Yeah this is definitely the podcast for you if you’d like to watch their life streams and want to hear more about their life experiences, or just general table top thoughts. It’s like peeking back behind the curtain of a board game store.

Just found this and listened through 3 in a row (which I rarely do). Smart analysis mixed with meaningful conversation—all while keeping it fun and accessible. Really looking forward to following from here on out!

Zach and Steven discuss games and table top gaming but relate it to everyday life and real experiences. This podcast is very good in so many levels and whilst being into the games will make this more enjoyable there are some great lessons here about their specific approach to life Business and gaming

These guys got me into table top games. I was into Star Wars CCG In the 90s and I thought that was the only game I was interested in... until I found Covenant Cast— their mission to evangelize the entire world for table top is working. I’m not just a believer I’m a zealot! When you start listening you’ll get what I mean. Who knew I’d be deeply interested in other games much less the game INDUSTRY. They make this stuff palatable and enjoyable at the same time. Go listen already! CC Roxx!

These guys have great perspectives and viewpoints of various games and behind the scenes of the tabletop game industry. Very interesting to listen to them and learn. These guys are obviously smart and love what they do. Always insightful and entertaining.

I’ve been listening to the Cast for a long time. I love this company, this team, and this content. Their videos are also top-notch and must-see material for those in table top industry. I’m currently not a part of any game or specific game’s community, but I love the industry, and I look forward to supporting TC for years to come.

The guys are very passionate about expandable card games and are constantly on a journey to explore how retail fits into the modern scene.

I stumbled across Team Covenant during some sort of internet spiral while I was “researching” various card games to create my own casual game. I continue to return to their site and content accounts, because Steven and Zach are awesome! I really enjoy their thoughtful diagnosis of card games, most of which I don’t and won’t play. Truly entertaining and informative, a podcast I didn’t know I needed, but so happy I have found.

I found Team Covenant just over a year ago and it’s had a huge impact on my love of tabletop games. The podcast is amazing, but they also have their YouTube channel and their pre-order subscription service. I listen to a lot of board games content, but this is one I never miss. I love the topics they discuss and the level of knowledge they bring to the conversation. They are pretty funny guys too so that helps!

I am SO glad I stumbled across this podcast. Wow. I have played Hearthstone for awhile but I have never played a card game in person. Physical card games seem incredibly difficult for me to learn but listening to this podcast and watching their YouTube videos have really helped. I mostly began watching for Transformers but quickly got caught up in Star Wars Destiny and Marvel Champions. Their videos are very user friendly and really break down the rules and guide new players through the game experience. I’m now considering going to Tulsa once grad school ends to pay them a visit in person. Well done podcast and community building gents.

I don’t play/enjoy the collectible/expandable card games that Covenant sells and discusses, but love the way they discuss the gaming industry and gaming retail. I hope to open a store one day and find their thoughtful analyses really useful. Keep up the good work guys!

There is a reason this show has 5 stars. This is one of the few podcast that really dives into the economics and philosophical approach to owning a small business in the hobby market. As a fan of hobby board games and someone who finds narrative approaches to economics entertaining this show hits multiple fronts for me. Their opinions on community and strategy around games is also very entertaining. They focus on mostly FFG games, but do mention things outside that sphere that have a lot of buzz or any niche games that have them excited.

I look forward to Team Covenant’s podcast every week! Very informative and keeps me up to speed on games and rules so when I’m able to actually go to my FLGS, I don’t feel so lost. Really enjoy the streams of consciousness and tangents. You guys are wise beyond your years.

The only thing like it. If you want gaming industry news mixed with retailers insights, this is it. They have a true and sincere love for gaming that show in every episode.

Great podcast, love what these guys do for the gaming community. The podcasts are thought provoking and really brings about a lot of different viewpoints and discussion into the weekly topic. It's really cool how they love the questions and responses they get in a conversation with the audience.

The camaraderie between Steven and Zach is exceptional. Both of them represent the best of possible gamers you could come across (if you were lucky) in your FLGS. Friendly and instructional without being arrogant. Quality in-depth reviews and coherent, succinct, relatable discussions of the elements of play and styles. The top notch subscription service is an added bonus as it feels like I'm part of a club of dedicated gamers who care about sportsmanship and thematic elements of gaming. The instruction is also one of the best parts about this group, they teach by way of watching them learn a really immersive and also inclusive (albeit virtual) experience. Could not endorse them enough, this is where you want to be for your Fix.

This is a fantastic podcast for those interested in CCGs, LCGs & others. Best production value in the genre, hands down. The hosts are engaging, informative and fun to watch / listen to. They explain a lot of stuff and are noob friendly as well as talk about more competitive topics.

I love their discussions and love hearing about my favorite hobby, but the pre-show banter is way too long. When you have 25% of your show as off-topic banter, that’s pushing it.
