2 Days Before the MOST Important Redskins Draft and You Start With the NBA?
Ridiculous. Some self-awareness would be helpful. 2 DAYS BEFORE THE DRAFT! What are you thinking?

Really enjoy the show
I left DC about 6 yrs ago and between that and being a woman, I had to give up on the Washington football team for several years. Now I’m slowly coming back and your show is my road back. Hopefully it will be worth the journey. I’ve really missed the feeling I had for my team for so many years. One suggestion - more Nats! I still manage to watch at least some of about 140+ games a year and I’m always hungry for more Nats coverage and analysis. Can’t wait for them to come to Tampa in June. Thanks again! I listen to every podcast I love the show I don’t agree with all takes but I respect different opinions. Thom, Cooley are great as well, life long Washington Redskins fan and over the years the rest of Washington teams.. my son is lifelong fan as well and he has never seen a good year . I hope that is coming soon thanks

Love the show
Whenever I see a Kevin Sheehan podcast episode whose title begins with "Cooley", it makes my day. Thanks

Love this show
Kevin, you seem to have the same allergy problem that I do. Allegra, Claritin and Zyrtec just don’t do it for me. Try Allegra-D or Claritin-D. The D is the decongestant that gives it an extra kick, similar to Benadryl. You need to go to the pharmacy window to get it though. But my go to is the generic version of Claritin-D from Costco; Kirkland brand AllerClear D, just $4.79 for a 15 day supply. You’re welcome. Oh the show is good too. Five stars.

The draft plan is in front of your eyes
Dear Kevin and Thom Thank you for providing me endlesss joy on long commutes. I have relocated to NY but I continue to suffer Washington sports. Firstly, the Kevin Sheehan show is a welcome escape from the turmoil of our world that mixes bloviation (Kevin) and sharp opinions ( Thom). Secondly, I feel you have somehow missed the obvious draft plan formulated by Adam Peters. I believe reports that Adam Peters had a low grade for Jayden Daniels in 2023. Also, reports suggest Antonio Pierce and Jarod Mayo prefer Jayden Daniels. Therefore, the situation is set for a bidding war. The Patriots will play ball and provide exceptional compensation if they know that LV can leap frog them to draft Jayden. And, Washington still wants to be in the top 5 to pick Drake Maye or JJ McCarthy (or any other QB prospect). Therefore, it seems obvious we will trade the No. 2 pick to New England fans select the preferred QB (not named Jayden) with the No. 3 pick. Keep up the good work and I am happy our prayers have helped Thom (the Oracle) fight his frequent respiratoryillnesses 2 years ago. Thank you!

Podcast Review
Kevin is great at times. But Thom is old and out of touch with the modern sports world, especially now since he can’t write about Dan Snyder any longer. The podcast seriously needs to be spiced up. Instead of doing a POD everyday, try some innovative things. You don’t have to drop a POD just to drop a POD. 3 episodes a week with exciting content is way more than enough especially during the football offseason.

No Tommy
Kevin is the best. Tommy’s schtick is tiresome. Unfortunately I don’t listen when he co hosts.

Come on, man!
I love Kevin and I love the show, but your blind, totally non-objective view of Jayden Daniels is nauseating. You excuse every flaw as unimportant and explain away every negative stat to fit your locked in narrative. You are leading a one man band of people who think that Daniels is the second coming and every other QB not named Williams is miles away. How about pumping the brakes a bit, Sparky?

Excellent, Informative, Great Perspective, and Educating
The Kevin Sheehan pod cast is a mainstay in my daily listening. I take a double dose starting with the show on 980 and then move to the Podcast. I find that I remain well informed, can refine my views on sports issues and personally, I identify with the concentration of football news. And may I add Smoot is an action packed roller coaster ride he’s the best. HOWEVER I have to say I’m with Tommy on the GOT references - I might prefer a good museum or something!!! Lastly I’ve gotten smarter with the Cooley film breakdowns and in fact I now coach youth football semi-competently! Thanks Kevin - keep it coming man!!!

Thom being optimistic?
Love the show but I almost did crash my car when Thom was hyping up the nationals. It’s sad that he’s always down on the Redskins and even sadder that he’s almost always right. He sure did call that fiasco brewing in Virginia over the wizards caps move.

I’m a long time listener to Kevin on radio and podcasts. I enjoy his regular guests (Cooley, Tom Lovero, Howard, etc.). I especially enjoy Doc Walker, but I can’t understand why Kevin keeps him on his “practice squad”, and only calls him up when one of his favorites is injured or absent. Regards, Pat in Manassas

Pontificating on Higher Ed and Labor Unions
Leave it to Kevin & Thom to pontificate on such topics way beyond their areas of expertise. The highlight was Thommy contending that Dartmouth has been conservative for "most of its existence" dating back to 1920. Dartmouth was founded in 1794 so Thom only has 126 years unaccounted for! Keep up the menus of excellence!

