I'm sure it's great
Hello I am in the intern program at WIHTA and it's horrific besides the frequent cannings by Garrett, Tim’s shenanigans with tooth floss, and Gino's Satanic rituals. I have some fun playing football with Tom B. Rady and exploding homeless people. I have never listened as it is prohibited in my contact and Lucy who listened to one went on assignment to the Dutch and has never returned. However I am required to rate 5 stars.

It’s POO MA
I can’t believe Tom let Gerald pronounce Puma pugh-ma. You were wrong about 100 Gecs, and you’re wrong about the phonetics of American big cats. Here’s your 5 star review, now do Lupe Fiasco’s Lasers you cowards. Also that new Gecs is out. You guys were my top podcast, that was my top album. Crossover episode coming (pronounced combing for Gary)

Bands/Artists v. Eardrums
Justices Clarence Timas and Amy Coney Garrett consistently render brilliant judgements upon heinous musical recordings released for public consumption. Their in-depth analyses and opinions - both concurring and dissenting - are combined with barely-relevant tangents to provide the podcast listener with the funniest, most entertaining content in the whole wide world.

I hate that I love this podcast
...especially when it's about an album or artist I love. (boarding house reach was my first introduction) It's fun and ridiculous, not mean or snarky.

Good for it’s humor
Not a podcast meant to be taken seriously. Just two white guys dramatically hating on all kinds of music just to make people laugh, I’m guessing. There’s no real insightful critiquing going on, but I feel like that’s on purpose, so it’s not a podcast worth hating on. These guys know they aren’t actual critics, and they don’t pretend to have important or meaningful feedback to give. It’s just for the laughs. So all the haters, calm down.

My sweet beautiful boys
I realized I have a story for you. Sometimes when the sun is setting and my dog is running around the back yard, I think back to whenever i was in high school. I somehow find myself back at wing night at a local bowling alley where the wings were full, and the flavors were delicious. They ran all you can eat specials on Wednesday and Thursday. We went every week my senior year, sometimes both nights in a week. The soda they had was always bad, so we would just bring a 2 liter and watch bowling leagues go at it. Some were competitive, and some were just there to get out of the house. There was no better feeling then diving into your first wing (probably spicy garlic) as you heard the pins start to fall. When you looked over, it was a strike. Maybe they were having a bad week, but bowling a strike would bring tears to their eyes. If you timed it right, you'd finish your last wing, a honey bbq, as the leagues were departing. And just like they had a tear during their strike, you could leave with a tear running down your cheek after another successful wing night.

Morality Laundering??
Pretty sure these podcasty buffoons are real life criminals somehow...Tim probably makes black market bio-w€ap0ns and Garret "Care-bear" Hardy sells them like Nicholas Cagealicious in Lord of War. And this podcast is just an alibi for them, or a place where they escape guilt by pretending to just be a couple of one-two easygoing pals sharing some hatred over a cold one. Anyways, love the show, keep it up even if it means having the blood of millions upon your filthy new yorkian hands. All hail the LaCostie, Lord of Ashes upon his skull pyramid, may his reign of chaos never end!

Father of the Tim
Hey guys. Long time listener first time caller. So listen, not to brag or anything…but im in the 10,000 minutes club of listeners. Its ok, you dont need to thank me. Sometimes i will enter the numbers 1 -168 in googles random number generator and listen to the corresponding episode. Because of this, the gags and jokes and general shenanigans seem to kind of run together, im sure you understand. So the other day i was listening to an episode where Garret made a joke about walking Tim down the aisle if he ever does indeed get married. I don’t remember what episode it was on. Maybe last weeks, Maybe the first one, who knows? Now this gave me 2 ideas. One you guys make a remake of Father of the Bride calling it Father of the Tim. Two, you make a Netflix style comedy where Garret will offer his services to walk a bride, or groom down the aisle at their wedding. Starting a business like Jlo in the wedding planner. You can call it The Wedding Giver. The wedding walker? The wedding Daddy? I have other ideas for how you guys could make money… but ya know… its just a bunch of gay jokes… sorry guys. It was a pandora’s box of homoerotic madness that was opened, and i cant imagine it will ever get shut. Keep up the good work. Matt from Minneapolis. P.s Tim, what size feety pajamas do you wear?

Love everything about this show except the improv, the cowboy talk, the high school poetry, the IUC, and I’m almost certain this is just one guy using 2 voices poorly. Other than that. Everything else is great.

Making bathroom time less awful
Hello all. For a bit of history, I usually just listen to podcasts to fill up my empty bathroom time. So I started this one back at their first episode and finished it in several seven to ten minute increments and thoroughly enjoyed it. So I continued pushing through. Fantastic stuff. Real quality stuff to jazz up my usually boring bathroom down time. Even enjoyed when the subjects were albums I wasn’t familiar with or in the rare cases that I actually still enjoy the album or song to this day. My only problem was that I couldn’t really fit a whole episode into my bathroom time. I know, easy fix. Just listen to it outside of bathroom. Thankfully, after contracting severe IBS, all my problems have been solved. Really knocking these episodes out. Keep ‘em coming, gents. Really great podcast.

