I really liked the conversation between Roger and Erin Carson about new tech behind tornado detection. It’s fascinating that “listening” to low-frequency sounds from tornadoes could be used to warn people. Solid conversation all around!

Roger Cheng has a good sense on the “so what” behind the days headlines.

I liked the 3:59, but the Daily Charge format is terrible in my opinion. I still listen because it’s rather quick tech updates, but I’m debating looking for other sources of information.

For some reason when this show rebranded from the 3:59 to the Daily Charge the production value actually went down. Episodes have random audio issues, episodes cut off unexpectedly and polish has overall degraded. I plan to keep listening because the content is great but I’d really like for them to fix the ongoing issues.

3:59 was a great podcast to get tech updates ... the new name “the daily charge” is unoriginal. The new content is bland... more words less information. What a shame!

Overall, I enjoyed the information. But, over time I started to like the attitudes of Ben and Rodger. I don’t know if they even realize it but they have off handed pessimistic comments. I almost hear a teenage angst from them. For tech reporting they seem pretty stuck In their bubbles. Maybe I’ll try again down the road.

The content of this podcast is relevant and useful, but they just can’t get the audio quality to be consistent. Roger Chang is nearly always either louder than everyone else or tinny. They’ve got to listen back to their own podcasts once in a while, right?

Lately, new episodes won’t download (unknown error 400 in iTunes). This has happened 3-4 times in a row.

This podcast is so unbelievably entertaining! I love how when you listen you not only laugh but you’re able to get up to date on everything (quickly) that’s happening In the constantly changing tech world.

I have come to depend on The 3:59 and its jovial crew for my daily tech news fix — to such an extent that I now experience withdrawal symptoms Fri thru Sun. Can't The 3:59 go 7 days/week? Also, I haven't seen a new episode on iTunes (or anywhere else) in over a week now. What gives?!?

Good show except when the get "the gang" together. Then it's a bunch of little boys making fun of what they don't like... extended shows make me want to dump it..

I don't work in tech development but this is a quick and listenable overview of tech news. Good guests here and there too.

A good quick summary of what's happening in tech. I like the rapport between Roger and Ben and they're quite funny with different views on various topics.

The 3:59 is a perfect podcast for those looking to get their fill of tech news in a nice quick package. Roger and Ben have a great rapport and it's always interesting to hear them when they have opposing views. Looking forward to more episodes! Keep it up!

I really love how these 2 talk to each other. They're clearly having a lot of fun.
