I love this podcast. I came across this podcast when I desired to bring God closer to me in my everyday life. I have a long drive to and from work each day and listening to music was like background noise while I would overthink and spiral into negative emotions. I have been a follower of Christ my whole life and so I thought “why not listen to a podcast during my drives and better yet grow my relationship with Jesus Christ?”. So now this is the podcast I listen to every day!! There is an episode to help me lean in closer to God for any and all emotions/thoughts that each day brings. I am so thankful that the proverbs 31 ministry has given me this tool in sparking what I feel is a deeper more meaningful relationship with God.

I typically love this podcast, but was shocked at the parenting podcast with Rachel Elmore describing and labeling who would be considered a bad parent and who would be considered a good parent. Along with a description of all the compliments her husband has given her to make sure we all know that she is a good parent! This is so against everything we are supposed to learn from reading the Bible. Judge much? Is this what Jesus would do?

Didn’t know there was a podcast for this ministry, just found it today. I’ve done the Bible study workbooks for a couple years now. Surprised to see enneagram being promoted as something of God with the latest podcast posted. Not sure if this just snuck into the Proverbs 31 ministry or this has been something supported all along. I don’t see this on the ministry’s other socials so it looks like this is an attempt to deceive women with the occult through the podcasts exclusively.

Enneagrams aren’t for Christian’s or really anybody at all

Did you ladies bother to research the enneagram, or just trust one woman who says it’s JuSt a ToOl? Enneagram was founded by a man (occultist) who claims to have achieved this “wisdom” from automatic writing — a way of communicating with the other side. Whether you’re using it as a “tool” or not is irrelevant, when it originates from witchcraft and the occult — which is strictly forbidden in the Bible. What’s next, “Christian” tarot cards, being used as a “tool”? Same principle, just sounds way more absurd when I say it that way, no? Shame on you girls. Promoting a practice derived by communicating with demons is anything but holy. I’m unsubscribing.

I listened to the podcast about the church. How the church should be there when you are going through difficult times. Well, the church has not been there for me. 1st when i was 19 and pregnant 2 when my husband and I we’re going through a difficult time in our marriage 3 currently going through a difficult season. My daughter works at the church. She supports the pastor. She was told that because we are her parents she doesn’t have to like us. no body from the church has reached out to us to support us regardless… i have lost faith in the church but not God. He loves me The church has turned my daughters back on us without knowing our story I will put my hope in God not people. The church is very phony I have had deep church wounding throughout my life. Ive sang in the choir was part of women’s ministry Sorry for the long vent

This was an excellent podcast, and I listen to proverbs 31 regularly. This one is probably my favorite one because so many people had a bad experience with church and that’s why they don’t go back. This gave me lots of good ideas about how to talk with those people gently and compassionately and offer suggestions and also I really like the section on diversity and inclusion because I feel that that is of the most importance. I have felt called as a white heterosexual upper middle-class woman to be in a church that represents all socioeconomic status and races and colors and disabilities and are biblically based. Jesus loves all humans equally, and there were so many good examples about who is going to be at the wedding supper and why we should always make room for everyone’s needs at our celebrations and gatherings. I will re-listen to this podcast because there was so much in it that was valuable thank you Joel for your historical background about the church. That was a great way to begin the podcast.

I have listen to a few over time and have definitely heard wonderful messages, but I finally found one that resonated to my current situation. I love this podcast. P31 has relatable content for women in every stage of spiritual growth. The women aren’t afraid to be real by speaking about topics that may not be discussed in the church as much, i.e mental health. The episodes are short and easy to listen to. I highly suggest this and all other resources from P31

My church had a devotional study about Proverbs 31. That study was heavily impactful on my mindset towards myself, and with God. It was shortly after the study at my church was over, that I discovered this podcast. The women of Proverbs 31 Podcast are always uplifting and applicable. The guests and hosts are always humble and vulnerable and it allows us listeners to truly relate. Every time I’m in a season I can always scroll through their episodes and find something that touches on my heart and reminds me of the goodness of God. It’s also been a good vessel for me to use to share with other girlfriends of mine who are apprehensive bc they’ve only known a God of wrath and this podcast speaks on nothing but our Father of love. It helps those who have a more fearsome identity of God and gives them a better perspective of the real love that God has for us and how badly He wants us to lean on Him during trials bc we are His children and he has promised to love us as our Father. Thank you for this podcast. I truly needed and still need it.

