Perfectly Wicked
Favorite collection of scary stories under one pod. Just added this one. There’s plenty of content. Having a blast catching up.

Thank You
This show has helped me through some dark periods. I lost my job due to COVID-19 and have had difficulty finding another role since, despite 12-14 hours / day sending my resume to recruiters and employers. Listening to the stories helps me to get through writing and editing countless cover letters and tedious, repetitive work. One day, hopefully soon, I will repay you for the hours and hours of stories that have aided in my sanity. I appreciate all of you who work so hard to produce excellent content.

One Star for all the 2 min releases.
Please find another way to release tracks. Don’t spam my feed with 2 minute “teaser” releases. 1 star - do better.

You lost me.
I look to podcast with well performing voice actors to get away from every day stuff. I’m over the virtue signaling stories. The guy’s son is now Abigail? Yeah, I quit. Call me whatever you want, but I can’t escape this nonsense in any media forms. There’s no way you honestly believe that the majority of people have bought into this child abusing and dangerous-life changing garbage. Twitter is halfway full of bots! Not real people. Stop buying the lie and do stories that normal and well balanced people want to hear. Bye.

Wickedly Awesome
I Love this podcast. There are so many different writers so every story takes you to a different world.I have to admit I don’t always listen to the authors interviews but those are great to especially for people who may want to become writers too.

Please consider the listener
Please work on your format. Opening with ads and studio preamble is all fine, but when it's past the ten minute mark and your reader is just doing a self introduction, i dip. Cast and crew bios go at the end, folks.
Not-fun
Great horror podcast
I love horror podcasts and this is one I’ve started listening to daily. Even signed up for the Patreon bonuses. Worth listening to and I love The Librarian. The Private Collector is my fave series In the show

Awesome show
Love the new format, I was never a fan of the librarian bit,

Ok except when woke
The latest episode is a catastrophe. Why in the world you feel like you have to ruin good horror with woke virtue signaling is beyond me. Keep the ivory towers, woke crap out. Go woke, go broke.

My favorite.
Absolutely am enthralled with this show and heartbroken with the end of TPC. I have become addicted to it, and I’m sad that the Librarian had to move on. I’m sure that Frank will do what needs to be done, though. Thank you all for this wonderfully amazing podcast.

Get ready to shiver
Wonderfully wicked tales told so well. Voicing of these short stories sweeps you into their nightmares.

I like horror
Yet the latest podcast creator to pander to a small group of complainers and to virtue signal to the masses. If you want to change the world, make a good show in the theme of the show. Allow people an escape from the drumming of sociopolitical messaging that is so pervasive it has in itself become life. Entertain and add joy.

#Scary #Amazing
Love this podcast! All involved are so amazing. Even got a chance to meet a couple of years ago and even in person they are all amazing! If you aren’t listening to this podcast then you’re missing out on some amazing tales.

Compelling voice work
Do I hear Daniel Foytik elsewhere? Yes or no I want to hear more. Nice work. Nice voice.

Thank you
I just started listening to this one and have found narrators that I live from other podcast. I appreciate the hard work and the fact that there’s kind intro music too. Have a blessed day!

I love ❤️ the creativity of TWL; and TPC
I have been listening to TWL for quite a few years now. I thoroughly enjoy the varied authors. I have always been a fan of Daniel Foytek’s voice, narration, and writing. I have also been a great fan of Graham Rowatt’s voice acting (The No Sleep Podcast, and more recently The Grey Rooms, as well as roles he’s had in so many other podcasts). However, Mr. Foytek’s voice and style as Old Frank Enfield [to me] is absolutely perfect. I believe Mr. Foytek has had private events that prohibits him from continuing as Frank Enfield. I just need to get used to Mr. Rowatt voicing Enfield. I had financially contributed to The Wicked Library for several years. I wish I had more money to support the wonderful writers, actors, producers, etc. I switched to support The Lift or Victoria’s Lift to spread my finances to other podcasts. But TWL really has quite a full library from years of producing the podcast. If you like TWL, I strongly recommend that you help with some financial support and get access to the years of well written and wonderfully narrated stories that you’ll agree shouldn’t be lost or overlooked. I know I’m too wordy. So, bottom line: Don’t miss out! Become a Patreon supporter if you can and take a listen to all you’ve been missing! Laura L.

Falling Short
I am a Patreon member for the podcast, and have been for almost a year, mainly paying so I can get TPC episodes earlier than the free level...however, as much as I love Graham Rowat from NoSleep and others, he is not a great replacement for Frank Enfield. DV did a great job, so not sure for the need for replacement. Also, the episodes and release dates have really been pretty erratic. I’ll keep this at 5 stars, and continue to send in my $5/month, but I hope things level out and get better soon!

Women in horror
With black people so underrepresented in the horror genre it’s curios and tone deaf that you would choose black history month to showcase women in horror rather than dedicating space to black people in horror. I’m not saying women shouldn’t be represented but black history month isn’t the time when other demographics are more underrepresented.

Love!
I love listening to the stories told on this show! With excellent story selection, amazing voice actors and sound quality, I don’t think many other productions compare. Thank you Wicked Library!
Jennyjenn959
New Frank Enfield voice.
TPC 203 sounds like the it’s being read straight from a script. Frank Enfield’s new voice loses all the grit and atmosphere the original voice actor created. Franks new voice is too sterile.
Andrewthb
One of the best horror fiction podcasts.
Excellent narration, great stories, and enlightening interviews with the authors. I have no complaints.

