Marlin Yoder and Casey Atwood
Dale’s interviews are always excellent. The last two weeks with Marlin and Casey were really compelling. I feel like both were able to discuss things they would not have been comfortable talking about with just anyone. Being an introvert myself, I can really relate to Casey.

A Voice for Literature
We’ve all heard of somebody having a face for radio, well DJD crew member Andrew Kurkand has a voice for literature. I wish I could say I loved this new version of the show as much as I did years in the past, but sadly without Mike there, it’s taken a step back for me. I find the younger guys to be a little less confrontational to Dale and challenge his opinion far less than Mike so we end up with these “old guy rants” and the kids are just laughing at him. It doesn’t help that Andrew Kurland has one of the most annoying voices I’ve ever heard. I’m sure Mike will never come back so I’ll learn to live with it but I’m looking forward to the day when somebody else takes Andrew’s spot in the studio. All in all the show is still largely entertaining but it really has lost some of its firepower with Mike leaving the show. Sorry Dale. Still love ya. (Wednesday show is still absolutely phenomenal)

Marlin Yoder
I listened this podcast again, Marlin is courageous and very driven. Excellent interview.

DJD Reloaded
1. DJD Reloaded needs to be its own channel/podcast. 2. DJD Reloaded needs to be on YT like it was as of a few weeks ago. I watch as much as I can on YT, DJD Reloaded is the only one that I follow that’s not… And to have to comb through the shows I’ve watched vs the ones that aren’t on YT is annoying.

Bring back Mike Davis
I know he has stepped away to take a more active role in the company but he needs to at least be on the weekend reaction show. The dynamic on Dale and Mike commenting on the race weekend is what kept me entertained. Dull and bored as of late.

Leaving Amish
Wow. I have loved just about all your episodes but this one is in your top 5. Fascinating story! You did an awesome job talking with him and getting him to open up. Keep up the good work!

Marlin Yoder
Loved the Marlin Yoder podcast one of your best ones. So interesting to hear how he got out of the Amish community. He’s a very talented man, and will go far.

Marlin Yoder
Wow! Thank you for having this chat with Marlin. Such an interesting story about an inspiring, courageous and hard-working young man. I am excited to hear about the rest of his journey and see what he will accomplish.

The Perry’s
Man, I had tears rolling down my cheeks listening to that interview with Richard and Kyle. Brought back so many memories. I was born in Daytona in 1964 and I’ve lived here my whole life, and Richard Petty really was the king. Thank you for that.

Improved
Bubba pollard interview was better. Fewer interruptions. Dale still needs another character on the Tuesday show

Missing the old ways
Meh. I liked it better before. The new format isn’t for me. Now I only listen when JR is in his chair. Hopefully it’ll grow on me.

Tom Dooley
Hang Down Your Head, Tom Dooley is old folk song. (1958). Your older fans, like me, used to hear this as a youngster. Js. Love you though. I MISS MIKE DAVIS! Please let him sit in on a show soon! Thank you!

A Beer and a Chase-r!
If you didn’t like Chase Elliott before his interview on DJD (and who didn’t), you will now. This was by no means dynamic or riveting, but it was more akin to two guys at the bar sharing stories. That’s what made it so powerful. Dale has a way of just talking with people and not interviewing them. He makes his guests feel comfortable even when talking about uncomfortable things. Chase is very hard on himself, but Dale was able to bring out the hope and joy that Chase rarely shows to the media. This show is such a welcomed distraction from taking care of my mother with dementia. I am so blessed to be able to listen every week. Thank you Dirty Mo Media for all you do that you don’t even realize.

Thursday shows aren't good
I understand that you're experimenting with your Thursday production (based upon the rotating hosts/guests). But the Thursday shows are a significant downgrade from last year.

Love the show and have a request
I’ve been listening to the DJD for years and it is always interesting. I love the interviews because y’all have a way of getting people to talk. Now the request…can you use that magical talent of pulling info (and truth) out of people and bring in someone from Goodyear to discuss tires? Seems like a good time to do that given the Bristol race tonight. I’m not sure I think this was all on Goodyear, but would like their perspective on the race as well as hearing about the process of designing and testing compounds/tires for different tracks at different times of year.

Best NASCAR podcast in a while
I do lawn care and when I just want something to listen to during racing season I can always trust there is a new episode. I love the funny stories they tell and how he is not bias about his team.

Dirty Air with Ryan McGee
I’ve not heard much from Ryan prior to this podcast, this was great. I’m going to check out more of his material. Thanks 👍

The best show in the game!!
I started listening to this podcast few years ago and it has brought me back to racing, life long racing fan kinda got away from it for a few years. Thanks you, you guys put on the best show and love listening to the old racers and crew members tell their stories, part of history most never get the opportunity to learn about.

