A thoughtful, concise and informative podcast. Count me in as a fan. The talks are timely and even a reasonably educated layman can understand the points Bill and Scott are making. A big plus: 30 or so minutes per podcast - very easy to digest!

I really appreciate this show, and I find it to be highly educational. I’m certainly a fan of Bill. I also find H. Andrew Schwartz to be the secret sauce that makes this podcast flow. Emily is also a powerful contributor. This is a crucial content area where we need more informed discussion like this, and Bill and Scott never disappoint. It’s always a good listen.

Bill & Scott #1 fangirl here. This podcast is by far my favorite. Thank you to the team at CSIS for putting together this phenomenal content. No other podcast does this good a job of translating policy into real world impacts.

Awesome podcast. The trade guys are VERY knowledgeable and they know how to educate an audience while entertaining it!

Expert and funny analysis of topical trade news. Indispensable.

This podcast is the best trade policy podcast out there. Scott and Bill are not only a well of knowledge on the topic, but it’s the way both interact and narrate the discussion that’s addictive. You play one episode, which is is usually ~ 20-30 min, and you don’t event know when the time fly. I was also part of their crush course on trade policy and I definitely recommend anyone interested to take it.

My husband and I are big fans of The Trade Guys and listen to every episode. However, we find this current replacement for Andrew make it virtually impossible to listen. Her “little girl/baby voice” just doesn’t work. I’m all for giving women an opportunity, but this one is hurting the podcast.

The perfect podcast for new learners in the sector as well as more experienced people as well in order to grasp the current conversations in the industry!

They did give me a good laugh when they called Biden a foreign policy expert who knew China. Free trade and economic capitulation is their mantra.

Nasty Attitudes

The Trade Guys brings down-to-earth a balance of technical, economic, and political aspects of trade. They cover items in the news, like the trade restrictions and tariffs of early 2020, and both explain the true impact as well as the economic implications. Importantly, they bring great guests and I love the banter and personalities- makes this a joy to hear each week!!

Great guests. The host is operating on the level of a 6th grader in every way, with seemingly no background in international affairs or trade.
