Bringing the Needs of my Brothers and Sisters in Christ
Each Saturday, I look forward to hearing the next broadcast so that I can learn how I can help and pray for my persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ. I usually walk while I listen. This makes it a great opportunity for turning it into a prayer walk. Thank you so much for this ministry and the work you do to support so many around the world! God bless you richly!

Looking forward to Todd’s book!
The stories you have shared on VOM radio help me pray. I think of the woman whose husband was arrested and told God, if they come for me, I will not be able to stand strong, but when she was arrested, every time she opened her mouth, the Holy Spirit moved her to preach the gospel! I think of the guy imprisoned in Iran and God gave him love for the man who was beating him every day, showing him his humanity, not just his malice. I think of Andrew Brunson who found courage to choose to rejoice and praise, even when his emotions wanted to give up hope. If I were in their position, I would want God to do those things for me and to be assured that what was happening had purpose to glorify God and impact others. That is remembering them as if I were in prison - how would I want others to pray if it were me? ToGodAloneBeGlory

Good for me
These podcasts are good for me! They help me have a global perspective on my faith. I am challenged to imitate the bold faith of my persecuted Christian family members I meet. And I am prompted to be more bold in my Christian witness. Thank you Todd and VOM!

He is among you
I wanted to feel God‘s presence. I wanted to see him work, and I wish that he would simply come down and speak to us, and I reminded that he chooses to work for us, faulty people and on this podcast, I have been introduced to many examples of God in this world now. That’s why I like this podcast.

Great information on the persecuted Church
I love this podcast so much! It’s well done and Todd/guests give pertinent information on how to pray for believers around the globe who are persecuted for their faith. Every time I listen, I pray. I’m pretty particular about podcast quality, after all I am a 35 year old and my age group reigns in the realm of needing quality podcasts 😂 All that to say, I am impressed with the quality of the show. Thanks Todd and team!!! 5 stars all around.

Motivated
I am always motivated by the stories every week. We, in the west have no idea what it is like to “suffer for Jesus”, these podcasts give us a glimpse into that reality.

All about perspective
It is convicting and wonderful to be reminded of the perspectives of life, especially the lives of our Christian brothers and sisters. We live in a time where we see so much of the “it’s all about me, what’s happening to me, woe is me”. To be reminded of our call as Christians to share the gospel, to pick up our cross and follow Christ and hear these stories helps me keep it all in perspective.

A heart for the persecuted
If you have a heart for our persecuted brothers & sisters, this podcast will be a blessing. And a challenge! They cover the globe. I really like the variety of situations they bring to us & VOM’s willingness to work with other groups who are already in the field. Your heart will be moved & your prayer life expanded!! Thank you, VOM!

Grounding
This podcast keeps my eyes on the Kingdom and not just the materialistic worries of my day to day life. My children enjoy listening and I know it benefits their faith to realize the Church is so much bigger than what they know. We all need the encouragement that God is faithful and this podcast does just that!

Definitely worth your time!
I’ve been a listener for a number of years, and God continues to use Todd and the stories of our brothers and sisters in Christ powerfully in my life. Often when I am struggling with my own ministry as a leader in Christian schools, God uses VOM in various formats to realign my life and inspire my spirit to not give up. I am so grateful for the ministry of God through you, and I pray for more and more fruit. I would also love to have a conversation around best practices for sharing these stories with teenagers and inspiring them to engage with the Church worldwide. Thank you and God bless you all!

Praying for Places with Armed Conflict
I’ve been listening to this podcast since last summer and I’m steadily working my way back through the archives. I’m constantly reminded of the love of God, his faithfulness and his power. Since the beginning of the year, I’ve been praying for places with armed conflict and there is plenty of overlap here.

Beautiful and inspiring!
This podcast is so encouraging! The stories they tell of how a person found Christ and is living their faith out is just so beautiful! This podcast inspires me to think about what I can do (whether that is financially and/or prayerfully) and how God wants to use my life! The Bible tells us that we are shaft that the wind drives away. I want my life to be meaningful and used for a purpose! I want Jesus to guide me! I’m so thankful for this podcast and how it inspires Christians to DO something! Thank y’all for all you do!

This is Basic Christianity
To live for Jesus means He is Lord. His agenda not ours, His will not ours. VOM knows this and brings voices from all over the globe to this awesome podcast. I started listening in 2020 amidst discouragement from what I saw the American Church not doing during the pandemic. I have found this podcast so encouraging that our brothers and sisters around the world aren’t hiding during the pandemic. They are boldly preaching Christ crucified and risen and they are seeing fruit as people come to faith. THANK YOU Voice of the Martyrs for being a steady source of biblical encouragement. Well done!

Life changing
A friend of mine texted me two episodes of the VOM podcast about four years ago now. There were these Iranian women who had been imprisoned for many months and mistreated for the sake of the gospel, and when VOM interviewed them, they shared how they were so thankful that they were counted worthy to suffer for Jesus. That rocked my world, and sent me on a new course. Not overnight, but over the course of about three years, the Lord worked in my heart as I kept hearing the weekly episodes of people willing to suffer for Jesus, to move me out of my comfort zone. My husband and I had been in full-time pastoral ministry for over 20 years, but most of our time was spent in the relative ease of running church programs for church people. I was never required to go out to the streets and share my faith, which I was terrified of. But the stories of these faithful believers around the world haunted me, in a good way. During this time, the Lord worked on my husband through a different route, but it culminated about a year ago when we decided to leave the regular paycheck of a church and instead be missionaries to our city, regularly and intentionally going out among the lost and offering Jesus to them, through a process called Disciple Making Movements. If I could boil down the lesson that VOM has taught me, it would be this: Jesus is worthy to be uncomfortable for and even to suffer for. Our brothers and sisters around the world have known this for a long time, but it’s taken me 48 years to finally get it.

Perspective and encouragement
When I’m discouraged about how things are going in America, Todd Nettleton’s guests help me to see the world from the perspective of God’s work among the nations. The larger story is an encouraging one, and I can play my part here confident that God will not fail in His good work. I appreciate the encouragement and equipping for prayer, as well.

Encouraging
This podcast encourages me in my faith. Christians all over the world are sharing the gospel in the midst of suffering and difficulty. The western church needs to follow the example of the persecuted church to live out the gospel.

Real and so moving
These actual real-life experiences testify to the goodness of God. I listen to these awesome testimonies because they inspire me. These stories convince me that the Word of God about Jesus affects all people all around the world regardless the social status, the government mandates, the cultural taboos, the family interferences, the persecutions, etc. Thank you for bringing us these interviews.

Christ is Glorified
These Personal and first-hand testimonies magnify Christ and give evidence that he is still persecuted around the globe and is still Saving people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation TODAY! This is a wonderful way to share the Gospels! I will use the 4 Ws: Welcome, Worship, Word and Witness, and remember that persecution is part of whole package. Always in Christ!

So encouraging!
I have been listening to VOM podcasts for several years. I appreciate how it connects me to the Body of Christ around the world, giving me millions of brothers and sisters in Christ without regard to denominational or national identity! Such an encouragement and reason for hope in a world which seems full of hate, despair and division!
