Ignore the haters
This podcast has, throughout the years, attempted to provide clear and concise ACTUAL evidence to cases. Through intensive work and investigation many new issues have come to light. It’s not only about the Adnan Syed case, although haters seem to have pushed that agenda. Many pick a side and then make the evidence fit, and you will NOT find that on this podcast. The work ethic, doing his OWN work instead of using others without investigating the validity, is tremendous. If you value true investigative work and honesty, then you won’t be disappointed with the many seasons of this podcast.

Confused by this
This show is all opinions and the wrong ones at that. No evidence or facts just a cop hating, victim blaming, pro criminal outlook. No intelligence found in this show just weird narcissistic jibber jabber. Sorry Bob but no. PS ADNAN is GUILTY AS EFF.

Complete Joke
If you’re looking for truth or justice, look somewhere else. I used to love this show until I actually read the police case files- NOT the selected information Bob presents. If you want a real look at the actual case file follow the “Truth and Justice Discussion Group” on Facebook… not the “Official Fan Group”. The poor excuse for reporting and journalism aside, Bob runs the Official Group like a dictator- he kicks out dissenters and promotes/encourages anything that feeds his ego.

Bob had lost his way
One of my favorites at one time. When he went after fellow podcaster, I refused to endorse or give him a good rating

Lazy grifter
Edit:Just when I thought you couldn’t be any stupider, I listened to your last episode. Good job on cornering the stupid market. ADNAN IS AS GUILTY AS YOU ARE STUPID. Get a real job. I used to be a fan until I started reading the case files. Bob has never met a murderer he doesn’t like. Hides and skews the truth and now has the absolute gall to talk trash on The Prosecutors. Adnan is guilty, you lazy grifter.

Truth
Thank you for the time and efforts you have put in to breaking down the B.S. prosecutors podcast. As if justice isn’t hard enough to get in this case. These two should be prosecuted for the complete garbage they are putting out and trying to hinder justice.

Thank you!
I’ve been a listener since season one. Bob , I followed you and the team on this journey going over The prosecutors podcast -on why they believe Adnan is guilty kicking and screaming. From the first time hearing Adan's story through serial, I thought something was off . Then listening to your season on Adan’s case and of course all of undisclosed episodes meticulously covering and uncovering all the facts AKA Truth of the wrongful conviction and horrible miscarriage of justice done to Adnan and Hae . I didn’t want to listen to anymore misinformation about this case. However I did, it was extremely hard , but so glad you took this to task. Especially for those folks who didn’t have any thing else to go on except the incredibly misinformation that The prosecutors episode’s put out there. Thank you for doing this , I know it had to be extremely difficult and draining. You are appreciated! !!!! As well as your team. My prayers are with all of you.

Facts are facts
I am always still amazed on how much Bob focuses on the evidence and the facts and is very clear when he’s sharing his opinion. Other podcasts frame the story they want you to hear, but Bob treats you like an adult who can make your own decisions about the evidence presented. He assumes his audience is intelligent, and he never condescends. All that said, I still love the occasional Angry Bob! Say what you gotta say, and don’t apologize!

The BEST in true crime podcasting.
Truth and Justice is the gold-standard in true crime podcasting. Keep up the great work!

This podcast
Is a podcast about a podcast talking about a podcast they created supporting a popular podcast. It’s hilarious. But also disturbing. Everything that’s wrong with true crime your thing? You’ve found your people. Weaponized microphone included.

New Fan!
I’m an avid listener of true crime podcasts and I just stumbled upon yours 2 weeks ago. I don’t know why I didn’t start from season 1 but I started at the season of the Adnan appeal case. After that season I started from season 1. I LOVE THIS PODCAST!!! I just want to say thank you for all the work you are doing for the wrongfully convicted! Your work is so informative, detailed and full of compassion. You would of been an amazing lawyer. I just wanted to show my gratitude for you and your work. May God bless you and your family.

My go-to podcast
I’ve been a listener since season 1 and can’t say enough about the Truth & Justice team and their commitment to help wrongfully convicted people as well as the families of victims get the justice they deserve. Each season gets better and better. The follow-up episodes are my favorite as I like to listen to the team’s conversations as well as the questions and comments from other listeners. It can be just a podcast if you want, but it can also be a true community.

Seriously?!
Is this guy for real?! I genuinely thought this is supposed to be a true crime PARODY podcast! “Dissecting” a more popular, evidence-based podcast might make him some money but it hardly comes close to persuasive or thoughtful. Kind of fits in with his personality and style I guess, but listening to him is mind-numbing and tedious. Nice try though, Bob.

Grifter
Bob falsely claims a copyright to the police interview for Jenn to force people to listen to this on his podcast where he can make money off of the murder of an innocent girl, whose killer he is supporting not because he actually believes in his innocence, but to make money. He’s a low rate grifter of the worst kind. Anyone that follows him is stupid and lacks critical thinking skills, just like Bob.