This show has been a way for me to be reminded of God’s promises and goodness at the start of my day. I listen to an episode while finishing my workout at the gym and it has brought so much wisdom that I can walk away with when I step out for my daily tasks. 💜💜 Thank you ladies! 💜💜

I have been listening to these podcasts for a month or so now and I am obsessed. The teachings are relevant to women of all ages and phases of life and provide a new perspective on many topics. Full of Bible teachings and genuine input from the hosts who are vulnerable, fun to listen to, and who make you feel like you are right there with them.

I can’t wait for the new podcasts to air! I commute to work and becoming closer to the Lord through these podcasts (and all of Proverbs31 content) is something I look forward to and enjoy very much!!

I dont write enough reviews for things that changed my perspective, taught me something or made me laugh but these podcasts I have been listening to in the past few weeks have changed my perspective during this challenge called Covid. Yesterday was hard - filled with more disappointment and cancellations and I was mad and full of self pity. Sometimes its easy to let that misery consume and seep to others. Its toxic. I know that, but needed a kick in the pants. Some new ways to reframe my pity and misery to promises and glory. Thank you for getting me back to a place of thanking God. So appreciative. This podcast is an excellent resource if you want to learn about the Bible and be able to relate it to your life. Every episode speaks to me. 10/10 highly recommend.

I just listened to Joel and Lysa talk about how we can disagree as Christians. It was so helpful and I gained godly wisdom from the scriptures they shared about how to respond when we are faced with disagreement, whether it be in a face-to-face conversation over Christmas dinner or on social media or whatever. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who has struggled with how to handle these kinds of situations well. It was wonderful!

Love listening and the content. However, on the above mentioned session, all I can hear is someone’s jewelry. Very distracting. Best practice would be to remove any audible distractions for your listeners.

Super disappointed that you would have a guest on talking up Harry Potter. This quickly let me know that this is not a place for me, or for anyone who is unwilling to compromise Biblical truths to look more like the modern world.

Just listened to the show about the Holy Spirit and was so encouraged to hear how he helps us. The Story that Max Lucado shared about the attorney who helped him release his belongings from customs summed it up for me. I shared it with my husband and said the same thing. I moved from a third world country to the USA. And my life was never happy here. The expectation from anyone is I should. For five years I was trying to find happiness on this place. I stumbled upon this podcast and listened in one episode(“Romanticizing the past…” ) it answered my long time question. My whole perspective changed and I am happy now on where I am. I listened also about the “Parenting” episode when we don’t feel we are good enough as parents and it spoke to me that I shared to my aunt who is having a problem with her teenagers. And it encouraged her so much that she plays it repeatedly to remind her. She also shared it in our family bible study to help out with my other aunts and uncles who are in the same situation. Always timely, life giving, Gospel centric truth

I have read many of Lysa’s books and love her ministry. She has allowed God to use the pain, struggles and trials of her life to glorify Him and edify, heal, and build up those around her. The therapy and theology sessions have been especially helpful to me and I would recommend those highly. But ALL the podcasts are fantastic and so full or truth and wisdom. These are highly recommended! Blessings to all of you for producing this material and thank you!

I love this podcast but I’m giving a 2-star rating for the incessant moaning and “mhmm”’s. It’s extremely distracting and makes me cringe. Please refrain!!! I’ve turned off so many episodes because it’s driving me crazy.

So I’m a busy business owner and mother of two small children. I found this podcast when searching out a way to more easily do my devotion every day that kept me engaged and addressed real life issues that I could relate to. I found that and SO SO MUCH more in this podcast! I write this with misty eyes and a grateful heart for God leading me to this resource! I have so been blessed already.
