The Heart of It is such a fantastic podcast. I have been watching Estée on YouTube for a long time now. I love her videos, but I was a little reluctant to hear she released her podcast, as so many others have been doing it lately. But, after listening to the first episode I can’t believe I was hesitant about it before. To me, her episodes are like reading a magazine article. Her take on each topic is so fresh. I love how she chooses these amazing people to interview, but still weaves her own voice throughout the episode. Love this podcast and can’t wait for the next season!

My favorite part about this podcast is that Estée doesn't choose guests that are typical for the podcast circuit. They're not the typical experts in their field but unique women who offer a perspective, are experts in their own right, and are also able to tell stories of their lives. The first season is lovely and would recommend to everyone!

I’ve been following Estee’s lifestyle/beauty YouTube channel for a few years now and have been anticipating her podcast for some time. I was delightfully surprised by the production quality of this podcast, I mean she sounds like Katie Courac but she’s still the same Estee we all know and love. The intro song is 👌👌👌, I mean can we just be friends already? It’s refreshing to listen to a podcast from someone I already know and love, who is interested in the same things I am and has my same taste in music. Each episode revolves around a different topic and THEY. ARE. SO. INTERESTING. Even if you don’t know her YouTube channel give this podcast a listen because there isn’t another one like it!

I enjoy Estée's unique evolvement as a beauty youtuber to a lifestyle youtuber. She is a breath of fresh air in what seems to be a cookie cutter generic millennial representation on YouTube. Her book showed not only insight to her life but a insight into her intelligent thoughtful mind. This podcast is the best content to date, with twist and turns in each episodes. She is poignant and well spoken, tackling issues with grace and charm. The best youtuber to podcast in my opinion to date! Congrats Estée!

Estee does a fantastic job of addressing prevalent societal issues from multiple perspectives while remaining respectful. I think my favorite episodes so far have been “Mom” and “Feminism”. I honestly get excited when I get notified that a new podcast has been published. Huge fan!

I find interviews so fascinating, especially when they’re of people not so well known that EVERYBODY knows them. Estee asks really interesting questions and has lots of intriguing side stories and details to go along with the interviews. I particularly liked the tattoo episode because not only did it get me reinvigorated abt the idea of getting a tattoo, but it covered a side of tattoos I’d never even heard about before! Very cool. Estee, I’ve been watching your YouTube videos for..maybe 5 years now and I love everything you come out with—which can’t be said about everyone especially as their “content” changes. YOU GO, GIRL!

Not only is she a wonderful youtuber, but bringing her voice to a podcast in the form of introspective and informative musings, historical backstories, and interviews makes The Heart of It a real gem. Her sense of humor always gets me, and it still shines through here.

I’ve been watching estee on YouTube for a couple years now and when this podcast came out I was so happy because she’s so funny and smart I love listening to it!! Good joe! And congrats!! Love it!!!

I have always loved Estee Lalonde, and have been a follower of hers for years. So when she announced this podcast, I was totally on board to give it a listen. To my surprise, it is so much better than I was expecting (and I already had high hopes). It's so well done, and she does such a great job of interviewing other professionals to really help the listen learn about each topic. But what's more, it's so much deeper than expected! Particularly the Make Up episode is what sold me, I learned so much about the history of makeup instead of just the standard discussions of today. I feel like I'm always walking away with more after listening, and that makes a great podcast to me.

She talks so honestly and as if she's talking to a group of friends or writing a memoir about the things she's experienced. It's a side of her you don't get to see and I love that her scope is about everything feminine. This explores all positive aspects about female identity. Can't wait to hear more!

First of all, I love that Grimes is the intro song. The podcasts are very well done, they really do get at the 'Heart of It.' First podcast was a really good discussion of learning where you stand politically through experience. Second episode had a good message of not letting yourself put yourself in a box, letting yourself do things you thought just "aren't you." Very well put together!! I look forward to hearing more!

This is everything! It's thought provoking, funny, nostalgic and very interesting. Estée is a really good story teller. It's amazing!

I've been a long-time viewer and fan of Estee Lalonde. I was excited to hear that she would be hosting a podcast and it did not disappoint! Estee is so easy to listen to and the topics are interesting and relevant everywhere. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season. It fills the hole that Lena Dunham's Women of The Hour left. Love love love it!!

I’ve found listening to the guests to be the most interesting part of this podcast. The host goes back and forth a lot on their opinion. She says she got a tattoo with no significance behind it really at first and somewhat at a whim, but precedes to say make sure you get something that’s meaningful! A response to an interviewee shouldn't almost always be, “wow!” Not sure how ‘to the heart of things’ she’s gotten with these 2 topics. Sounds superficial. Don’t think I’ll return for the next episode.

I’ve been a YouTube subscriber of Estee’s for many years now and have overall loved her evolution as an individual. I’ve loved this podcast so far (2 episodes released at the time of this review) and her approach to topics that matter most to her. I’m really looking forward to future episodes!

Estee is a wonderful fresh new voice in my podcast feed. She is so insightful, and both of the episodes I've listened to so far have been right up my alley.

I stumbled upon the pilot episode last week and thought it was incredible. I was upset to see that it was the only episode. Upon seeing Estée tweeting that she would be uploading more podcasts I was so excited. I've tried podcasts in the past and never was able to be hooked by one. Estée is so relatable and engaging. Her use of music, sound, stories and interviewing is fantastic. Highly recommend!
