Ok I tried listening to these guys again after a few years-sorry ti say I didn’t make it halfway through the first episode from the new WS show. They still sound like an old married couple, every other sentence is a dispute over accuracy or each being corrected by the other. I’m out, can’t do it

I’m so mad that I had to go through soo many walking dead podcasts before I found this one! This is the very best walking dead podcast, hands down. I prefer the scene by scene talk through format. They do a great job breaking it down. I’ve went back and listened to all the seasons!!! I was late to the TWD didn’t start watching until 2019. This past year I started a rewatch and wanted a good podcast to listen along with. This podcast did not come up in my original search… I stumbled upon it only after listening to 3 others. I hope the review helps it get found easier.

I’m currently 20. I’ve watched TWD since I was 10 😂. And have watched it through multiple times admittedly. i caught up with some other rewatch pods and then realized i’ve never looked for one of my favorite shows of all time and found y’all. Currently starting ep. #56 S2 ep. 1 and can’t wait to binge the rest 😂😂

You have a great podcast but have to disagree with you on the dawn of the dead review. Maybe Sydney didn’t have to mention the redemption aspect but that said the movie was still great. To me the movie was meant to just be entertaining, not pulled apart (no pun attended lol). I can understand seeing a movie again years later and seeing more flaws In it but dawn stands the test of time for me. Have you ever seen the bonus clip (Andy’s gun shop). They show Andy trying to survive. good stuff

Chris and Jason do a fantastic job and I look forward to each episode! While I only watch the main show, I listen to every episode they produce because this podcast brings me so much joy and entertainment. Thank you guys!

I found this podcast a couple of years ago and subscribed immediately. Since then, during show breaks (and Lockdown) I’ve listened to their old episodes and honestly just love Chris and Jason. That they were podcasting about the show BEFORE it even premiered gives them gravitas, their obvious love for the show makes them so fun to listen to. Even their season 8 coverage was great (and season 8 of the show was THE WORST)! Give these guys a chance. You won’t regret it.

Just found this pod around the series finale of World Beyond and loved it. I’ve since gone back and started listening to old episodes. So fun to hear some of their theories that were spot on and some that totally missed the mark. I’ll keep listening to new and old episodes.

This really is my favorite podcast (in general, not just for The Walking Dead). I highly recommend to anyone who likes smart banter and who either still likes the Walking Dead, hate watches it, or gave up on it a long time ago but is curious about what's happening. They do detailed recaps to the point where people who just can't handle the show anymore listen partly to keep up but mostly because they guys are entertaining. And they are entertaining, in fact, by just being themselves: two smart guys who break down the show, tell anecdotes, and welcome listener feedback about the show's episodes. They also cover the various Walking Dead spinoffs, plus random on brand stuff after a season wraps up. Keep up the great work, guys!

My favorite thing about the podcast is that these guys don’t make excuses for the stupidity in the episodes. This is an amazing podcast and the honesty from the hosts makes this a must-listen. Great job guys.

If you want a lighthearted and extremely funny podcast with two intelligent (and goofy) hosts that try, nay force themselves, to continue watching awful television like Fear the Walking Dead & the very subpar Walking Dead. So amusing listening to their “aside” conversations & Chris trying to justify the nonsense that is the Waling Dead franchise now. Keep it up guys, y’all are awesome!! If it wasn’t for Chris & Jason, AMC would have lost another viewer!!! AMC should start cutting y’all checks😜! These guys are still some dudes😎

Been listening for years. Feel like I know these guys!

I’ve been listening for almost two years, but Jason has become too annoying. I’m not even a conservative, but good lord keep your liberal politics to yourself. On their most recent Season 10 finale episode, Jason was whining about how Chris shouldn’t say “garbage men” picked up his trash that morning, because “not all garbage workers are men, there could be women toooooo!” I mean, really? Does your arm hurt from patting yourself on the back so much?

I have never met Chris and Jason, but I like them better than many of my friends. I have been listening since the beginning. The TV show has gone up and down, but this podcast has always been great. It makes my week.

It’s a weekly pleasure of mine to listen to the both of you break down the show. It has been amazing following your journey along with the rest of us. I feel like weekly I get to hangout with my buddies and breakdown one of our favorite shows. Thanks for all of the time you both put into entertaining so many of us and distracting from this ridiculous time of the world we are living through. Thanks! I’d give you more stars if I could.

It's true, you don't need to have seen the tv shows or movies to enjoy the discussions and reviews. Even when I temporarily stopped watching the Walking Dead universe shows, I continued to listen to these two guys. I totally recommend.

I am a huge Walking Dead fan but still relatively new to podcasts. I came across this podcast and decided to subscribe....so this guy Jason LITERALLY takes up half the podcast talking about his kid Jasper or his work or his wife or his credit card he lost BLAH BLAH BLAH. if you don’t have enough content to make this podcast over an hour please just make it shorter. I couldn’t care less about Jason’s life and quite frankly it’s irritating to have to keep listening to him interrupt the other host to insert an incredibly long and unwanted monologue in the middle of a sentence that is supposed to be about TWD.

Just FYI The Outsider has a part 2 or a continuation in Steven Kings If it Bleeds. Bonny battles another Outsider it a short story format. Keep up the great work 🤘🏽

I never knew how great a podcast could be until I stumbled across this one. The vibe is fantastic and has me laughing like crazy as I listen while driving to work. I could not imagine listening to anyone else besides you too going through the episode breakdowns, giving your take on things and providing fandom facts/feedback. You guys do an awesome job! Keep it up! The only I would change is - to have more episodes per week :-)

I really enjoy the perspective of both hosts. However, I’m not particularly crazy about the new Fear format. I’ve noticed that certain scenes and plot points go totally unnoticed or even mentioned.

I found this podcast last season and enjoyed it so much I am going to the beginning to listen from the start. On episode 50, I love the progression of podcast and it’s fun to hear early predictions, knowing what we all know now. Great format and Chris and Jason are a terrific duo. Keep on keeping on guys, you have another huge fan!

I began binge watching TWD when it was already in the 8th season. I started from the beginning but just needed more! I found Chris and Jason’s Talking Dead podcast and I loved listening to them critique the episodes and the other listener feedback-so much fun. They helped me get through the dark days of Negan and I came out the other side thankful I had stayed. With season 9 TWD is back in rare form and of course I’m enjoying it much more because of the Talking Dead podcast. Thanks Chris, thanks Jason!

They spoil other shows, ramble about unrelated nonsense, and offer few insights into The Walking Dead. I tried to tolerate them for years, but Jason finally broke me. Done with these clowns.

This show has been a staple of mine for a long time , in fact the reason I continue to watch TWD is so I can hear the lads . Im planning on a full rewatch , just so I can listen to every episode again. Chris fantastic recaps and Jasons's off beat humor is a great combo. Honest fans, theyll let you know if things are good or bad ,( especially with weapon use )) but will never hate .. Thanks for all the good times and if you love tangents this pod is for you.

I love the format of this show. They recap the episodes scene by scene and discuss all the aspects. I’ve been listening to these two for a long time and they feel like old friends now.
