Great inspirational stories that give hope and courage in this pandemic ,Thank you for your program

Inspirational, educational, entertaining!

The stories are interesting and inspirational. Loved the angle of not revealing the name until the end. Definitely appreciate having some short length podcasts to enjoy that fit well into my available timeframes. Unfortunately, must now unsubscribe the more and more the Hollywood elitist and ill informed narrator Jeffrey Wright comments against the country publicly.

This show is really fun and reminds of listening to Paul Harvey’s The Rest of the Story with my dad when I was a kid. Great writing, great talent (Jeffrey Wright!!), and the perfect length make these inspiring stories truly bingeable.

Concise and engaging, each episode is a short but inspiring journey into some of our greatest thinkers and doers. I feel like I’ve watched an inspiring biopic after listening- a great way to energize and recharge your own passions!

I’m a pretty big fan of this podcast and was actually a little surprised when they switched out Chad for Julia(sorry if I got the name wrong, but it’s the person who took over reading the stories). I can’t really follow along with her as well as with Chad. For me I connected well with Chad for a couple of reasons. Chad has more passion in his voice when he reads and I can follow along just fine when I am driving/listening. Julia kind of just reads it, which is fine, but I tune out more frequently when she is reading. I don’t feel any passion in her voice when she reads. Secondly I never hear Julia talk in the after shows so I never get to get a good feel of who she is as a person. Whereas Chad is in almost all of the after shows and I can listen to what he has to say about in the podcasts before. Maybe if you guys introduce her more in the after shows I might get a better feel for her and continue listening, but if Chad doesn’t come back I probably won’t be listening to this podcast anymore.

As I shook my head in wonder at the end of each story, I felt inspiration enter and fill me to overflowing. I had to share more than once, which I never do. This is the good stuff. The Story is making the world a better place. I know of no higher compliment. That’s why we are here, that’s the meaning of life. Btw, great writing-so smoothly structured, it’s like gripping drama. Excellent sound design and production, noticeably superior. I offer you ‘mil gracias’ for your outstanding work, and wish you endless success.

Ive been following the mission daily for a while now and really enjoying it. Can't wait to dive deeper into this podcast as well.

Amazing historical lessons in every episode!

Hearing the stories that are portrayed in this podcast are breathtaking, moving and inspiring. These stories give me the confidence I need to pursue my career as an army nurse. A must listen for everyone who wants to improve themselves.

I felt patronized by having a guy tell motivational stories about women, and then add at the end “what will YOUR story be?” - I mean really? Isn’t this a big piece of what’s wrong with our patriarchy in a nutshell? Women don’t need to schooled by men about what’s important in their or other women’s work. 2 stars for the cool story about the Spanx, which, btw, did not change the world even though it’s a great product.

I absolutely love these! I am going through a tough period in my life do to another layoff. These stories are so inspirational, they are really helping me. Thank you!!!

I found this podcast on a google search “ good podcast “. Love the stories it’s very inspirational. Also the bonus episodes are very helpful.

So well written. So well read. I have cried during one too many episodes overcome with emotion from what the human spirit can endure and still rise to. Thank you for the inspiration. Thank you for contributing to what I feel is proper education. All these stories should be added to history classes in all schools.

“The Story” is a really cool concept for a podcast. They are short, inspirational stories where you here a hero’s journey, and then at the end you find out who the historical figure is. The episodes are short, told well and inspiring to listen too. I’ve listened to three so far, and am excited to listen to more!

I love the way these stories are told. Each episode features an amazing (but maybe not frequently talked about) woman. But, they don’t tell you who’s story it is right away. So as the story continues you’re learning more and more, trying to figure out who it could be. I love these short little episodes. Highly recommend.

I listen on my way to work and use it to motivate me and keep following my dreams! Great way to get some perspective.

I love listening to The Story because it allows me to actively learn while participating. It provides a way for listeners to gain information and start assembling the whole puzzle. I’m always trying to guess who it is before they reveal it. I haven’t been disappointed yet!

What a great motivator! So many trials and hardships to overcome. The stand-up comedy routine was enough to make anyone quake in their boots, but the self-education gained could not be measured. I was one of those people who avoided anything related to history, but The Story has made me a fan. Now I feel I can relate better to historical figures, and have found a growing interest in history. 5 stars!

I was just captivated by Chad's recent episode of the story of Suzanne Collins, the creator of the epic series--The Hunger Games. I had no idea of the breadth and depth of her wisdom and true vision for this body of work--exposing the truth about war--and the fact that in the history of mankind war is almost never justified but always promoted as needed for our survival. The big lie of our civilization of course. What a splendid show, Chad, and wish you continuing success.

Usually history lessons and biographies bore me to tears, however, The Story is able to take me on a journey in almost a personal way. They hit the heart strings and bring the realities of these amazing people to life in a way that is really captivating. I have learned so much and my point of view of the world has been expanded by this short but great Podcast! I am excited to continue listening.

These stories are such a great way to start or end my day on my commute. Fun, engaging, and inspirational. I like trying to figure out who the trailblazer is before the big reveal too!

Entertaining, inspiring and really enjoy the format - how the identity of the woman is reveled at the end.

At first glance this didn't look like something I'd be interested in. But wow was I wrong. I started listening and couldn't stop. I listened to all of the available episodes one after the other. I'm inspired. Truly inspired. The stories are concise and follow a clear story line. I love that they let the story progress with the identity of the main character a mystery until near the end. It's fun trying to guess their name. Who knew such amazing women had such normal stories?! I can't stop saying it, I'm inspired. I've subscribed and can't wait for the future episodes.

Because in doing so, you'll build a vast vocaubular for overcoming incredible odds. Listening to this podcast will help you do the same. Great stories. Great fuel for life.
