Show creator Gary Lucy really came upon an incredible idea for a show here. There's nothing else like it. The way Del's story intertwines with the music, and the way we slowly learn more about him... it's so good. Highly recommended.

The most diverse sounds from any music podcast or playlist, and a bit of post apocalyptic narrative. This is a I-must-download-every episode for all you radio freaks out there.

Gary Lucy is one of the funniest guys around and his humor and deep knowledge of music, especially bands with “regional hits”, makes for a great podcast. The strange but fun narrative through which this podcast is traveling makes it especially unique. I’ve enjoyed every episode so far and look forward to many more.

I love the premise of this podcast and more importantly I love the eclectic taste in music. All types of music, but all good! The through line with Del is also immensely entertaining and so so funny. Reminiscent of MST3K (which is a good thing) and the tunes are an intriguing, eclectic mix that really work together.

Del(Gary Lucy) is slowly creating a universe that lets you understand exactly how much music is woven into our lives. Using humor, an endless menagerie of song, and a storyline that holds everything loosely together, Del takes us through his emotions by way of music, and brings us with him as he tries to figure out exactly what it is that has happened in his world. Nostalgia, discovery, and a good feel for the oddly humorous; don't forget to put on The Ketchup.

Gary Lucy turns out to be the mythical "Last DJ" that Tom Petty sang about. It's not just what he plays, but why. Lucy provides a multi-genre soundtrack that doesn't just accompany your emotions, it brings you closer to them.
