This was my favorite Hearthstone podcast for quite awhile, but since Gaara left the actual hearthstone content has gone way downhill. Chanman’s knowledge of the game is questionable even to a relatively casual player like myself and whenever one of the guests start to get into something remotely useful Chanman cuts them off. And on a side note, this Nikolena person who has been on the last two weeks is super annoying and doesn’t seem to have anything useful to contribute either. Probably going to unsubscribe if Gaara isn’t coming back, but to my knowledge his absence hasn’t even been acknowledged on the show.

ChanManV is a great host and has many popular streamers and competitors on the show each week. Very insightful content to get a deeper look into the meta on ladder and at tournaments. Highly recommend checking out Value Town if you are looking to learn and get better at Hearthstone.

Ok their newest video has to be a joke right? Saying Shirvallah/immortal prelate is good and rain of toads is bad? It seems like none of these guys have any experience in the game, paladin have a bunch of win conditions, aggro is extremely prevalent in the meta, and summoning something with 2 attack is extremely better than 1 in spreading plague, plus, electra with this is a full defensive board, and their tokens which goes well with bloodlust and other board filling evolve from the dk. Will play well with shudderwock for defensive. Cmon guys, where is a podcast with people who actually play the game wth

Mediocre hosts. Gaara seems to think that pro players should always win, which is quite silly. The guests really make this show.

I listen to this podcast everyday and there has never been a bad episode!

Then download this. ChanmanV never fails to make me facepalm so hard I see stars. I would probably listen to a podcast with just Gaara, but I’m done listening to this because it’s causing me to get angry and yell at my phone and people stare at me. Chanman knows so little about hearthstone it makes my head hurt and he never gets any better. He does a great job producing streamer showdown and I’m sure he’s a nice guy that I would love to have a beer with or something, but he’s an awful host and I’m just done. It seems like he just doesn’t pay attention and probably moves through life in a sort of ignorant bliss.

I love HSReplay and learning insights from the best players around the world. Gives me motivation to not only hit Legend every month but finally start going for high ranks in Legend. Thank you so much for this show!

This is the top tier Hearthstone podcast. It’s aimed at advanced players but can be enjoyed by anyone. I love the strategy and meta discussion. I miss Jackie but Gara is an excellent replacement. Mechatorps Workshop isn’t really my thing but I’m sure some people love it. Highly recommended to any Hearthstone player.

This show is an amazing way to help get you back in the swing of you have been out of the game, or even if you are currently playing the knowledge between Jackie, Allie and Chanmanv can keep you up to date. Totally interesting, funny, and knowledgeable show I think everyone should give it a go!

Valuetown features two of the most popular Hearthstone streamers, J4ackie and Allie. Chanman is also solid as host, having done the show with Nox for years. This podcast is a good start for people getting into hearthstone or veterans who want to stay informed. There's always new deck strategies discussed or in depth card analysis in Underrated/Jebaitted. Many episodes have frequent guests famous in hearthstone circles like Toast, Ant, Raven, and Dr. J. I also recommend watching their VODS on YouTube or Twitch.

I am a better Hearthstone player because of the information and insight that Value Town offers. One of the few podcasts I listen to religiously. I can not recommend enough!

These guys play out of my league, but it is nice to hear some pro tips for the game. Jackie is the man.

This is the first time I've listened to Value Town, and I have no idea how I've missed it so far. I love the format, the banter between hosts, and having Toast as a guest just put the show over the top. I'm heading to Patreon now, you guys deserve support for such an amazing podcast!

Chanman does multiple podcasts each week and the experience shows. Not only does the show have a good flow, but if a topic does go to a different direction other then planned it is explored creating an organic feel that this show isn't just news, it is a conversation.

After listening to VT for more than a year, I can safely leave a five star review. The podcast does a great job recapping news and decks from the past week, while at the same time, giving their honest opinions on the state of the game. The host also has great guests that offer professional and critical input. The only downside is that they don't do a great job for audio only listeners when they talk about some of the decks. Keep up the great work!

