This podcast was such a blessing to us and we really miss it! McKenzie is a truly gifted reader and the weekly content is so rich and full of history, truth and beauty.

Is there another podcast that is similar? My kids and I enjoyed it so much and it was always part of our morning.

One of my favorite podcasts! We listen every morning during breakfast. Such an enjoyable way to ease into our school day. Mackenzie reads beautifully and so do the kids! We listened to Week 1 every morning this week and my 1 year old smiles every time during the Oberon speech! Great selections and great presentation! We are also very much enjoying The Wizard of Oz!

We listen every day at breakfast and even my 4 year has learned to recite poems and Shakespeare! (His older sister’s made him pretend to be Romeo:). I don’t review the material with them or make them practice recitation- they just do! From listening once a day- that’s it! And I’m loving learning right along with them. Highly recommend.

My children and I absolutely love this podcast! It is full of great stories to listen to, especially while we travel. The memory work is great for even young children and I am learning things right along with my children that I definitely never learned in school.

We listened to this four days last week and my three kids are all independently quoting Shakespeare and Robert Frost! I’ve been teaching nine years and I am amazed at the efficacy of this podcast. Furthermore, my reluctant reader sat for an hour with a copy of The Wizard of Oz reading along with the podcast! This is an excellent resource!

This has been the perfect start to our days and the starter of great conversations during dinner. My kids are ages 12 years to 8 months...by the time we had listened for two weeks, even my two year old walked around saying lines from Robert Frosts poem. Thank you. Wonderful stuff!!

I Love Love Love this podcast! I’ve been wanting for a long time to incorporate more poetry and add Shakespeare to our school days. What a joy to have this to listen to over breakfast. Such a wonderful way to start our day! The few minute segment covers scripture, poetry, Shakespeare, and history! And the kids reading the poems are so precious!

Reading aloud is a value in our home, but I like to eat at lunch too! Mackenzie’s wonderful reading is something we all look forward to. A wonderful resource for any family.

My 6 year old daughter brought tears to my eyes this Thanksgiving as she recited “The Road Not Taken” and a passage from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with great feeling and intonation to boot. The best part; we didn’t work at this at all. We simply listened to The Same Page for a month, about 5 minutes a day, and she picked it up. It was totally awesome. I also have memorized these things, which is fun for me. This podcast truly focuses on “whatever is lovely”. Thank you!!!

My three kids absolutely love this podcast! We listen to the literature episodes in the car on the way to after school activities and the core memory work at the breakfast table. We have incorporated the passages into our copywork also, and the lit podcast has inspired a new viewing of the movie plus an Oz party this week! I just found this podcast last week after listening to a Brave Writer podcast. I am so happy I found it. My daughter who is 11 said she was allergic to audio books until last week! She adored all the wonderful voice work. My boys are 6&8 also love it and I am so surprised at how quickly they are learning the core memory work! I love the Bible verses, poetry and President info in core work. I feel like you have made it so easy for me to fit it in our school day and it’s pure joy! We’ve been listening to this podcast daily at breakfast. It’s a great way to start our day off on “The Same Page.” We homeschool some of our kids and send another to a public school special ed program. They all love it. The three year old begs for Shakespeare multiple times a day, I just caught the four year old marching around the house babbling nonsense in iambic pentameter, one six year old keeps pointing out “two roads diverging” on hikes, and they all love The Wizard of Oz. I appreciate that we can start our day with a “morning basket” of great thoughts and language even when I’m running around braiding hair and printing papers before the bus comes.

This is the greatest idea!! Love the content of the podcast! Bible, literature, poems and history... oh my!! Seriously the best idea!! My kids (9, 6, 3, and 2months) love the kids voices the best!!
