Hi Rachael, I’m a long-time listener. I found your show back when you had about 20 episodes. I was recovering from a stroke at the time. Mindfulness was something I was curious about after injury because it was yoga-adjacent and I was not able to do yoga at that time. Learning about mindfulness helped me adapt to my new normal and develop gentler mindset. Your podcast became a valuable part of my recovery. And after all these years, I still feel more grounded and grateful after listening to a Mindful Kind episode. Thank you for sharing yourself, your practice, and insights with the world & me.

I have been listening to Rachael’s podcast for at-least 3 or 4 years now and it is a truly by far the best mindfulness podcast I have discovered. I’m a big advocate for meditation and mindfulness and each episode is filled with very useful tools for integrating mindfulness into your everyday life. Rachael also shares great principles for life in general, with such positivity and kindness towards oneself it really resonates and honestly has changed my life for the better. It’s been especially helpful for remaining grounded during the pandemic as I tune in on my daily walks. Thanks for all you do Rachael and keep up the amazing work!

My weekly calm
I’ve been listening to this podcast for over 2 years. Like so many others in this world, I experienced a dramatic and debilitating increase in anxiety during 2020. These weekly episodes have become a much-appreciated resource for me to learn strategies to overcome my anxiety symptoms. Rachael does a fantastic job with these episodes. I love to listen to them in the morning with a mindful cup of coffee. It helps me find my center and rebalance.

Truly helpful!
I found The Mindful Kind a couple months ago after searching podcasts for helping with work stress. I listened to episode 253 and found Rachael’s tips very helpful and her voice relaxing. I’d heard of mindfulness but never spent time understanding the benefits of it. I decided to start with episode 1 and see where it took me. I’ve binged through over 180 episodes now as I listen on my commute and during my walking breaks at work. Rachael has really opened my eyes to the benefits of mindfulness. I’m trying really hard to utilize mindfulness in my everyday life as often as I can. I honestly feel a sense of peace when I use mindfulness. It’s really helped me reduce my stress at work and improve my outlook. Rachael has a friendly voice and you feel like your listening to a friend. I’ve related with many of her personal experiences as I am also an introvert who loves adventure and nature. I also really related with her comments about spending a vacation focusing on how many days were left instead of the present moment! I will definitely go back and listen to those tips next time my family heads out on a trip. Thanks to Rachael for continuing to put out her podcast each week to support and help so many people around the world. Your kindness is contagious!

Best Daily Habit
This podcast is life changing!!! I started listening to this podcast last fall on my daily walk to class. The episodes are the perfect length for my walk and get me in a good mindset to start my day. Rachael gives great tips and exercises that I can actually implement in my life, which is something I hadn’t gotten from counselors/therapists in the past. While I sometimes get frustrated when I don’t feel the effects from the mindfulness exercises, this podcast gives me hope that I can one day be on the mindfulness path I want to be on.

Anne’s podcast is amazing - her voice is lovely and soothing to listen to and the content is incredible. I seriously look forward to every episode! I was in such a dark, isolated place when I found this podcast. I had just began EMDR therapy for CPTSD at 26 years old and I couldn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. I spent most of my life without any memory of being abused. Only when everything was going well for me the walls came down. I was not equipped to cope and often engaged in self destructive behavior and contemplations of suicide. You’re podcasts were the only thing that seemed to quell my panic attacks at the beginning. What you are saying here is always honest, incredibly introspective, and self aware! I had felt that there were no good people in the world for a while. Now, just knowing that you exist and have the same moral quandaries is so important to me. I live in New York and I found myself surrounded by people that would do anything to gain power or money and it’s just not what I want. I enjoy hearing about your country life and you give me hope and courage to do that for myself one day soon! You inspired me to stand up for being good and kind and it has led me to set better boundaries with people I interact with. A few of my friends have recently thanked me even for inspiring them to be better or more thoughtful people!! I have shared this podcast with so many of them, too. Implementing the tips you share to practice mindfulness has greatly improved my life in the past 6 months even. I have bought your book on audible and enjoy listening to it while I practice self care like yoga, cooking or cleaning up around my apartment. I’m so grateful for the work you do and just can’t say that enough. I just really wanted to thank you for saving my life on more than one occasion. I swear these episodes, and the practical and implementable techniques and tools they suggest, have become as essential to my mental health as physical exercise and therapy. I found this podcast about two months ago while searching for help with anxiety management. I was happy to learn that I already was practicing some mindful techniques without realizing their impact. My Favorite Podcast
I have been trying out different practices to better my mental and physical health over the last few years—from meditation to yoga to living more mindfully. With all of life’s changes, it’s HARD to remain consistent in almost any practice, but the Mindful Kind podcast definitely helps keep me on track and is a reminder that you can begin again and again. I love the short episodes that I can listen to quickly when I just need to ground myself or want to incorporate more mindfulness into my life. I love that Rachael includes episodes on other practices like yoga and meditation that help one with their mindfulness journey. I love her vulnerability and openness with her own journey. She also has a website with all kinds of amazing mindful resources, and an Instagram where you can follow along. And hearing about Moose and Minnie’s adventures are a bonus too!
