Love the podcast! You two are great!

I definitely only listen to this to hear their take on a controversial or drama-filled episode of Bachelor / Bachelorette. Still the best podcast for this, and still my go-to.

I find Kathy off putting

First time listening and was appalled by how they consider Daisy (from the bachelor) like a clout seeker just because she was genuine to herself. Straight up mean

I love them! They’re hilarious and I’m glad they give honest and entertaining opinions. Not sure why people would complain about them being negative. I so appreciate that they aren’t boring, who wants to listen to a podcast saying everyone on the show is amazing. If anything be meaner haha. Never change Kay & Jared!! 💋

This podcast always hits and is so funny, light and brings some realism back to a crazy show. I do miss Fat Carrie Bradshaw and wish yall would do a cross over or guest appearance or something. A girl can dream!!! But always a great listen either way.

I think I gave the podcast 2 or 3 stars when the podcast got new hosts and just updated it to 5 stars since Joey’s season started. I really like the insights Jared shares. It feels like the betchelor looks at the show with a sharper eye now if that makes sense. Love that they brought back fun stuff like naming the episode and FMK at the end. — Previous review: Growing pains? Change is hard. I miss the Cringe Harrison award, reading creative reviews that win merch, and songs about sponsors (Skinny pop!). I realize things have to change with a new host (Miss Derek, but FCB is fun) and COVID, but please bring back or make new fun bits to change up the recaps!

I used to be a religious fan of this podcast, for years! But lately I feel like the last year or so they’ve just turned into 2 really toxic mean girls. I’m all for poking fun of reality tv! But it seems it’s just a platform to absolutely hate on EVERYTHING! saying the golden hour podcast is ridiculous and saying they’re just going to talk about how to make the text on your iPhone bigger- is straight up ageist and rude (the golden Bach ladies are AMAZING and very beloved among many!) it seems nothing impresses them and they usually just hate everyone. I recommend “my mom and dad” podcast personally for recaps, they’re fun, real, not rude, still poke fun, but it feels possitive and not “mean”. Question for Jared and Kay: who hurt you?

Your voices were phasing in and out so much I couldn’t listen anymore!

It sounded fun but I cannot take the fact that the guy’s microphone cuts in and out. It sounds like he is wheeling himself towards and away from the mic over and over and sooooo off putting and distracting.

These two are my favorites to recap the show with. I started watching the show after watching Jared’s bachelor livescreams and now get to listen to their commentary. They are hilarious!

Your voices hi in and out

Jared- when you see Leslie, tell her to cheer up- she dodged a bullet. If she would get rid of sad face someone will hire her.

The show reviews are fine. But Jared needs to stop screeching. Also, he makes crude references to ejaculation every show and often multiple times. It’s kind of gross and middle school’ish. He might need some therapy for that. At a minimum, he needs to try to inject some wit, cleverness and originality to his humor.

LOVE the show but the new ads are sooooo long. Totally get they need to be in there but if there’s any way they could be a little shorter, it just really takes me out of the episode and I find myself stopping listening sometimes. Otherwise one of my favorite parts of the week!

Love the pod! Only complaint Jared’s mic is not as loud as Kay’s and be kinda fades in and out at times.

Jared describing Jesse’s wife with a newborn at home with spit up all over her is so spot on while he’s playing tennis in Jasper. One of my favorite things I’ve heard and so relatable.

I love love this pod! I don’t always agree with the takes (I am disabled and the guy I was dating before the major health event that disabled me definitely left me because of it. There are statistics that show ~70% of men will leave their partners during a major health event vs ~30% of women), but that’s ok! Jared and Kay have amazing banter and I look forward to the episodes every week. You guys should look into the Clayton paternity thing or even interview him if possible. It was crazy! The woman who accused him of being the father of her child was never even pregnant! Truly wild

I stopped listening to U Up because of Jared. I stuck with the Betchelor bc I like my silly little bachelor recaps, but Jared's misogyny is hard to get past. Obviously, he always talks about how the Bachelor is better than Bachelorette because he thinks catty women are funnier than catty men - just a sexist viewpoint. And you can just say Galentine's Day is cringy - you don't have to say some whole piece about how "sad, single" people have co-opted it. He tried to get ahead of it, but he definitely downplayed a contestant's issues with endometriosis and her past relationship. It doesn't matter whether or not her fertility issues were why the guy ended the relationship - that is the reason he gave her, which is awful regardless of it was the real reason or not. Why is he playing devil's advocate for some random contestant's ex? He's so focused on making all men "not the bad guy" at the expense of believing women's real-life experiences and feelings. It's just gross how obsessed he is with putting women down. And Kay (much like Jordana on u up) does not nothing to challenge him. If Fat Carrie returned or they replaced Jared with another cohost, I'd still listen. But at this point, I'm done consuming any Jared Fried-related content.