Will make your family start blocking your number
Dear Timothy Chalamet and Garry Bussey, I am writing a second review to to thank you for creating such an incomprehensible and offputting podcast. I thought I wasn't the only one who found this funny until some family that was staying over for the holidays asked what I was listening to on my headphones constantly. I decided it might be fun to listen to an episode with them. I was wrong. All of a sudden my sister has an emergency and has to pack up and leave the next day, and no one else will talk to me. The looks on their stone faces as Tim said the words "throat berries" and Garret recited TLC lyrics (in retrospect wrong episode to pick), whilst I was stifling laughter... it was painful to say the least. So I would like to say a sincerest thank you for ruining all my family relationships and making my parents even happier that I moved away than theyve ever been! If you too want to make your friends and family regret ever knowing and trusting you, I suggest trying episodes #162 #148 #149 #140, and really any episode.

This podcast is better than this review.
This podcast is to your ears what anal beads are to your butt. Once it’s in there. You don’t want to take it out. Yet, you have to take it out because you will eventually become backed up with crap and that’s a hazard to your health. However, once it’s out then you immediately notice the stench of what you’ve just done. It didn’t smell before so you just put it back in. Which is what you wanted all along. I hope this was helpful.

Preparation for a Great Conflagration
Today I was introduced to Save Yourself, written by the late Gareth Barvey and released posthumously in 2022. This is an enchanting song - I plan to listen to it in perpetuity in preparation for the coming Ekpyrosis, as next year it is to be a Great Year. As I am engulfed in the cleansing fires of the cosmos, my ears will be soothed by Stabbing Westward. Through palingenesis, this song will provide comfort until I am returned to my rightful seat.

Thanks to them I can never listen to JDevil ever again and I’m happy about that. We do need more flemskatting in the world though. I listen on Spotify but finally brought myself over here to give a review love the work keep it up! P.S Tim is a sucker

That’s humor, y’all
I’m always looking forward to an episode from these guys, whether they have something to say about the actual music itself, or just use it as an excuse to ramble about any of the following: Cowboy cults Candle-based serial killers World domination The ethics of the supernatural Rigid airships Garrett’s mysterious job Whatever other nonsense comes to mind Garrett’s no-nonsense bluntness combined with Tim’s all-nonsense looseness create some of the funniest improvised conversations in the history of podcasting. Gino’s editing work creates the best comedic timing this side of UCB, and whatever Brad does, he does it really well. Of course, he can’t quite do what he used to, but that’s not a problem with me because I’m not quite sure what that was either And don’t get me started on Tom. Few people are as suspiciously similar to famous NFL stars as Thomas B. Rady.

Ladies…
Find a man to look at you the way Tim looks at Garrett. (Yes, I found the feed.) I’m only listening until they finally review Throwing Copper (y’all talk a good game, cowmen), but if the homeless drugs fundraiser gets off the ground, I want to auction off Corey Feldman to the remaining members of TLC. I tried to make my friend Tanner listen, but the Mormons still have a pretty tight hold on his media consumption, or maybe Elon Musk does (unless they’re in it together). Hey, do Mormons get rumspringa? How come the Amish get all the good PR? Tim, some of my shoes still have pricetags from Payless, but wouldn’t the Lord have appreciated their BOGO model? What will happen to Ed Kowalczyk in the rapture? Oh, don’t go to Mexican hospitals. They SAY they know what they’re doing but then two weeks later you’re in a shady surgical center in New Jersey that loses power while your hand’s getting cut open. By the way, Tim have you seen “Bon Voyage, Charlie Brown?” It’s hella dark and I think it would be your movie spirit animal.

These two single handedly offended EVERY Filipino by insulting and making fun of a custom that my parents and grandparents and I’m sure the ones before them did. Do your research about different cultures before you open your mouth about something.

Best Podcast Out There
Did I switch from Android to iPhone just to review my favorite podcast on here? No. But maybe. Okay yeah. I’ve been a big fan of WIHTA since they first started recording in 2018. Tim and Garrett are both hilarious and their takes on some of these albums is must hear podcasting. Love the comedic timing of these two and will be a lifelong listener as long as Tim stays out of Gary, Indiana. He’s never up to any good up there.

Let the Robot Say It
The reviews here are spot on, and I don’t have much to add. So, I put some of their conversations into a stupid neural network and created an AI-generated review. “They are so good I can't. They just aren't as great as Cool Nasty Volume One, but when is that ever true? The baby has gone to the f'ing pool. Tim is like punk rock Phil Donahue and a hellzapoppin' cassette tape from the mid-‘90s. He states plainly, "If you like Beethoven and Cardigans and John Barry, you just can't get enough of us." Garrett was equally in love with arena rock post-Coldplay, slick lounge pop, and patchouli incense smoke. In the midst of album drug use, paranoia, and illness, they kept moving.” Pretty much right, really. Tim and Garrett might actually be an AI.

