Contradictory ads
Episode 877 was going great until there was a doritos ad right after he spoke about an example of snacking being an issue and identifying triggers. Out of all the products in the world that they could advertise, they chose doritos? Not very helpful at all

The best!
It’s so fun to learn all these tiny leaps, because they’re easy to implement and highly motivating. I’m always excited to learn!

Half commercials
He goes on and on about being anti-capitalist, but roughly a third or more of every episode is commercials so it’s tiny little things mostly commercials

Mindblowing
Holy smokes!! Gregg has a deep wisdom but a really simple and understandable way of communicating it. If you want to be inspired to change your life AND start taking action on doing it… I highly recommend 🙌

Impactful
Greg is a fantastic podcast host! I loved tuning in to hear about new techniques I can implement in my life day-to-day to help move the needle towards bigger goals. Bravo work, Greg! Thank you for sharing your insight with us.

Wow Gregg!
You are simply Amazing! Love the fact that Ashley James spoke about anxiety. So many of us suffer from this issue. Keep up the good work.

Perfect reminders
Perfect reminders of people who have fallen off track or let things get in the way and haven’t gotten back on track yet such as myself with a few things, LOL that really need to get back on track and this like to do list must should want is good common sense , But to hear it and to apply it is so different than to just think about it in passing so it’s really helpful and I really like this podcast and I look forward to listening to more episodes thank you

Monotonous
Really boring and monotonous

Easy Changes
This podcast gives great information to help maximize your life; however, the podcast is “dry” and boring. Gregg is also very verbose and tends to talk in circles. Despite the negatives, this podcast will help you live a better more productive life. UPDATE: I’ve listened since the early days. But the profanity-laced abortion episode was too much. Since Gregg is not even open to other opinions and perspectives, it makes me wonder how he is even developing and growing as a person.

Wandered Into the Political
I have subscribed to and loved this show for a couple of years. A recent podcast wandered into the political sphere and gave expression of opinion and the plea for others to understand and share a perspective. That was fine. However, Clunis was insulting and berating to those who might disagree. He went so far as to call people fascists who disagreed and invited them to stop listening. I did not mind his viewpoint and wasn’t in the camp he described, but was turned off by the combative attitude of “agree or you are a facist.” Message received. If a listener doesn’t agree on everything, please leave. So I did.

Fits into your routine easily, high signal to noise
I think this podcasts strengths are that the length of time makes it super digestible for a variety of activities or routines you’re doing while listening. Oftentimes on longer podcasts I struggle with retention because it’s hard to keep some focus on the audio for a full half hour or more. These episode lengths kept me focused and engaged for the duration. And because they’re not overly long, there’s not a lot of fluff here.

I use to listen
I use to like this podcast until he went off on his obscenity laced abortion rant. If I want to listen to politics, I’ll listen to those podcasts. I don’t really care about abortion one way or the other.

Phenomenal Concept ***rating 10 episodes in, will update as appropriate ***
This is clearly a show for real people who have real lives but want to change the path that they’re on. Bite size nuggets of information, exercises to condition structure and organization as traits, and tools to provide people the support and guidance they need to find success. The information, exercises, and tools are presented with the supporting research as evidence of their value, and all of this in brief snippets of time that, I dare say, improve palatability and digestion. Right now it’s a 4 star rating because I hope the content continues to build on itself and expand to more substantial information.

Good viewpoints but poor pronunciation
I love the topics and advice, but the reason poor pronunciation irritates me. I’m listening to the How to Solve Your Problem While You Dream and any “-ing” word is “-in’.” Dreamin’, Improvin’, Readin’, etc. It’s just hard to not focus on and doesn’t come across professionally.

Inspiring and motivating listen!
As a person who is not exactly practical all the time, I appreciate Gregg’s practical nature. He suggests practical applications to help change your life in manageable ways. I am always striving to be a better version of myself. I appreciate others who do the same. Highly recommend!!

Simplified, limited perspective
I wanted to like this show. I listened to a couple episodes and thought it was ok, then I got to the “This is Why You Aren’t Happy” episode and unsubscribed. I believe the host has good intentions but he has no business doing a mental health podcast. The advice on this episode was “it’s not things, it’s people who make you happy”, “go focus on your relationship with your significant other, your parents, your aunts / uncles”. Some of us have family of origin trauma that has impacted our ability to form relationships. Some of us have depression and feelings of isolation from being 2 years into this pandemic, and not having a family or a partner for support. I know “things” don’t make us happy, but this is oversimplified advice from someone who has a very limited perspective on mental health. If you’re struggling, please seek out podcasts by reputable, qualified people, and find a licensed therapist if you are able to.

Potential ruined by too many ads
Half of the time is made up of ads, shame.

Minimal Content, 75% Ads
I really wanted to like this podcast, but it’s typically 9 minutes of ads and 4 minutes of content (just an example, but ya get the point). I had high hopes for this podcast, but the content just isn’t worth the ads.
misscaity101
Ads
Unfortunately this podcast is half ads half content. He makes some good points on various topics, but when I’m driving to work, I don’t want to fall asleep listening to someone promote things and try to get money out of me. He suggests going to a site that takes out the ads, but that would only leave about 5-10 minutes of an episode left? No thank you.

I love how quick each episode is and the hacks that are so easy, fun, and practical. As an author and peer support group leader, having fresh ideas and fun conversations to listen to are great distractions and inspire new thought and energy.

I listen to all of Gregg’s episodes
I prefer Gregg’s voice because it’s soothing (as opposed to the grating sound that passes for many ‘podcaster’ types these days...)

Please never change the intro music 😊
I love this podcast. Gregg gives so many actionable realistic tools and tips that can be used in our everyday lives. Most of all I love the intro music... it gets me pumped for the great content that’s coming

Too many ads
I wanted to like this podcast but half of each episode is pure ads and trying to sell you something.
134Andie
8 minute intro then 3 minutes of content
I’m confused as to how the 4 and 5 star reviewers possibly aren’t bothered by the horribly disproportionate ratio of ads/intro to content

Meditation episode could have been 2 minutes

Useful Life Growing Action Steps
Short Powerful Content and Genuine, Smooth delivery. Very Professional. Not sure why so many comments on ads. Podcast is a business not a charity.

Ads
I remember only listening to ads and not the content, why would anyone want to listen to 10 mins of ads. Are you kidding me?

Great show!
This show is so great at motivating me to do better things in my life. It’s full of many unique ideas to make your life complete and productive. Also, great organization and placement of ads!

The ads!!!
Good content aside from 3/4 of the podcast is an ad. The meat of it is 3-4 minutes.

Get over it
This guy does a good job presenting information from his perspective. For the most part he keeps politics and controversy out of his podcast. I don’t care if he doesn’t say a “g” at the end of words because i and not a DB. The ads are too long but that is easy to fast forward through. I understand having to pay the bills but please just shorten them some. I am glad he cut back on the horrible music that was played way too much in the early episodes. I am assuming he was only playing that terrible stuff because he was being paid to play it. But just because you were being paid does not mean you had to give is fake praise.
