$$…maybe??? Would I recomend this to a friend…NO WAY.

My Favortie Podcast
Windows Weekly is one of my podcasts. I have listened to it for over a decade and found the information useful to my job as an IT manager of Microsoft technologies. I learn something new in every podcast from Leo, Paul, and Mary Jo. I highly recommend the podcast for anyone that wants to know the latest about Microsoft.
One of my favorite podcast
Still great
Have listened to this show off and on for years. Mary Jo and Paul are always well informed. Also they’re just fun to listen to.

Current Windows updates
I am a Mac user primarily in most of my work, but I do have a Surface Pro and run Windows in a Parallels VM on my MacBook Pro. I have read and enjoyed Mary Jo and Paul for 20 years. They are a calming force in the technology world which is chaotic at times. I look forward to the beer picks of the week as well.

Mikah, Paul and Mary Jo shows are...
...excellent. I love the vibe of their shows; they don’t give me the “where’s Leo?” feeling I usually get with the guest host shows. I hope to hear a lot more of this truly magical team, perhaps as a spin-off after Leo returns.

Mikah Sargent is Ruining This Show
I really have enjoyed listening to this show to hear Mary Jo and Paul’s perspectives on what’s going on with Microsoft and the Windows platform. While it’s good to get an outsider’s perspective (I think Leo plays a solid outsider/devil’s advocate part), Mikah brings a level of ignorance to the show that grinds the entire show to a halt. I’ve given it two chances now and each show he has been the host, he’s ruined the show. He’s clueless and unprepared about the entire subject matter.

The Good, Marginal, Bad
I’m largely a Mac “snob” and prefer not to run Windows; however, I do listen to Windows Weekly because I enjoy a) keeping up to date on the goings-on in the Windows part of the word, and b) I find this to be one of the superb podcasts on the ‘net. The Good: + I enjoy Leo, Paul, and MJF. I love the depth and breadth of content they cover, and it make the miles of driving tick by so much faster. The Marginal: + The show has a tendency to get “into the weeds” at times, losing focus on what the topic of the show was supposed to be about. 95% of the time, it works, and is entertaining; however, that 5% of the time, especially when Leo is out, gets old…fast. The Bad: + Leo goes on vacation, the show loses the magic.

Favorite tech podcast
I love this podcast (along with This Week in Tech and Macbreak Weekly). Entertaining and also keeps me up to date on the Microsoft-related news that I’ve missed.

Out of Touch host’s
Listening to this podcast is like listening to your grandma talk to her bridge club about what the young people are into these days. Especially when they talk about gaming.

Favorite Podcast of all
Listening to each episode since the podcast started. Great for my IT profession and my inner geekness hobby self.

Stay up to date with what Microsoft is up to.
Informative and funny. The content will vary depending on what's happening at Microsoft. Mary Jo and Paul are Microsoft fans but won't hesitate to call them out when Microsoft fumbles the ball.

Insufferable
MJ Foley is just uninformed, uninteresting, and insufferable.

Don’t like
Why do they sound like they have peanut butter in there mouth all the time

Not a Mac show
Paul and Mary Jo do a good job of bringing us Microsoft Windows news. Leo always turns in a dushbag and chimes in about apple or linux...

So dry...
I thought I loved everything TWiT... until I subscribed and listened to Windows Weekly. It's just plain boring... I'm out.

Used to like it
Paul and Mary Jo are great. The main problem with this show is Leo. He will either derail it completly or just straight up not pay attention. I would consider coming back to this show if Leo left.

Too bored
Too long and boring no tech talk

Entertaining and educational
I wish there was more enterprise stuff. Paul and Leo should jump in and help Mary Jo on this. Other than that, it is an awesome show, I subscribe it since the beginning some 10 years ago.

Good view on ms
Good speakers and information on the world of Microsoft. Alway something enjoyable.

Too long,
This program seems to have lost it's way. Way too long; lots of TWITty distractions; beer recommendations; gossip which may or may not be true; and overlong always best thing since sliced bread ads. The program is mainly gossip about the latest Microsoft missteps--Foley does on occasion offer good enterprise info. Not particularly useful for users. Can get more by scanning the various Microsoft oriented tech sites for 15 minutes.

Terrible hosts
The lady host doesn't use computers or tablets or phones. She tells you over and over all she uses is Notepad and drinks beer. Ask her about phones she knows nothing, talk about Xbox and she complains, talk about using a touch screen and she complains. What a bore. The male host is very dumb. I wonder if Paul even has a GED. He gives the most idiotic uninformed opinions. He constantly cheer leads dumb things at Microsoft then a year later when they fail he pretends like he was always against it. Paul is absolutely obnoxious and doesn't realize how old and out of touch his opinions are. He must think his listeners are very dumb and don't remember how much he loved and praised Windows 8 and Vista. The show is a waste of time for everyone.

The absolute best podcast for Microsoft news
I have listened to this podcast every week for several years now, and I am continually impressed by the knowledge, analysis, and insight that Paul and Mary Jo share on the show. These two are THE experts in all things Microsoft. Leo is the host and often the devil's advocate. I recommend this show to anyone who is interested in Microsoft. The conversation may get more complex than you may want, but Paul and Mary Jo can make even the most complex topics accessible to non-tech people.

Suffers From TWiT
It’s obvious that both Paul and Mary Jo work hard to bring quality content to listeners of the show. Leo however has only become a distraction for the show. He adds a bit of witty banter, but that’s about it anymore. It’s clear he does not even listen to what they say, often bringing up a topic right as it is just finished being discussed. Sadly Leo no longer has the passion for his job that he once had and it shows throughout the network. “What the Tech” is a great alternative featuring Paul. Unfortunately Mary Jo is not a regular on it. If she were, there would be no reason to listen to Windows Weekly at all anymore.

If you have to keep up with Microsoft...
I'm not the biggest fan of Microsoft, but I want to keep up on them as they're still a giant segment of consumer technology. Leo, Mary Jo, and Paul make Microsoft news interesting! Paul's commentary in particular is very genuine; he's no fanboy, he's harder on MS than anyone.
lyonsinbeta
Good technical content, but
This episode provided good technical content, but I tire of Leo's political drival. Paul, especially, and Leo went off on Carly Fiorina and Sarah Palin. Whatever your political views or personal opinions of someone, what does character assasination have to do with Windows, MS, etc?
