If you like short stories that are sometimes spooky but always entertaining then look no further. Even though at the time I write this it appears to have come to a close, this podcast is one I’ve listened to many times. Each narrator is perfect for their tale and the production is flawless. You can pick any episode and just jump right in.

I need more I liked it but I want more chills down my spine

I love love love these stories, I grew up in Texas and really miss hearin the old southern ghost stories. I’ve listened to all your episodes like a hundred times and they never get old, just wish y’all were still posting new content

With more material this could be the best anthology podcast

Not only do I keep coming back to hear more, but the stories are appropriate and captivating for my children as well. We all look forward to each new story! This podcast is BY FAR the best storytelling podcast for the whole family. The southern theme and narrator’s presentation of the stories are the best!

As a southern girl I love a good bedtime story! These are so good and the narrators are top notch. I wish they were still recording more.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. Genuine, American folklore, originating from the south. It is told with home style charm and features a mix of regional voice talent and ambient sound effects. My only issue is I would love more, and there doesn’t seem to be any new episodes.

More please!!! I love the short stories

This was categorized as “horror” when in fact it’s “cringe”. The type of cringe that’s felt watching an American Idol contestant who’s never been told the truth about their singing. It’s difficult to invest oneself in the story, when the reading is so over the top, melodramatic. Maybe at some point in time, this type of performance was considered scary, but when heard through modern ears, it’s more like a subplot to Murder She Wrote. If you’re looking for true horror, I recommend the Knifepoint Horror podcast..

Amazing stories from the American South. Really excellent podcast.

I have been looking and looking and looking for a podcast with the best scary stories, best storytellers, trying to find something to ACTUALLY scare me. Among the dozens of podcasts that I’ve listened to, I have had very minimal success....until now. This one is easily the best one out there. We want more!

A very well-produced podcast with lots of texture and spookiness. Eerie southern ghost stories and folk tales - very fun!

These are short and sweet stories that are sure to please.

They definitely need to add more stories! It just stops, maybe they don’t do it anymore however they should. But the stories on there are cool and ghostly.

This show is refreshing with its varied, unique stories. There are some real gems.

This podcast is so amazing. I have been listening to many different paranormal and folklore podcasts this is one of the best folklore podcasts I've come across. The style of storytelling and writing reminds me of growing up with books on tape. So glad there are people out there immortalizing the truly most interesting part of America, our connected folklore that exists within each community.

I listen to A LOT of podcasts and am always talking about them. My step daughter asked me about them and I had a hard time suggesting any to her as she is 11 and most podcasts, even story telling or comedy ones are explicit. I was thrilled when I came across this one becuase these are just clean good spooky campfire tales :) Great Audio and production.

This is a great podcast for lovers of storytelling, folklore, and spooky stories. I loved listening to these stories as an adult as well as sharing them with sixth and seventh grade students around Halloween. I hope they keep up the great work.

In a time where podcasts, and radio in general, are over produced and feel so "showy" it can be hard to listen, this is a breath of fresh air. It's like every friend from camp, every cool aunt, and every silly best college friend has come back to you to tell their favorite old time stories. I will never not listen! 100%, keep it up please!

What this podcast turned out to be was not what I expected and I LOVE it. Truly wonderful podcast. Can't wait to binge on all your content :)

My only complaint is that new stories don't come out fast enough.