Kevin I’ve listened to you since you were doing updates for Tony’s show on 980 and your boys were shoveling his driveway. I think we are pretty much contemporaries. Even though I’m a Northern VA guy who went to St Stephens and UVA, I share your memories of the Heydays. I was at RFK for many games and at Fed Ex for the playoff win against Detroit. I’ve followed your show with Doc, Tommy and Cooley. They were all great. When you left 980 and started the podcast I never missed an episode. Maybe it’s my old age (59) but I’m your demographic. My favorite shows now are you and Tommy. They are the greatest, especially when they have nothing to do with sports. I love your Mob talk as well as kareok. This is a long lead in to The Wire. I am a huge fan of GOT ( sorry Tommy), True Detective, Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy. That said I just started The Wire and am watching season 3. It’s really awesome. You’ve gotta watch it even if Tommy won’t watch Dragons. You guys are the best

Best podcast for DC sports fans
Kevin’s show is very special to me as we’re about the same age (b. 1962) and so his memories of DC sports are my memories. The Mel Grey (non-) catch, the Bullets ‘78 title-winning team, the nightmarish Redskins loss to the Cowboys at the end of the ‘79 season, etc., they’re all there. Kevin and Thom are like an old married couple arguing on the front porch, and it’s can’t miss listening. If only we could bring Ken Beatrice back for one show, perfection would be achieved.

Kevin what a incredible podcast the conversation about the plane crashes was captivating! Didn’t know Thom had a weak stomach the way he reacted lol He’s not strong enough to watch Game of Thrones, he’d puke after Neds beheading ! Great job guys love the show!

Kevin Solo is Football ASMR
Any episode is perfect for the drive home, but Kevin solo is great for getting your ASMR fix. Other episodes are pretty good too, but if you’re looking for that pleasant paresthesia, avoid any episode that features a live read of the Shelly’s Back Room promo.

I disrupted the cereal aisle at Safeway from laughing
This is the best sports podcast for lots of reasons, and I have a new one to add - the dialogue between Thommy and Kevin is hysterical at times. Last night as Kevin described his addiction to apps that coo sweet nothings about cutting your hair and cleaning your ears, I laughed so loud at Thommy’s response of incredulity that everyone in the cereal aisle jumped. Thank you for making my night, but please think about bringing on more female experts on things like psychology, mindset, grit, leadership and emotional contagion because listening to men talk about men could use a bit more perspective to learn about how to draft players, lead others, and thrive under pressure!

Thanks from Sleepless in Annapolis
Hey Kevin and Thom, it’s John Ritter from Annapolis. Just wanted to drop you a review. Kevin, I’ve been listening to your show since you were on with Doc Walker all those years ago. I’ve never called in, hopefully one day I will. In any event, I just wanted to let you guys know that I really enjoy the show and have for over a decade now. Honestly, I have some trouble sleeping similar to Kevin and it’s really helpful to be able to turn the show on when I can’t sleep. I love the takes, I think the skins reporting is great (especially from Kevin) and love Thom also (he’s an acquired taste and I’ve acquired the taste). I don’t like it when you guys argue, but love the dynamic. Please keep it up for years to come.

English 101
Kevin and Thom spin (english!) unique yarns and tales from sports to streaming to songs. I have embraced their English 101 quips as I found myself finishing sentences with Kevin’s emphatic and drawn out, “…as…well.” Yesterday, leaving a meeting, I got up and said, “I’ve got nothing else for ya boss.” Pure Purify Poetry! —SouthpawMR

Great Show. Don’t always Agree but Honest
A bit too harsh on Commanders. But I see your honesty and newfound hope in a team now led by competence at the top. Let’s go get our QB and restart the Gibbs dynasty of old. So Kevin and Thom’s debates can be over how we can get through the Championship game rather than bashing the latest guys ensight committee findings about our owner.

You said teams miss on first round picks 2/3 of the time. Given that logic, nobody knows which of the top three qbs will ultimately succeed. Why trade up? Even if you think you know which one is your guy, clearly you don't. Smart play may be trading down… On withholding judgment for two years… really?!? How about these scenarios? It’s week 12 and they still can’t get a play in on time. They run the swinging gate. They lead the league in personal fouls. Players out of shape / poor conditioning. They are getting creamed but won’t make in game adjustments. Totally predictable play calling. Etc etc etc

It’s time for a Sheehan-Loverro Pact
Kevin, After hearing that the listeners and Thom successfully convinced you to watch Fargo (and you’ve loved it), it’s time for you and Loverro to stop procrastinating and commit to watch the most critically acclaimed suggestions for each other. Can we get a commitment that by this summer, you will watch The Wire and Thom will watch Game of Thrones? It’s time. You’ll both be glad afterwards. Kevin, you may have to watch the first 2-3 episodes with Thom since GoT is a little slow at first. (I was persuaded during the pandemic and like Thom, I wanted nothing to do with dragons, but Thom…you’ll get through it. There are soooo many other storylines that you’ll focus more on them. By the third or fourth episode, you’ll be hooked.) And Kevin, you’ll be hooked almost immediately on The Wire. It’s time. Do it!