Value Town is a must listen to podcast for me. And dare I say, it is the best Value in Town o_O

If you are looking to give Value Town another chance: The show seems to take itself way more seriously now. I think the start of their crowd funding effort really tied to the uptick. Gone are the days of guests tuning out of the conversation, shoddy audio, and ten minute sidetracks to complain about Knife Juggler. They even acknowledge that they may have been a bit too negative with the inclusion of the "Smile Stone" segment. (which is priceless.) Noxious just recently left the show, admitting he hadn't been playing as much recently and didn't feel qualified to host such an important show for the game. In his place we now have J4ckie and Alliestrasza who seem to have much more genuine joy for the game they are playing. If you are new to the show: The best things about the show are still present, "ChanManV" and is co-hosts bring in prominent guests from the Hearthstone community and have long in-depth talks about every aspect of the game. Check it out, especially for the strategy and deck building segments. I had some pretty harsh negative things to say in a previous review, and I hope I wasn't too harsh. I want to see Hearthstone succeed, and part of that is having quality content at the hearts of our community, and Value Town is definitely one of those. My last thought, I wish the larger e-sports/gaming community would go out of their way more to acknowledge the upleasent aspects of our community (think the vile hate that appears in Twitch chats) and proactively make our community a more appealing space for women, people of color, and other minorities. I think we can all do more to make this happen, *especially* if we have a large platform like a podcast. It seems we take for granted that gaming personalities are a vast majority straight, white, males. If we know that (for instance) 50% of the gaming population is female, and yet we don't see their voices represented, than I think we need to make it our buisness to see what we can do about that.

Down to earth hearthstone players keeping us in the looks. Keep it up.

Value Town has been my go-to Hearthstone podcast for a couple of years. It covers lots of aspects of the game and its competitive scene and tries to highlight both fun and effective decks week to week. J4CKIECHAN and Alliestrasza have recently joined ChanmanV to host the show and are adding a lot to the discussion. Well worth the time to listen every week.

Love listening to the guys talk about the current state of the meta in hearthstone. I'm not able to play everyday and they keep me up to date.

They are constantly finding the best players to join them as guests and are able to lead discussions that are beneficial and intelligent. Every other word is "meme," which also seems to be synonymous with "joke" to the hosts. Otherwise, the podcast is pretty good, often with interesting meta discussion and popular community figures (Firebat, Disguised Toast, Trump, Zalae) and you'll enjoy it if you can listen past the first thirty "memey decks."

High quality news and converstaion about Hearthstone with just the right balance of PogChamp and BabyRage. A great place to stay up to date with the meta and tournament scene.

I used to only listen to the angry chicken, then I found these guys. I'm currently listening to both but I find myself slowly perfecting Value Town (mostly due to the guests)

Title says it all. If you're searching between the different hearthstone podcasts that are available your search is over. This is the best one by far. The commentators are fantastic and maintain a perfect balance of banter and content. They are very accomplished players themselves and have some of the best pro players in the community come on to give additional perspective. They cater mostly to the competitive side but they do a really good job of keeping it accessible to more casual oriented listeners as well. This podcast is more than just entertainment, listening to it will improve your game. ChanmanV and Noxious are the perfect hosts, they are friendly, and keep the conversation relevant and interesting. Here's to many more years listening to the best HS cast there is!

Value Town always has some of the best player and deck builder in the Hearthstone scene providing insightful analysis of cards, decks, and the current meta. If you are a new player eager to learn the game or even an experienced one, it is a great podcast to pick up some great tips about what cards/decks work and which ones don't. For players who are into the Hearthstone community the podcast offers great discussions about Hearthstone events and tournaments. There is something for everyone, so I hightly recommend you give it a listen. My gameplay has improved significantly since I started listening to the show. Many thanks to ChanManV, his crew, and his guests for all the hard work and effort they put into the show.

Noxious is the best! This podcast has great guests and ChanMan is a great host. This has passed Angry Chicken and Well Met! to become my favorite HS podcast.

This is the best hearthstone podcast for the experienced players and a players trying to become more experienced. Great casters and ChanMan's personality is infectious.
