5 Star Review - Dr. Tay
I absolutely love Sasha’s podcast because of her attention to helping autistic children thrive, particularly at school — it is evident in each of her episodes! As a licensed child psychologist who works with autistic children and their families, this is a podcast I will be recommending parents to start listening to.

Lots of ads
This used to be one of my favorite podcasts, but it is about 5 minutes of good content and 8 minutes of promo. The concepts are great, just be prepared to fast forward a lot.

Outstanding Podcast
I love listening to the Autism Helper Podcast everyday when I walk! I have increased my mileage and steps, because I want to listen to more. Listening to the podcast helps me daily in my Functional Academic SDC. I also share with parents as well as assign it to my para educators and then discuss the topics and strategies at our weekly meetings.

Sasha is amazing! She offers so many ideas and suggestions so you are always learning! It’s the PD TRAINING that you wish you had to go to instead of whatever the district made you go to. These podcasts are the perfect thing also for program/classroom trainings!

Grateful for the Amazing Resource.
I have been teaching special education for 20 years and if I would have had such an amazing resources as the autism helper I would not have been overwhelmed my first couple of years. I would know where to start and would of had such amazing resources at my finger tips instead of having to do so much research ti find material to use with a wide range of learners.

TAH podcasts
Sasha came to Kentucky several years ago to do two in-person PDs. In these PDs, I really appreciated her knowledge, the manner in which she communicated information to teachers with a wide range of experience and skills, and the materials Sasha and her team have created. The podcasts are a way for teachers (and others) to have access to this knowledge, etc.

Fantastic podcasts through The Autism helper
I can’t recommend The Autism Helper’s podcasts enough. Parents, teachers, therapists, and more, there is so much goodness and learning everyone. When you think about it, we are built to learn and this is exactly what the podcasts do. The amount of support, encouragement, and passion Sasha and others have is real and it’s like she’s right here talking to you. As a teacher of students with severe autism and low incidence disabilities, I feel very supported by the podcast. There is always an Aha and learning. For families and as a sister with a sibling with autism, I’m always doing more to help and that’s just what the podcasts do. I can recommend the Autism Helpers podcast to everyone!

TAH
I have been a faithful follower of Sasha and The Autism Helper for the past 7 years. As a BCBA, special education teacher and a grandmother of a awesome little boy with autism I have come to rely on TAH as a resource. Through the podcasts, courses and resources I have improved my knowledge and skill set and have been able to support behavior change and improve skills in the lives of the parents and children that I have had the privilege to work with. Keep doing what you are doing. You have changed lives. Thank you! Kathy Morico

TAH
Haven’t listened yet as I didn’t know there was a podcast. Definitely will be listening this summer to prep for the next school year. Five star rating based off products we are using already and looking forward to using the curriculum this fall.

Podcasts and Autism Helper: Preschool SPED Teacher and BCBA, LBA
I cannot believe what an outstanding job Sasha does in: 1. Laying out the goals of her lessons 2. Structuring lessons in a way that is sequential, concise (holds my attention), explicit (examples provided), and explicitly explains how to start from baseline to identifying skill deficits and strengths, as well as teaching strategies and materials. 3. I am currently taking the Excutive Functioning Master's Course and it has been life changing for my young self-contained and integrated learners!! Often times, we recieve an IQ report which identifies missing skills, but I have never had a systematic way of implementing a plan to address thes areas identified. Her Podcasts and Courses are a must have as an educator and BCBA!!!

Go to for special Ed help
While it’s called the Autism Helper podcast, it’s my favorite podcast to listen for tips on all my students or organizing my room, or activities. It’s quick and easy to understand, perfect for my drive to work. Bonus when Sasha adds in a story of past students.

Good stuff!
After 30+ years of teaching, I thought I pretty much knew some variation of everything - NOPE! Shauna and company have taught me so many ways to make my classroom run more efficiently and help my students to be more successful. I cannot recommend this podcast enough to newbies, “can’t even see the light at the end of the tunnelers,” and old dogs like me. SO many new tricks!!

Review of podcasts
I absolutely LOVE this podcast. I stumbled across this podcast and TAH a couple years ago and I have been so motivated to continue my work as a special education educator every time I listen to a podcast or read a blog post. Sasha brings a wealth of knowledge to educators and parents out there who are looking to learn more about how to help students with autism. Along with the podcast, I have really enjoyed the membership that she offers. I’m so glad that she has all these wonderful resources available. Another thing I’d like to add is that she responds to questions via email so promptly! As a busy mom and teacher, I appreciate getting a quick response when I need one. I highly recommend this podcast as she covers so many different topics and brings people along who are knowledgeable in the topic area. I don’t think any educator looking to learn more will be disappointed.

So very helpful
My teacher friend turned me on to this podcast. As an OT I am often looking for better ways to support my teacher colleagues and my students- this podcast helped me do that. I broadened my behavior knowledge. I broadened my understanding of using visuals. And I keep learning more with every listen.

The Autism Helper is amazing
Sasha provides so much incredible information for special education teachers. As a fairly new self-contained teacher this podcast has been a lifeline. I use many resources from The Autism Helper store in my classroom and structure my classroom around things I have learned from the podcast. This podcast has changed my view on educating and has helped me become a better teacher.

Professional Development on the Go!
I have been following Sasha Long for a few years now. It started by following her on Instagram, downloading her products on TpT, having an in-person training with her, and now her amazing podcast!! Her resources are too notch and so helpful within my classroom, so to be able to hear professionals, parents, and her own insights as a BCBA has helped me out so much! She offers a variety of topics and sometimes when I am struggling in a certain area I will listen to the topic on her podcast and learn some new tips and tricks! Follow and subscribe, you won’t regret it!

So incredibly practical!
I switched into special ed after 10 years of teaching a different subject. Some things have come naturally; other things have been a steep learning curve - especially because I entered special ed by way of “job-embedded licensure” (meaning I started teaching while I pursued my Master’s in special ed at the same time). I had seen materials from TAH here and there, but then I joined the professional membership community at the first of the year. From my experiences with that and with this podcast, I can officially say I’ve “drunk the TAH kool-aid!” Everything produced by Sasha and company is so incredibly relevant, evidence-based, field tested, and practicable - usually even more so than the materials I encountered while earning my Master’s. I can’t recommend it enough! I’m pretty sure my colleagues are already sick of hearing me quote from TAH all the time 😄

A multitude of gratitude to The Autism Helper
As a neurodiverse mom with a young preverbal child on the spectrum, The Autism Helper has provided such excellent guidance and resourceful information that saved countless of hours being in despair via blog articles, podcasts, courses, membership, and TAH shop. Thank you. Your podcasts are always so helpful and encouraging. M.D.

Best Practice Meets Practical Practice
The Autism Helper has been a staple resource for me the past several years. First stumbled upon her TpT store, then read her blog. In the past year I have turned to her pod casts to improve my practice as a setting 3 teacher for students with autism. I appreciate the plethora of topics that Sasha and her team cover. In addition, I trust their thoroughness and tight ties to best practice…yet practical practice.

Great Content
Sasha does a great job on her podcast of covering a large variety of content related to educating/working with students with disabilities. As a special educator, I love being able to continue to learn and hear different perspectives. Sasha also has a voice that is very easy to listen to. My first time listening to her podcast I was on a long drive and actually listened to it for 3+ hours straight.
