Love the fake ads done by cast members and the host MEJ is a natural host and interviewer. Great mix of covering the episode and discussing the show or guest as a whole.

I know I was late to the Good Place party, but I still want to say how much I enjoy and appreciate the love and attention every person involved in its creation poured into it. Including but certainly not limited to this podcast, which is, in its own way, every bit as carefully constructed. Marc Evan Jackson (he played Shawn) is possibly the best podcast host I’ve ever heard. His voice is delectable, his wit sparkles, and through all of it you can feel the genuine love he has for the show and its people. Listening to this podcast, even all these years later, helped me enjoy The Good Place so much more than I did (and it was already a remarkable piece of American network television). This forking show 🥰

I had just finished The Good Place a couple weeks ago and I was looking for a podcast on it. And so, I found this and instantly fell in love with it. This podcast isn’t one of those “non-official” podcasts. This podcast has all the cast with laughs and goes into great detail. I like the beginning when Janet comes in and explains to Michael on what a podcast is. Totally recommend to someone who wants funny, well-organized, and great detailed podcast on a great show you or your family and friends will or love. And, The Good Place is great show to binge. 🖥📽🤣☺️😚😂

Started listening to this well after the show ended and it’s still gold. MEJ is the best host, and the structure of this is perfect. I listen to Office Ladies, Welcome to Our Show, and Parks and Recollection, and this is by far the best. Looking forward to listening to MEJ on the Brooklyn Nine-Nine podcast next

EVERYTHING IS FINE

The Good Place brings me a lot of comfort, and I rewatch it regularly. I didn’t know about this podcast until recently, and listened to it all within a few weeks. It was so fascinating to learn behind the scenes facts. So much great info about special effects, costuming, and writing. Marc Evan Jackson is a brilliant host and it was a legit treat to hear the cast and crew talk about their time on the show. I laughed, I cried, and I’ll probably listen to it all again!

I love this podcast and I love the show. Everyone is upset because the show was canceled, but you can just rewatch it on Netflix.

I love the in depth breakdowns of each episode. It makes me reconsider parts I wouldn’t have otherwise noticed or thought about as being important. I just wish we could have had at least one more season!

Came to the pod cast a year late it seems but I learned a lot about the show and also how awesome Marc is as a host. 5 stars!!

The good place is my second top tv show ever. Found the podcast while at work and decided to listen to it. Marc Evan Jackson did such a great job , i had to binge watch the series again. The frosting on the cake was to learn the director of photography is from the same small town that I grew up in and possibly had even been in the same pharmacy as him when I was younger. How forking cool is that!

This podcast needs to be included with the show’s DVDs!

This is everything you want in a podcast. It’s incredibly detailed and hilariously funny. A tribute to a show that we love and they loved making. Kudos for everyone making themselves available to tell us all the little details. And Marc Evan Jackson, who makes absolutely everything he’s in better, is the consummate host. This is perfect for anyone watching the series for the first time or the hundredth.

I’ve listened to this podcast time and time again. It’s as phenomenal as the show itself. Marc Evan Jackson has a wonderful podcasting voice, and it’s fascinating to hear about the making of every single episode from a variety of angles. This podcast gave me a deeper appreciation for all the minute details that went into every episode of this unusual half-hour of American network television. If you are a fan of The Good Place and enjoy behind the scenes content, I cannot recommend this podcast highly enough.

I binged this podcast when I found it! I’ve tried to get into podcasts before but never quite got the hype. But this one was special! It was so much fun hearing all the behind-the-scenes info from the cast and crew. I felt like I really learned a lot about how the show was made, and the inspiration behind it. I learned more about philosophy as well, and each show ended on such a wonderful, positive note. Marc Evan Jackson was born to host these podcasts; he rocks! I’ve already found and binged the B99 podcast and now I’m going through withdrawals. No more TGP, no more TGP podcasts, no more B99 podcasts (as of now). Please, give us more, MEJ!

First of all, MEJ is hilarious. However the best part of this podcast is his enthusiasm. He is a super fan of the show, and it shows. I love the way he analyzes the themes and talks about the behind the scenes factors that explain how the show is so well done.

I’m not sure my words can express how much this TV show has meant to me. I’ve loved it from day one and my fandom has convinced others to watch and discover it.
