Since my early days in US Marine Corps aviation when I was appointed the safety supervisor for my squadrons avionics department in the ‘80s to my experience in corporate aviation maintenance so many years later. Blaine’s podcast strives to remind me of the best practices of safety as well as describes new and emerging methods. Give him a listen.

I use to work in the oil and gas industry and talk to the safety managers. They put a lot of emphasis on keeping their employees safe and would shut down a station in no time if need be.

I just enjoyed Blaine Hoffman’s latest episode on OSHA record keeping tips. The show focuses on every aspect of OSHA and the workplace safety tips that help managers effectively understand and manage the all-critial safety of employees. Vital content well presented by an expert. Bravo!

I think the information contained in here can apply to anyone running a business. It is hard to follow all the protocols and regulations...but record keeping is probably the most important! During an inspection, if the records are a mess - then OSHA just digs deeper. But if the paperwork is in order...then "probably" most other things are as well. Keep up the GREAT WORK!