Ryan McGee
He was a perfect fill in. Enjoyed his knowledge and history with the sport! Never knew McGee was that big into NASCAR back in the day. Just bought the audio book after hearing McGee. Awesome host. A+

Good… but..
STOP INTERRUPTING YOUR GUESTS! Waddell Wilson was one of your worst.

Truly a Legend
Wow! Where do you start a interview with a legend like Waddell. Hardly scratched the surface of all he has done. Will there be a Part 2?

IROC
Great show again! I hope the IROC racing makes it back. My first car was a black 1986 IROC-Z. Would love to watch great drivers in equal cars again.

Ray is such an awesome motivational speaker, Great episode. Keep them coming.

Top notch
After the first week, wasn’t sure about the podcast without Mike to call Dale out. Amy on the other hand seems like the only person who will without a doubt tell Dale how it is. Great to have her as a guest host and hope they bring in some more.

More Amy!!!
Ok! Maybe I’m a homer. More Amy. Mike Davis is gone. Dale needs the back and forth. It makes the podcast higher quality. I vote for Amy. She has the ability to get inside Dales head! She is super smart and NASCAR savvy. She has awesome input. If we can’t have Mike Davis. We need Amy Earnhardt! Great Pod either way. My favorite driver turned into my favorite listening!

Great podcast - Thanks for reading my review

Podcast and interviews
This podcast is amazing and I discovered it during Covid. It has renewed my love of nascar along with motor sports in general. Wednesdays are my favorites with the interviews y’all do. That being said I miss the intro to them from 2023. It would get me pumped! Thank you for the show and it gives me a taste of home as I miss southern accents specifically NC from someone that lives in Sicily .

Great show.
I really enjoyed todays show.

Love the show
As a lifelong NASCAR fan as well as a lifelong Dale Jr fan, I will entertain anything Dale Jr stamps his name on. Been that way since I was a kid. The show is an excellent representation of NASCAR. Love the guest segments, the history lessons that come with all of them. I’ve been wanting to get involved in some aspect of the sport. As it is one of my deepest passions. Located in central Missouri, I try to go to as many NASCAR events as possible. Just an idea I have had in my head, I would love the opportunity to be a guest speaker for the show as a fans perspective. I know it’s a far fetched idea, but a shot not taken is a shot missed. Would love to hear back. Ricky Livingston.

NASCAR Fantasy
Avid listener or both Dale Jr. Download and Actions Detrimental. Also love NASCAR fantasy. I did not like NASCAR’s format of it, so I created my own fantasy league. It is very similar to other fantasy sports leagues. Love the talk about gambling and all the opportunities within NASCAR to expand on this.

Right??
Dale, I love this show but your propensity to use the word “right?” especially in the Denny Hamlin episode has gotten to the point where it takes people out of listening to the show. You probably don’t even notice it but you may want to work on getting it out of your lexicon.

Love y'all
I loved Denny Hamlin being on; going to miss Mike; and look forward to many, many more!

Great
Enjoy when dale talks about day to day life. I think everyone would enjoy a series about dale jr years on and off track. He was a rock star. Also a whole show of ask dale.

Great info
As a long time fan and an older fan I need more NASCAR 101. The scoring baffles me. Hope Denny does a few more years. Enjoy your work to promote Nascar and to keep the history alive. Thank you

This was a great episode! Getting to hear stories about his experiences and time with Chip was awesome. Plus, his insight is fantastic every time he’s on the air. We need more Jamie Mac!

Love this podcast.
I don’t watch nascar anymore but I love this podcast. I love listening to dale talk and I love hearing the stories. The ONLY reason I only gave 4 starts is cause mikes advertising is wayyyyyy to long and drawn out.

Opposed to change
This podcast gets me through all the yard work. I’m just getting tired of stopping the mower to skip all these freaking ads! It’s just too much. I know y’all are out to entertain and make money, but please back off some on the ad reads!!

I’ve been listening to the DJD since SPY Optic was a sponsor and this podcast never fails to entertain me. I’ve really enjoyed the move to the format that was introduced this year of putting out three episodes a week. it makes me look forward to the middle of the week. great job!

Millbridge Episode
I have never submitted a review for a podcast, but I had to for this one. I love all of what DJD is doing, but the Business of Motorsports episodes are especially interesting. In this one, I found myself cheering for Ashley’s comments about running an efficient show. I love dirt racing, and I would love to go to my local tracks more often. However, I don’t because every time I do, I find myself frustrated with the amount of my time that is wasted by programs that are just too slow. Preach Ashley! Please come to central Pennsylvania and host a revival. Promoters, keep the show moving, we’re literally there to celebrate speed. Thanks DJD for giving Ashley a platform to share her wisdom. PS, there are a couple of track here that might give that Millbridge Mafia a great fight, would love to see it.

Honestly
I like the way Dale Jr. says Toe-Yoda instead of Toy-ota. He says he’s a Lutheran and goes to church when he can, which means never. Less is more, you’re putting out too many podcasts.
