I’m a fan of this podcast in general, but as much as I wanted to listen to this episode about H.O.R.D.E., I couldn’t make it through Andy Kahn’s delivery. He’s speeding up his delivery as each sentence builds, and simultaneously not enunciating. The sentence that seems to end with “…the 1990’s” sounds like “the nineteen-nigh”. The cadence is just too unnatural and affected. I regret leaving this comment because it may be taken as negative or unappreciative, but jam-band fans are used to (and skilled at) listening closely, so it follows that they’re more demanding when it comes to podcast hosts in general!

Great work! Inspirational, very informative and well conducted interview w Chick Garvey. One of the coolest things I’ve listed to in a long time!

Top Tier Podcast for Jam Fans
In-depth and personable interviews with the relevant artists of the day. Have discovered more than a few new albums and come away with a wealth of memorable stories delving into this series. One of the best podcasts covering the jam scene today.

Interviewer
Poor guy has about as much energy and as many interesting questions as a bar of old soap. To have the opportunity to interview this many greats and have this fella asking questions is a fallacy for all.

The Steve Gorman Interview Was Excellent
I’ve been listening from the beginning I really thought Andy did a great job with the Steve Gorman interview, he didn’t bother with the basics like everyone who has been interviewing Steve lately but went right in to expert level. Good stuff.

Bustouts
2000+ shows went by before UM busted out the Jane’s cover...what about Good Times Bad Times for Zep. I think the 2007 reunion show “Celebration Day” was the first time the band performed it since its recording!

More Than Just Jam Bands
Its' a great podcast, not only for fans of jam bands, but for the recurring segments like Tour Stories and Don't Quit Your Day Job. Really fun look behind the scenes into modern, touring musicians. The production is excellent as well.

Lovin' the podcast - can't wait for more. The hub and I got our robes this year on the boat - one note: It's the Norwegian JADE.

Love the content, delivery needs polish.
I very much enjoy the content of this podcast, and appreciate the love and hard work that clearly goes into it. However, both hosts, especially AK, would benefit from some work in making their delivery sound less obvious that it’s being read directly from prewritten sources. Natural delivery goes a long way to make a podcast an enjoyable listen.

A Good Start
I've been a long time fan of JamBase, having first discovered the website back in 2007/2008. Ever since then, I've been going on JamBase daily to help keep up with the latest news in the jam band scene. So I was thrilled to hear that JamBase had started a podcast. Overall, this is a good start, but the audio quality could be improved a bit, and the hosts could be a bit more energetic in their delivery. But for the most part, I really enjoyed the first episode and can't wait to listen to the second! Best of luck guys!
