Eww I love Hamilton so much and the host is disrespecting the musical and the whole cast it is the same thing over and over again and again some episodes at good but most are repetitive and she try’s and just make the episode longer

I love this podcast so much because I also love this musical and it is so hard to not love to listen to this podcast.

Your silence proves that you are the “pick me” mean girl that we have all started suspecting. Also, the Hamilcast has been soooooo repetitive and boring for the last couple years.

So incredibly disappointed in this podcaster.

Gillian is a troubling person . It’s not worth listening to someone so two faced.

I can’t with this host. Also, guest sound quality is iffy and having straight, white, cis people give their pronouns before starting is one more virtue signal to add to Gillian’s list.

Host is incredibly unlikable. You’re better off listening listening to literally anything else.

I used to love this podcast. Now the episodes are stale and repetitive. Listen to the first few years. They were great. I also can’t tolerate that the podcast host is complicit and silent about abuse based on the Obsessed Network.

Don’t waste your time or energy, there are better pods about Hamilton with better hosts. Garbage.

I love Hamilton but I have no time for the host. She is complicit in the mistreatment of others. Your silence speaks volumes. You are a coward. If you stand for nothing, what will you fall for?

Gillian’s so funny, the guests are all so sweet, and I’ve learned a lot!

I started listening to Gillian during COVID. Her podcast brought joy to my life and has inspired a deeper love for the theater. During a dark time in the world, this podcast has brought light!

As someone who is very interested in making a career out of music, this podcast only adds to the fun. I love that Gillian has friendships with some of the original cast, it makes it so interesting to hear different stories from people who have helped me build by personality throughout my life as a teen. You really should get Jasmine Cephas Jones on here about Peggy/Maria!

I absolutely love this podcast. I won the lottery 5 times and only got to go once because of personal founding. i once forced my animation professor to rap cabinet battle 2 with me in the middle of class and because I won I got extra credit.

THE BEST!!! I have learned SO much about theater in general (not just Hamilton, but of course Hamilton). I’ve always loved the ‘background people’ but getting to hear from literally EVERYONE from on stage IN the spotlight, to the incredible crews BEHIND that spotlight. The intricacies of each ensemble/swing member, the musicians in the pit. Gillian really does her homework and is able to bring something fresh and new each episode. She’s a true, loving FAN of theater and brings that joy each week! Don’t even get me started on her talented edits! And if you haven’t met the Patreon Peeps yet, you’re missing out (IYKYK)

i am sooooo loving this podcast!!!! the guests are awesome and Gillian does her research so well and asks meaningful questions. love it so so much. i truly look forward to each new guest. i have only seen the show once and i was fairly young so i don’t remember it very well but i still have the playbill and love it when someone from the company that i saw is on the pod. love love love 💛💛

She is not acting cocky about knowing her guests. As someone else rudely said just that in another comment Shame on u 4 the HATEFUL THOUGHTS!!! To all the people I have spoken with…. It sounds more like “she is proud” that she gets to be around such awesome talented people! While the rest of us are the ones jealous, and grateful she does know them, or it would make for a very boring show! IGNORE THE HATERS!!!!!!!

I like the guests on this podcast, but sometimes the host (Gillian, I think?) is very annoying. It seems like she is trying to make the listeners jealous that she is friends with these people. She also seemed like she interrupts the guests sometimes.

This is perfection for theater geeks or just anyone. The conversations are engaging and i love this podcast!

Maybe it is because i am not on social media but I am on the Lin Manuel Miranda and there has been no mention of Bianca for a few episodes. It started when Gillian said that she was away for a wedding and then she changed the part at the end to just her. After that it was just Gillian and no one said anything about Bianca. After episode 67 Chernow chapter stabbed in the dark there was never another Chernow episode that i know of and we have not even gotten to the Reynolds Pamphlet Any way those are my thoughts M. Loving it 40 In so far more to go!

Echoing what so many others have said, this isn't a podcast about Hamilton, its actors, and creators. It's about these particular fans' love for Hamilton. It's 90% the "hosts" gushing over people, interrupting thier guests, their inside jokes with each other, and just repeating themselves over and over again. I'm sad.

So I love Hamilton and my dad said I don’t like but I don’t how and I told my friend to watch it and she said is a musical because I don’t like musicals I’m like how about everyone I know doesn’t like Hamilton I think this podcast is really for me and I really recommend this podcast so how i started to listen to it was I was looking for a new podcast and I saw this and I’m like yes please and when I sleep I love listening to podcast because I love listen to people talk so I was listen and I’m like wam bam yes mame I loveed it so who ever is reading this I and didn’t listen to it yet I hope u listen I really recommend it

this podcast used to be something that i adored, but lately i feel that the quality has gone down. the interviews were more casual and conversational, but i feel that the interviews/interview content are starting to get repetitive. i really miss bianca (what even happened to her? she just disappeared…) and the chernow chapters. i’ll still keep listening but i do hope that some of the old content will be brought back someday.

I love TCO and Hamilton but oh my these hosts are obnoxious and ignorant

I decided to watch Hamilton because of Mary and Blake, and that was the best decision of my life (okay maybe not the BEST, but close enough). I am obsessed with the soundtrack and I am glad to have someone to talk to about this, even if it is just Mary and Blake talking and me listening🤣 definitely recommend!

I used to love this podcast and was even in the fb group for a while. However, I do miss when Bianca was on (along with the chernow chapters which I loved) and there has not been a mention of her in years. As far as the podcast, the constant interruption of guests becomes somewhat annoying very quickly. I also feel like the podcast used to be a fun “hang out” of sorts where I felt like I was with the guests while listening to them. However, I stopped listening because it turned very political very quickly. I acknowledge that this is coming from a privileged place, but I honestly just want to hear about the guests and not necessarily politics, as this was one of my escapes from the crazy world we live in.

You guys are amazing to me. All of my friends don’t like Hamilton and you guys are like friends to me! I only know one person who likes ham but their in Dallas soo. I have to ask you all a question. True Gillian Obsessed!!!!!! All of the guests are so fascinating and Gillian is a true gem. It has replaced my negativity with positivity. Thank you. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH!!! I binged in peak quarantine...cried at just about every episode. I kind of miss it and I may have to binge the whole thing again!!!! How I got interested in Hamilton: My mom saw the musical and came home and started listening to the music. I got interested, and a couple years later I went to New Jersey. My mom said to bring fancy class because we were going to a restaurant. We got lunch at Starbucks. Then, my mom took me over to take a pic in front of the Hamilton sign at the Richard Rogers Theater. Then she said let’s go see it. I was like no way. And then we saw it. Best vacation of my life!!! I also got to go to the M&M factory. I love this podcast! My mom gave an old beat up version of Ron Chernow’s Hamilton, and I started reading. I got to page two, and stoped. This podcast brought me the courage to keep reading. I read a chapter, listen to you summarize. Read a chapter, listen to you summarize. I just started, so still on the first chapter. I just wanted to say thanks for being Hamilton nerds with me!