Unbelievable
This is a podcast about a podcast again, and this time it’s much worse. He is not only a bad podcaster in terms of voice, cadence, presentation, he is not very bright and only responds to things he disagrees with, without much rational thinking involved. It’s frankly lame and exploitative. The girl and guy that does this fiasco with him, seem like good people, but they enable this insane echo chamber. The prosecutors are the real deal, this is just trash really

Disappointed
I have listened to a couple of seasons and enjoyed them. These new multiple episodes putting down another podcast is off putting. If you stand by your case, no response to another podcast should be necessary. I feel like people quit listening to this podcast because it was boring so we are back to Adnan in an attempt to stay relevant.

Most important podcast out there
This pod is one of the few truly making a difference, helping people in real time, and God willing saving lives along the way. Listen and give back, if you can.

No Credibility
Sorry Bob, but you are stretching the truth and making no sense. Brett and Alice break it down and all you do is pontificate. Glad you like the sound of your voice so much that even nonsense is pleasing to you because your word salad on Adnan is just that nonsense.

Hard no
There can’t be this many naive people with no common sense or critic thinking skills. Yet here they are…leaving this blathering grifter five star reviews.

Phenomenal Coverage
Bob and his team do not take the easy way out; this is FACT-BASED reporting and analysis. Solid research. Solid podcast.

Jumped the shark
Early seasons were pretty good, but definitely jumped the shark during the Houston teenager season. It seems to be more about preaching to his supporters than any real truth or justice.

Bob and Team Rock!
Bob and his team do amazing investigative work, give you the facts and details as they go about investigating and reporting on wrongful convictions. You feel as though you are right alongside them.
MDLawyer03
Bad Faith Podcaster
Bob comes across as so egotistical and arrogant when he tries to discredit another podcast that comes to a conclusion that is different from his. He says that he attempts to discredit their sources and facts, but he ends up coming across as an angry man that’s grasping at soggy paper straws.

Grifter
I can’t tell if Bob is completely unhinged or just a total idiot. Either one could explain this absolute garbage. Keep grifting, Bob.

Grifter Bob
Bob can’t handle the prosecutors. He’s now built a full season of ad Hominem attacks against them. Pathetic.
StopBeingGullible
Ethical and
Thank you Bob and crew for being ethical and non-agenda driven! You are unlike other podcasters out there - who just prove why the US judicial system is so corrupt unfortunately. These cowards will not come on your show because they are blatant liars and their agendas mean more to them than the actual truth. Thank you for your honesty and thoroughness of each and every case you cover. Most people appreciate and want the truth and the facts without spin. I know that this is what I will get when listening to Truth & Justice.

Truth… Adnan is innocent. Lots of trollskis out there not invested in facts…. The format is about truth- glad you brought up bret&alice. They are good at massaging the truth into consumable pap & prejudice. Thanks for all the investigative energy you all put into the pod. Stay positive and keep on truckin 😎

Great podcast
I found this podcast through an ad from another podcast I was listening to, I’ve been listening to ever since. Keep up the good work Bob Ruff!

Brett and Alice could sit and read the phone book and still have a more intelligent podcast than this garbage. This podcast is a waste of internet space! 😂

Listened to both prosecutor and now this
I have never done a deep dive into this case, I did listen to serial and then some of undisclosed. I really didn’t have much of an opinion until you discussed the phone records and times. I looked them up myself to make sense of them. I could not see who made incoming calls, so assuming we don’t have those? With that in mind we see a call to Adnan’s voicemail. Which I think is the most reasonable thing a kid would do when he first gets his phone back in his hands. All other calls are Jays after the time he gets car and phone. The one exception, the new girlfriend. I agree, butt dial or call by jay (oops wrong number) as we see more of calls Jay would make after. At the same time after the call to voicemail you start to see calls Adnan would be making to his people. I already understand the possibility of the false confession by Jay because I have done a deep dive into others, so that is a non issue for me.

Basically it’s just run of the mill Innocence Fraud. If you take 40 IQ points from Rabia and make her a male, this is what you get.

I’m over hearing about Adnan Syed
First, I am a huge fan of the show. I have listened for a number of seasons and really like the way Bob digs into the facts and documentation related to a case to help determine guilt or innocence of that season’s case study. This has resulted in some amazing outcomes. Having said that, I have not enjoyed the last two seasons of the show and its attempts to change the format. While it was admirable to bring exposure to these missing persons cases, it left me feeling helpless to do anything to find them and incredibly sad for the families profiled. This season with the story of Jodi James, it seemed like we were getting back to the group investigation and deep dive case study that I love about the show, sadly that was not to be because of the lack of information available to the public. To fill the space, Bob has decided to do a series of episodes regarding the Adnan Syed case. Specifically, rebutting the content put out by another podcast claiming, after their review of the evidence, the Adnan is guilty. While I know that Bob is passionately devoted to the innocence of Adnan, I don’t feel that another series or season needs to be devoted to this rebuttal. In fact, I feel it comes across to me as if Bob is calling the other podcast’s hosts liars. It just feels petty to me. I have listened to a number of podcasts and seen the tv shows regarding the Adnan Syed case and have my own opinions about guilt or innocence which are not relevant to this review. I have heard so much about this case now, that I am over it. Unless, there is a major update to his current situation, Adnan is a free man. There is no more story. I am sad to say that I have made the choice to stop following this podcast for now. I will miss Bob, Zach, and Janet, but not the content.