Omg Jared PLEASE stop saying “like” every second and rambling on about things other than what you’re talking about. The anti vax story was offensive and had absolutely nothing to do with what he was trying to relate it to. Love Kay and could definitely do without Jared’s annoying voice and opinions.

I love this podcast & Kay & Jared too. From Kay’s weekend recaps to their funny takes they are great. Big dog’s gotta eat! 😂❤️ I use this in day to day conversations now.

I heard you on Ryan Bailey. This is my first season of classic bachelor- Golden was my OG. This podcast explains a lot and makes me laugh!! The Bachelor is psychological torture.

Love this podcast! I started listening to this podcast about 6 months ago and it’s definitely one of my favorite bachelor ones. Kay has such a fun bubbly personality and Jared is hilarious and quick witted! Great duo! As someone in their mid-30s, I can relate to so many of their references and comments. 😀

My biggest pet peeve is when people are talking as experts on a subject and don’t know their facts.

The only reason I watch anything bachelor nation is because I love this pod! Kay and Jared are hilarious!!

A good listen! My only complaint is I wish there was more. Stuff like Q&A’s, rewatches and other shows to cover Nonetheless love Jared and Kay!

Is this guy a nepo baby or Sami’s boyfriend? I’m so glad this was recommended—now I know where Jared Fried came from. During his podcast publicity blitz, he has made my favorite shows unpleasant to the point of skipping the entire thing because of his guesting. Having not watched the Bachelor for a while now, I would never guest on this pod. Jared (and everyone else too)… please stay off of pods where you have no knowledge. At the very least, let the experts speak.

Jared & Kay desperately need a better producer, intern, or someone to fact check them. Kay just said that Aven didn’t make it pass hometowns & didn’t want to propose to Rachel… Which isn’t true at all. Aven was in the final 2 & Rachel and him broke up literally because he didn’t want to propose to her. It’s so frustrating to listen to them be so wrong about actual things that happen.

Aven was runner up btw. And he actually didn’t want to propose. He and Rachel got in an argument about it. One full of micro aggressions that pretty much ended with her “don’t yell at me.” 🙄

The casual misogyny from both Jared and Kay isn’t even a little bit cute.

My favorite bachelor recap podcast BUT WHY did you have a random person do the interview with Jesse Palmer?!? That is not what this show’s subscribers wanted, we wanted Jared to interview him!!!

Betches needs to get rid of Jared. He has become so problematic and bitter over the years.

Beyond the fact that he’s always screaming and she goes along with everything he says, this latest episode post the THR article was more frustrating than usual. They completely glossed over the fact that Gerry’s whole pitch was a lie. All his lines that started with “I haven't …. since Toni died” were blatant lies. So according to these hosts, this just makes Big Dog Gerry a typical relatable man. NO! This makes him a liar who is nothing like the man he and the producers drummed up.

I subscribe to this show for Jared and Kay. Their dynamic. Super bummed for anytime they aren’t both on the pod at the same time and even more disappointed to see a Jesse Palmer interview on the feed with some rando host. This pod could be a top one in bachelor pods but they chaos of not sticking to the two main hosts is going to be its downfall

I used to enjoy their podcast but now it feels like Jared complaining the whole time and I don’t feel like he understands the concept of the show. Also, he was insisting Kat I worked in marketing when her job is a nurse. You'd think if you were hosting a podcast on a topic you’d at least be knowledgeable on it. Don’t think I’ll be listening anymore.

Jared hit it out of the park with his Gerry Turner interview! 10/10!! So good. Just loved every minute of it.

Jared and Kay knock it out of the park with every Golden Bachelor and BIP review. Not only do they bring articulate unique perspectives, but they have me smiling and laughing so hard my face hurts! 😂 Hilarious and relatable comparisons to their parents and well, real life. I mean who thought dining rooms and living rooms were a good idea? And then we felt forced to use them for special occasions where usually nothing good happened😳. Always a pick me up! Thank you!!

I enjoy listening to these recaps but good lord, can Kay, Jared, or some intern please do some research with some of the folks they are talking about or claiming have some back story? Jared made up a whole new woman on Golden Bachelor called Jillian and then was getting his Cat and Katherine’s mixed up with a completely different woman and was insisting he was right. Kay has plenty of these as well in other episodes but it just makes it seem like they’re putting zero effort into this show. I realize they have other stuff going on in your life but good grief hire an intern or something.
