Applying Biblical thinking and perspective to current events is always a good thing. This podcast regularly reminds me to view current events and trends not through the lens of group-think, but with a longer, even eternal view. While I always enjoyed Chuck Colson’s books and Breakpoint radio spots, my attention was brought to these podcasts by John Stonestreet’s regular appearances on another news podcast I never miss. Now this podcast is added to that very small list.

This podcast clarifies a lot of complicated issues that are barging. We are young people, but adults as well. Thank you John and Maria for your Christian world view clarity on Breakpoint and The Point podcasts. Such clarity is SO needed in today’s cultural moment. Breakpoint addresses current events, ideologies and today’s culture in such a clear and incisive fashion. The tone is never incendiary, yet it’s bold. The hosts are highly articulate and present the content in a relatable way being annoyingly chatty. This podcast will help you sharpen your critical thinking skills while also encouraging your Christian faith. The topics are addressed at an intellectual but accessible level. I can’t recommend it enough.

Two shows l have not missed for many years (even binge listening to catch up on missed shows) are the “World and Everything in It” and “Break Point This Week”. Both great shows that work on being balanced but definitely from a Christian viewpoint. Thanks for your efforts! Chuck Colson was always one of my modern Christian heroes! Greg

John Stonestreet continues the legacy of Chuck Colson delivering straight to the point commentaries about modern issues. Probably the clearest thinking about topics that matter which I have found.

I’ve very disappointed that you would use Claudia Gay’s resignation to then drop Donald Trumps name in comparison. Whatever you think of him this was totally unrelated and uncalled for. What a shame.

I have long appreciated Breakpoint for its helpful and insightful content. As a pastor it is difficult to stay on top of the news and this podcast is a great tool. Easy to understand and entertaining at times, I highly recommend Breakpoint!

Although I have been a long time listener and breakpoint is always my first message of the day…love the insight on all the varied topics…what I don’t understand is the need to play intense music in the background of the message… it makes me want to tune out!

I always enjoy the short episodes and hearing JS on The World and Everything in it. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I’d love to see you tighten up your weekend episode. It’s always interesting but includes a lot of rambling.

I am very thankful for the thoughtful and biblical analysis of the week’s events. It is always good to hear constructive discussion and criticism by John and Maria. I really enjoy the recommendation bit at the end.

Lots of great commentary from a solid Christian perspective. My only criticism is their winsomeness doesn’t seem to grasp that the pagans and the atheists want to kill them. Yeah, guys, the gravity of the situation is that serious.