I found the perfect podcast
Dear the library, I actually love these stories and I can’t really get enough of your library. Your voice is incredible music spot on plus this is way better than cuddling up with a real book. I have to say this is awesome. sincerely, Hatchlover

Best library around
Great stories and audio, once I started listening I couldn’t stop. Even while at work or at home. I look forward to every new release and also love hearing Victoria’s tales on The Lift. Please keep up the great work! From: The kiddie in the back

Top Notch Audio Anthology of Horror
Do you want new stories of horror from minds creating today? Look no further than here. Stop and listen, and don’t be too afraid to shiver. Excellent audio quality and craft from the writers. I love the Library!

The private collectors story’s (TPC)
The story’s about Frank Enfield under the title, The Private Collector are epic and stretch into the realm of the dark and other worldly. A place we think we want to glimpse for our selves. TPC could be its own separate pod and I would be left wanting more every time a story ends like I am now expect I wouldn’t have to wait months between episodes. I can’t get enough please consider putting out weekly TPC episodes. The other story’s are good to

Fantastic horror stories.
Although another podcast series introduced me to horror story podcasts this one quickly became one of my favorites as well. The stories are awesome and range in the type of horror they are. The intro is still not old despite listening to it dozens of times. They have some great readers ( I guess I don’t know the official title of that job) and the music is really good to that accompanies the stories. I highly recommend it.

Not a member yet but soon will be
I listen at night to help me sleep. It works. The problem if you wanna call it that is I wake up in a panic/ nightmare/disoriented state of reality. So what is happening to me while I’m asleep but still listening? Must be the black rip.

Is a must to listen too!
Sound, voice, storytelling, and tone are wickedly great! I’ve been listening to The Wicked Library for about a year now and each story has a different twist or theme that keeps you interested. The Wicked library and its other podcast The Lift are both of the highest quality not just as a horror podcast but as a great podcast in general.

No contract required
I didn’t have to click to agree to any terms & conditions in order to subscribe to this podcast. So whatever contract this host is talking about, it doesn’t apply to me. And since you know that you can’t make anybody leave, why bother with virtue signaling?

For lovers of horror
Fantastic podcast! Thanks so much for keeping this going! Tons of back catalogued material and was so happy to hear the newest one with Jesse Cornett. Really good stuff.

Totally dig it!
Amazing horror podcast. I’ve binged about 20 episodes so far and am sooo excited there are so many more.

Carol’s Christmas
This is the sort of story that has you side glancing your neighbor, wondering what they are hiding. Riveting, leaves room for imagery, and the perfect Southern charm gives the narrator extra oomph! Highly recommend!

Top Tier Podcast
I love horror podcasts, I don’t know what took me so long to find this one but I’ve been listening to it everyday and won’t stop until I’m all caught up. IF YOU LIKE TERRIFYING STORIES THIS PODCAST IS FOR YOU. Great stuff!

Amazing!
I've been binging this podcast for a few weeks now... there is just not enough time in the day! There are days that my job requires me to stay plastered to my computer and this podcast has made that to be not so bad... thank you! Keep up the amazing work :)

Excellent Podcast
The Wicked Library is an excellent pod. It has diverse and well written stories, talented voice actors, a interesting writer interviews following most episodes. Give it a try, and you won’t be disappointed.
My Fake Name is Taken too
Good stories annoying after story chats
The stories are decent but the banter after the stories with the authors is boring and I always skip it. No one cares about what you were thinking when you wrote the story guys. We just want to listen to the actual story. Not long drawn out banter.

Wonderfully spooky
I have always been intrigued by horror however I am squeamish and very easily frightened. That being said, I am ADDICTED to this podcast and the Lift. The stories are creative, enthralling, immersive, and of course spooky. This has been the PERFECT way for me to get my horror fix without being overwhelmed by the visuals of a movie. Thank you SO much for creating such a wonderful podcast. It makes my workday and commute much much more entertaining.

Awful
I can’t deal with the narrator’s terrible voice and awful laughter. It’s like nails on a chalkboard. Some of the stories might be good but I’ll never know because it’s impossible to listen to that voice.

Amazing delightful horror
I found the Wicked library about a month ago and I must say it is amazing lots of twisted tales I absolutely love the librarian and his niece Victoria is absolutely devious and clever as well thank you so much you’re all evil mad geniuses

If you're looking for a high quality horror fiction podcast you need to check this one out
I recently discovered this genre of podcasts and started off by binging all of the no sleep podcast. I had a hard time finding a podcast of similar quality to listen to next and was excited to discover The Wicked Library. The background music and sound engineering are awesome and the stories are consistently well written. Highly recommend check this out!

Host “Librarian” is Awful
The host is unlistenable for me. I cannot get past his speech impediment. Along with the fact that he pronounces his L’s as D’s, such as “pode” instead of pulled. All of this wouldn’t be so noticeable if he didn’t talk so much. He should really give a brief intro and let the talented voice actors take over. What a waste of the wonderful Addison Peacock!
bigkitty7
Boring. Not scary whatsoever
Disappointed. If youre not the audio book type who can stay focused during a monotone reading, you’ll forget you’re even listening to anything in about a minute.

The Librarian is awesome
Love the Private Collector arc and the stories told. Very reminiscent of Tales from the Crypt, keep it up! So good
