I love this podcast so much! it’s a great boost to my day, and makes me laugh, feel encouraged and it’s just clean, fun humor! And by the way, I am also going through Streams in the Desert, and it is one of my favorite devotionals! Someone gifted it to us when my mother-in-law was killed in a tragic car accident. I bought several more copies to give to others. It’s the best gift to someone who has a loss or tough time. 🩷

I really enjoy listening, especially to the fun takes on college football and sports in general. This podcast makes me laugh and is a nice diversion. But I have a very difficult time relating to a lifestyle which is so invested with attention and money in nails, skins, fashion, massages, etc.

I’ve never before so loved people I haven’t met, but I feel like we are lifelong friends. Sophie and Melanie crack me up like nobody else! A few times every episode I take screenshots of the timestamps so I can go back and share blips with my friends. Y’all are a treasure! Since knowing you, I have a renewed love of Aggie football and a newfound respect for proactive skincare regimens. If that’s not a wise investment of listening time, I don’t know what is.

I have loved this podcast for years but all the ads are starting to make me feel the same way I do when I’m trying to have a conversation with another adult and my toddler keeps interrupting to tell me random things. Really takes away from the natural flow of conversation that first drew me to the podcast in the first place and I have found myself putting off listening to episodes because of it. Today I was crazy enough to count and there have already been 5 ad breaks in 34 minutes 🫠😳 Also the episodes have gotten a lot shorter and seem to follow a quick script (what Sophie did this weekend, what Melanie did this weekend, one random topic, are we ready to do 5 favorites?)….I know y'all have to make money and aren’t big on listening to other podcasts but many of them are a lot longer and only have a couple of ad breaks. Maybe you could group them together at the beginning and end or something? I hope the feedback isn’t too much for you nines 😂 but I want the all the best things for y’all and can’t be the only listener noticing this!

I love this podcast overall. But I haaaaate the constant ads. Also Sophie’s constant use of the phrase “this past weekend” (just say LAST WEEKEND!!) and making the word “and” into two syllables both make my skin crawl. Otherwise, I enjoy the content and laughs.

I clean my house each week while listening to Sophie and Melanie….and it has made the job so much more fun! This is a FANTASTIC podcast and I love Patreon episodes as well. Not only do these ladies keep me laughing, keep me up-to-date on pop culture and football, and keep me fashionable but they have a heart of gold as well!

I taught the women who recommended this show to me how to seduce men with “football talk.” We all were, and still are LSU fans, but I was teaching Texans about real football and DMB and SEC rivalries years ago. Then my same Texas friends suggested this show to me, 20 years later, proving that the women who know you in college, they know you. Thanks for being role models for sports-obsessed women.

I don’t follow college sports, but it’s still fun to listen to Sophie and Melanie talk about that and everything else from pop culture to their college age kids and five favorites.

As an introvert I so enjoy listening along as my two best friends (whom I’ve never actually met) chit chat about their weekends, kids, meals and game days as we have a cup of coffee, or go through the school pickup line or whatever other task I take them on. Best news is they never direct a question to me, I can laugh as loud as I want and they don’t mind when I ask for a pause to place my take out order. I can be content to sit back and listen and let them exert all the energy and at the end of our adventure, I mean episode, they aren’t going to text each other about how quiet I was. Or wonder if I even had fun. Believe me I did!!! I never miss a chance to hang out with these two gal pals of mine!!

I’m a 26 year old single mama and sometimes just need some uplifting words and conversation from some good friends and other mamas. So my search began for a good Christian mom podcast and I am just so glad this is the one I decided to land on. I have put ALL of my true crime podcasts on hold and am now about a month behind because I cannot stop listening to this one. I started back from the beginning in 2007 just so I can follow your lives to get to where we are now. I am in 2015 right now and have lately been wondering if I could find any of your books at my local Mardels. Just like my podcast pursuit, my book searches are similar so I tend to pick up motherly books that I feel will guide me with a little bit of humor as well. Before my Mardels run tomorrow morning I googled the names of your books that way I can keep my eye out for the titles and covers. To my surprise, I inadvertently picked up It’s All About The Small Things during my last Mardels run (it’s not a run, I sit in the book sections for at least an hour and a half) and this memoir made it in my pile of books that were coming home with me. Didn’t realize it’s been sitting on my dresser in line to be read all the while I’ve been listening to this podcast, and I just couldn’t be more TICKLED today when I realized. Love you ladies, y’all are awesome and I just enjoy listening to you. I am already from Texas but noticing my southern accent gets stronger and stronger after I listen to an episode and start saying things like “tickled.”

As a young mom, I absolutely adore their perspectives on motherhood after raising theirs to college age now. I love their recommendations for products, movies, shows, books, and recipes. Mostly love their life advice and their heart for the Lord. They are also so hilarious! Cannot recommend enough!

I am not a huge podcast listener and Big Boo was recommended as one I would truly love. For the last 3 years I’ve savored every minute that I can with these women! I am NOT one to fan crush but I do with these 2! Love them (and all their books) to the moon and back!

I can't tell you how many times this podcast has made me laugh to the point of wheezing. They are so funny, but underneath all the giggles (of which there are many and it’s infectious), is a faithful and supportive friendship between them that makes me grateful for my own BFFs. I love when my best friend texts me a quote from Big Boo or asks if I’ve listened to a given episode. We live two states away from one another, but will always be in each other’s corners, just like Melanie and Sophie are to each other.

First review I have ever written: Melanie & Sophie deserve all 5 stars! This is my favorite podcast by far! The intro music instantly puts me in a great mood! I like that they are close to my same age and I also have a senior, like Sophie, this year. I can relate to where they are in life in regards to parenting, age issues (losing my close up eye sight), and their love of the enneagram.