Adnan coverage
Crime Weekly podcast also did a deep dive into the Adnan case so if you don’t believe the Prosecutors podcast listen to Stephanie and Derricks take on the case. They are the first one that made me realize how a jury was able to convict. Facts and evidence

Signing off
I really liked this podcast and listened faithfully for a few seasons and kind of fell off after a while. Bob goes into great detail and it’s a lot of information to take in and I just didn’t have the mental bandwidth to consume all of the info. I came back when he started covering current missing persons cases and while “love” doesn’t feel like the right word to use to describe, I truly appreciated him giving the families the opportunity to spread the word about their missing loved ones. I’m very sad that he gave up on that venture.. I don’t know if I will keep tuning in. Wrongful convictions are important, but I just have had a harder time clicking with the content since the shift. Maybe when things settle back in and he has a new case to work on, it’s just been chaotic lately. Also, I really miss Mike. I always enjoyed Friday Follow-Ups, Mike’s steady energy was a good balance to Bob!

Great Listen
I’ve listened from the start, but have taken forever to actually review. Bob is thoughtful and thorough. He cares about getting to the truth and puts his money where his mouth is. He also lets evidence guide him as opposed to finding evidence to follow his feelings. Truly worth your time.

This guy
Can't see past the "best time of his life" to realize people are being verbally abused at an event he wants everyone to go to. Are we sure this guy is a good fit for true crime. Empathy doesn't seem to be his strong suit.

Bad choice, Bobby
Decided to hook his wagon to the wrong cart. A cart on fire. Don’t act like you don’t always insert yourself into drama that has nothing to do with you. Pretty pathetic buddy.

Started out great but recently
Was a big fan starting out. However if he’s just going be talking about how other podcasts have it wrong I’m not going continue to listen. I’d much rather listen to cases he’s looking into not just calling other podcaster idiots.

Rude in person
Watched him bump fans and cut the line for drinks at Obsessed Fest, and couldnt even be bothered to talk to mere commoners while being so rude. Look bob, we had to PAY a lot to be there and pay for our own drinks, you could at least say excuse me when cutting the line.

Incredible podcast that tells the truth and will admit when incorrect
I’ve been listening since The Serial Dynasty. Bob Ruff is the kind of person that you want as a friend. This makes him a great podcaster. He looks at cases from all angles, not just from the innocence side. If he makes a mistake, he admits it. He is always learning while doing episodes. He does not claim to be an expert. His episodes are clear and consistently well researched. For those giving bad reviews because he is putting his reply briefs on Patreon, he clearly explains why. Since Brett and Alice from The Prosecutors don’t have the guts to engage in a civilized conversation with him, he will be releasing them free.

Top favorite!
Bob does a great job of pulling you into a case, he lays the cases out in a way that’s easy to follow & asks the right questions -then answers with facts to back it. I think it’s important for a true crime podcaster to have the receipts & not just give wild theories or skip important details. If information changes, he updates & if he’s ever wrong-he admits that & gets everyone up to speed. I appreciate his attention to detail, his honesty & professionalism. His co-hosts add to the conversation & I appreciate their perspective.

Making a difference
Bob and his army of listeners have one goal: to find truth and justice for those who have been wrongfully imprisoned for crimes. If you’re interested in learning about the responsible, unbiased way to reinvestigate a crime, or if you want to help Bob in his mission, this podcast is for you.

I wanted to like this podcast
I guess I shouldn’t have started with the episode piggybacking off another podcast and dogging them. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Fantastic podcast which has now lost credibility
Unfortunately my review has changed over time. A few years ago Bob did a bizarre talk at CC where he and JC “reviewed” an admittedly edited interview that a journalist did with TH in the WM3 case. They basically just called him a murderer based on weird things and I found it to be very uncomfortable (even though I think he’s a prime suspect). For example, JC kept stating that no other set of 3 boys had ever been murdered so it must be TH. What??? Cut to now, a few years after later and Bob is now claiming that he knows “100%” that Adnan did not kill Hae Min Lee. No one knows that 100% except for the people that were there. Anyone, no matter what their stance is, that says they know “100%” has no credibility. In the same episode he also went on to misrepresent several facts in a Delphi memorandum. I had just read it and also confirmed it after his statements. So we’re supposed to believe he’s the authority on one case when he can’t be bothered to correctly communicate information he has just read in a brief? So I’m done. I may check in for updates now and again but I just can’t get behind someone that doesn’t recognize their own limitations as a human. If you want to listen to some good podcasting, listen to his old episodes of True Crime Binge, he’s a great interviewer. Old review: I heard Bob speak at CrimeCon and was blown away with his presentation on the West Memphis case. I quickly subscribed and started the newest season on the 8-hour drive home. I love the format, the detail, it's really fantastic.