Entertaining as can be!
The guys are very funny and have great chemistry. The subject matter is so interesting. I love the band background info at the start of each show. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the slip ups of the lyrics. Example a “ every coward sings a sad, sad song “ 🤦🏻‍♂️ A little more research will make this the perfect show for music lovers

Rivers had it coming
People CAN be romantic. Either naturally or with choice and practice. It's maddening when someone says, "This is just who I am." Often, it's to justify some characteristic that's less than desirable. As the man telling the story, people can and do change. This was a very warm and inspiring story. Since it is told with a male's voice, yes, that gender would enjoy it too. And be better for it. All will enjoy it but specifically those who have been married for more than a few years. I related to many parts of the story including it sending me back in time with my memories . The book is a semi follow up of THE NOTEBOOK but can very well stand alone since the focus is on other characters. I loved the twist at the end! I didn't see it coming! Mr. Sparks pulled it off! Beautiful story telling.

Talent
These two guys are too talented for this podcast. Fantastic comedy writers and performers. Someone at SNL, Comedy Central, or probably a more current show I'm unaware of, would greatly benefit from hiring them both as a package. The writing, reading, timing, and/or editing, is so on point these days that it sounds like two friends having a hilarious conversation about terrible albums, cowboys, Rivers, interns, and Geno. A lot of long running really funny "inside" jokes that we are all in on. Also, really terrific character development. Whether or not they are true, long time listeners feel like they know the back stories for Tim and Garrett. Listening to shows each week feels like getting in touch with a couple of old college buddies. I would put these two head to head against any current show on a major network. I do worry though that this show has passed the threshold of diminishing returns for their talents. I would love to hear their comedy in a new format on a bigger medium. Keep up the excellent work! You are craftsmen! Liam

The last time I had to take my kids to the park, I was just looking for a spot to sit. I had had a rough go at life for a few weeks and now it was time to relax and watch my kids play. The place was packed with hot moms and shlubby dads, myself included. The hot moms were all talking about how unvaccinated their kids were and the dads, myself included, were all trying to look innocent while we were totally checking out the hot moms. A bird flew overhead and made a noise like a small engine revving up. This made all of the dads, myself included, look to the parking lot to make sure that nobody was attempting to steal our sweet, sweet rides. My 1987 Chevy Corsica was right where I had parked it, so I went back to discreetly trying to check out all of the hot Suzies and Karens and Bethanys. One of them, I think it was Suzie, caught my eye and gave me a knowing smile. She was all that and a bag of potato chips. Her loose sweats made her look frumpy, but I could tell she was the real deal. I approached her and introduced myself. I told her my name was Chad, even though it is really Jeremy and we hit it off. We have a date this weekend. I hope my wife can watch the kids and buys my story about how I suddenly joined the Jaycees. It’s important to be a part of your community, even if just for pretend.

My best friend spit on my hamster....
When I was 17 (2001) i had to keep a hamster for my highschool biology class, and my lab partner and I took turns taking him home on weekends. One friday my best friend was driving me home from school, as we pulled into my driveway i said "goodbye" to my friend, and he said "goodbye" to me. I thene help up Kazaam!'s cage (Kazaam! Was my hamster, named adter the 1996 Shaquille Oneal vehicle "Kazaam!"), and said "say goodbye". Then, inexplicably, my friend spit on my hamster. I then insinctively spit in my friends face. I then bailed and ran into my house, and locked him out as he chased me with the look of absolute rage on his face. That was basically the end of it, but 20 years later we still argue over who was wrong here. Can you giys weigh in on this? He is a great guy, outside of his proclivity for spitting on hamsters. Review The Wanderer by OAR please. That album SUUUCKS!

Why I like this podcast

Déjà Vu All Over Again
Man, I love this stuff…really makes me think through some great albums that had resided in my “under-appreciated” bin of music that I had heard - but never really heard - and am now hearing again - for the first time. I also appreciate the deep research on The Paper Cowboy episode…the saga of Townes Van Zandt deserves a re-listen.

I know you have missed some shows for me and I’m eternally grateful. I do have one request though, please take off your spurs when you get in my bed. You’ve ruined 5 sets of sheets already. Thanks again for taking this young Cowboy under your wing and providing so much support. Forever your buckaroo, Andrew

Not worth another listen
Listened to the episode about Follow The Leader. Though the hosts are probably just having fun and are entitled to their opinions while making some valid points, they focus solely on vocals and lyrics while failing to mention anything about instrumentation, song composition or innovation. It doesn’t seem like they have much musical knowledge, if any. Also, its pretty clear that they try and make things sound worse than they really are in order to live up to the title of their show. The worst part is that they make several comments on young angry white men or “WASPS” as they put it. Let’s see if they ever mention angry young black men after reviewing a gangster rap album.
