Fr Mike is an amazing speaker and story teller. His relatable style takes you in a journey that allows you to focus on the true message and meaning.

I’ve been struggling with something lately and the Holy Spirit nudged me to listen to Fr. Mike’s homily today. He always speaks to me, but he really knocked it out of the park today. Thank you for being a beacon of light in a world of darkness, Fr. Mike. You are a blessing! 🙏🏻

This is a wonderful podcast. One thing I’d like to request, please add a few seconds of silence at the end of the podcast. There is so much to reflect on, and without that time the next podcast starts up automatically, and often times it can be something quite jarring compared to Fr’s homily.

This series is so good - He Leadeth Me . I’m not Catholic but found this podcast and I have loved it . This one especially hit home with me because I always want to know the why and be in control essentially. To simply trust in Him has been hard this past year being hit with several life changing difficult events . I needed to hear this today .

Anything Fr Mike puts his hands on turns to gold. He is just a wonderful speaker. He hits on all the topics that we all want to hear about. I appreciate all the work he is doing. Thank you.

I get so much out of Fr. Mikes homilies. Look forward to them every Sunday before I go to church because it is rare that I hear any better than Fr. Mike. Fr. Mike always adds something personal in his homilies which I really enjoy. I have said for years that homilies are more meaningful if the priest would share some personal experience in the course of their homily. Fr. Mike consistently hits it out of the park.

The things that make you seek comfort—the smells, the sounds, the love, the touch, the tastes. Father Mike’s homilies provide me so much comfort. And, his homilies have helped me comprehend so much. I converted to Catholicism in 2008 when I married my husband. I grew up as a Lutheran. My husband has been trying to help me understand the Saints and how they help him since we met. I never “got it”. After listening to the triathlon analogy—I finally understand how the Saints can help me in my daily life. I had tears streaming down my face. Thank you Father Mike. You have helped so many and I am so very grateful. God bless you each and every day.

I got hooked through the Bible in a Year podcast and still desire to listen to Father Mike’s interpretations and readings so I listen to the homilies every morning now. The kicker is- I’m not even Catholic! He’s just that good. And, I have never been closer to God. I’ve had absolutely miraculous experiences with my spiritual mind open from these podcasts of his.

Father Mike’s homily today is a gift to all men. His explanation of masculinity is straightforward and clarifies the demoralizing messages males hear today. One message hardly heard and so important is the power of a father’s blessing.

Today I feel that your homily has opened my eyes to a need for our children that I have been blinded. Thank you for your calling to the priesthood. Please keep praying for us, I will keep praying for your strength in the Lord.

That’s typically how Father Mike starts and ends a homily. And I love it! Fr. Mike’s homilies I feel are are created especially for me. He’s so natural and done to earth everything just makes sense. As a kid sitting in mass I never heard any laughter during a homily but it’s not uncommon to hear it Fr Mike’s. It’s a goal of mine to see him in person and thank him.
