Fans of the NBA crave REAL content and JJ provides that with his podcast. Unfortunately, the narratives and headlines coming from ESPN, most of the media, and even the league leans towards scripted and boring. Listened to each episode a few times over, hope it returns soon!

I was looking for a good NBA podcast and I am more than happy for this one. I just wish he did it more often that's how good it is. Keep it up JJ

JJ does a terrific job of not only getting interesting guests but asking questions the normal fan/podcaster/reporter would not normally think of. Provides an insight into life as a real NBA player.

This is my new favorite podcast! JJ does a great job of hosting by asking interesting questions and having a great conversation with the guests. While listening, you get a sense of JJ's appreciation for who he's speaking with and it is great to hear about the relationship, connection, and admiration he has for each one of them. This podcast gives a unique view of the lives of professional athletes that can rarely be garnered with accuracy through the media. While prominent sports figures and those in related professions are primarily interviewed, a wide range of topics are address, from game day routines, to discussions on race. What I appreciate most about the podcast is the fact that JJ and all of his guest are "real" and don't have a problem with sharing their failures, or frustrations. Beyond that, they go on to give advice/ suggestions in many areas that can be applied to daily life. This podcast is a great listen for anyone. Good Job JJ! As a fellow Virginian, I am super proud!

Having listened to JJ Redick's interviews with Zach Lowe in the past I knew he was a down to earth guy who didn't give the typical athlete answers. Now that he has his own podcast (a first among current players) it's refreshing to get his take on both sports and pop culture. A podcast has really captured me when I listen to every episode no matter the guest or subject, and that's what JJ's podcast has done. His perspective on current sports is always interesting, but there's something about the way JJ talks about life that always keeps me coming back. If you enjoy basketball this is a must listen, but even if you're not a sports person I think there's enough here to keep you entertained. The 4x4 at the end is always a favorite, and a very refreshing addition to the podcast.

Really, really good. As a Terps fan it kind of pains me how good he is with all guests and all topics. A really thoughtful and entertaining look at a variety of subjects from a unique point of view that you usually don't hear from that in-depth.

I am very impressed with JJ Redick. He is a sharp brotha who gives his guests the forum to express themselves. Best podcast in the App Store!

When I saw that a current NBA player was doing a podcast I knew had to hear it and JJ has not disappointed. I'm a Duke fan also but no bias here. Keep it up JJ!

JJ is a talented communicator with a 6th sense for drawing out interesting stories from interesting guests. Clearly a deep thinker, JJ mixes his philosophies on life with a quick wit to keep his guests engaged. All that mixed in with genuinely laugh out loud moments week in and week out. My favorite podcast, without a doubt.

Very neat listening to a NBA podcast from a players point of view! JJ does a great job at hosting a podcast, even better than Woj and Chris Manix! I'd give a four start rating but my Blazers beat the clippers in the first round. I'm still kinda happy about that.

I must say, I was surprised at how awesome is this podcast. I'm a Michigan fan and I still hate Duke but JJ has grown on me so much. His personality suits me so well, he comes across as honest and humble, it's really refreshing to see that those characteristics come to life. Sometimes all you see if the player but now you see the person. I'm a fan now and I look forward to all the interviews to come. As a Yankees fan I would love for him to interview some baseball players, think about that JJ!

Very happy to have this podcast, to get a different perspective on what is going on in basketball and a different set of interviewees. His guests naturally skew toward current basketball players, but also includes former players, atheletes in other sports, and also some big names outside of sports. If I had one ask it would be to provide more of an intro regarding the guests - where they play, more on their background, etc. For most I know, and for the remaining I can usually put the pieces together, but it wouldn't hurt.

Redick does a fantastic job of conducting interesting and enlightening interviews. He gets a variety of guests from all different sports and entertainment. It's not just about basketball. Very engaging and enjoyable podcast!

JJ is an incredibly well-spoken guy, who also comes across as an authentic and genuinely cool person. I learn something new about the NBA every time I listen to his podcast.

Redick is a natural at this podcasting thing. I listen to various NBA pods and this is the only pod that isnt entirely basketball related that I enjoy during basketball season. (It has a lot of basketball content, just not exclusive to it). A lot of podcasters have good content but bad delivery, this is not the case with Redick. The varying topics with guests that call in keep the pod fresh for content, which varies from momeny management to politics to his weekly 4 on 4. Keep up the good work JJ!

J.J. was my favorite player at Duke so I'm kind of biased.. But, this is an exceptional podcast. Always great insight on life and basketball and has been great to see how J.J. has progressed through his life. Enjoy his thoughtful questions and story's from the Duke era!