Great show
This podcast has awesome content and great guests/co-hosts. The discussions with each of Kevin’s guests are always relevant to what is going on in the sports world and are the best parts of the show. One small issue is with all the talk about Charlie Scott breaking the racial barrier, please remember that Maryland”s Billy Jones was the first African American to play in the ACC. Billy endured a lot and always displayed class.

Do Not Trust His Sponsors (MyBookie)
Kevin is unfortunately advertising for the crooks at my bookie. Do not deposit any money there, they’ll keep it, even if you win. I deposited $200 to bet the Under on the SB. The sign up bonus (Kevindc) matched 50% of that with “bonus funds”. I made my bet specifically not using the “bonus funds”. The bet won. My bookie says, sorry you can’t make a withdrawal until you gamble at least 3K worth of bets. My bookie is a scam, do not deposit your money there. There is a plethora of other online gambling options that will actually pay you. What is so disappointing is Kevin seems like a genuinely good dude, but shilling for this crooked outfit is such a bummer. I won’t be frequenting Shelly’s or Window Nation or any other establishment Kevin recommends. I’d recommend finding more reputable partners. That said, love the show, more Doc, more Cooley, more Timmy. Update: Kevin addressed this review which I appreciate, but misrepresented the situation entirely. If you read the above review, you’ll see I didn’t touch the free bonus. I used my own deposited money to wager with, and mybookie is now holding it hostage. No withdrawals. And no, other sports books do not do that. It’s true, that you cannot withdraw the bonus money, but you are able to withdraw your own deposited money. I know Kevin has an obligation to sell mybookie and I respect that, but this company is trash. Hop on the interwebs and read some reviews about mybookie. It’s bad. Also, there is no app, it’s web based which blows and super limited on props and teasers. All that said, I still love Kevin and wish him all the best. It’s the best Washington based sports show and it’s not even close.

Thommy Purified and D.J. Kevin
The chemistry between Thom and Kevin is unmatched. I am a little worried Thommy Purified won’t make it to the Big Time without Kevin. Thom needs Kevin’s stability to tee up Thom’s curmudgeonly rants on the show. Kevin could probably bring some balance to Thom’s musical act as well. Love you guys

Great show. Jus a quick question/suggestion
Hey kev listener of the podcast since 2016. I love the show. Kinda sad football season is over but with this past season for the commanders, thank god it is. But quick question. Since we’re about to hit the dull days of the offseason is there any content in your vault from the 2012 rg3 season that u have stored away that u could kinda do a retrospective on or kinda relive how u or thom felt around that time on air about the season? Or could u possibly look back on the 7 game winning streak to finish the season from a perspective of current day looking back on those games. I was born in 1995 and that was the first season i truly fell in love with this team. I’ve been a fan since about 2004 but i never really loved the team bcus we didnt win and the offense was never any good. 2012 was the first year of my football fandom where it was truly fun to watch week after week. Sorry to give u a homework assignment lol but i thought itd be fun for not only the listeners but give u more content in this slow period. -Thanks Andre.

Sheehan and Loverro - Best radio/podcast couple
Kevin Sheehan is a great sports commentator , he has indepth, considered knowledge of local football, NBA basketball and college basketball. But the best thing about his podcast is his relationship with Thom. They have a genuine love/hate/love relationship that is a joy to listen to. But enjoy it while you can, this Sammy Panama guy seems legit so Thommy is probably about to be whisked away to a totally different level of stardom. Good luck to you Thom.

Thomas, Thom, Thommy
Over the years we’ve had to stomach Thom’s skepticism of the Washington franchise and initially it rubbed me and many others the wrong way 🤦🏽‍♂️. And a lot of the time, and I hate to admit it, Thom is right about a lot of it. But there are those times, like now, where I think he has too much time to himself and starts thinking of things that are not there, speaking more about how he’s hung up on the Ben Johnson situation. He’s not here Thom and he’s the only one who knew his decision to not be a head coach in Washington or anywhere else for that matter. LET IT GO THOM!!! 😂

Suddenly I have the urge…for lawyers guns and…(A. I.) Magic
What more can be said about the great duo of Kevin and Tommy? Personally, I think Kevin should dip into the deep coffers of the show (😜) and pay to have Tommy on more than twice a week. Really enjoy listening to you guys, especially when the show finishes with a special appearance from Tommy Purify. I have an idea to use my boat for a special Kevin Sheehan Show Fan cruise in Annapolis…which will hopefully go better than the Commanders Fan cruise…shall we call Skipper Dan to lead the voyage? Bon Voyage! PS, I’m one of the guys who bid and won to sit in on a taping at last years Cigars and Curvball fundraiser. Looking forward to doing that one of these days
