Very knowledgeable in ortho/sports performance
PT for over 24 years and work in the Ortho outpatient world. I enjoy all the topics discussed. Great energy with his staff and love the banter with his crew. Smart and innovative idea with podcast. Appreciate all the dedication to help other PT’s Mike and his staff.

Very helpful
I searched for info about internal rotation behind the back and came across episode 280, which I found very helpful. I fractured my lesser tuberosity and am having trouble regaining ROM. The episode provided me with a more informed way to discuss the issue with both my therapist and my doctor. Thanks very much, Mike.

As as SPT, this was exactly the podcast I was looking for that discusses relevant clinical topics specifically for athletic populations!

Perfect on the go
I have a short commute and these episodes are perfect to listen to and gain insights into things like sport performance and exercise prescription on the ride to and from the clinic. Well done.

Excellent resource
As a PT with 25 years experience in dance and sports medicine, I highly recommend this pod cast to physical therapists and athletic trainers at all levels of experience. Mike and his team are generous in sharing their knowledge and experience promoting best evidence based practices. Even if well versed in the topic of a particular pod cast, it is always validating and I still learn something. THANK YOU Mike and everyone at Champion PT!

A podcast without Serious discussions
This podcast is just one big joke—It’s not for serious PT’s who want to be the best. They just talk in general terms about vague items of discussion. Save your time and listening ear....

Extremely enjoyable and educational content!
I’m a senior Pre-PT student and Mike Reinold is someone who has really allowed me to foster my passion for Physical Therapy!! I always listen to his podcasts while driving and it’s disappointing when my drives end. I think there should be a rule that after listening to all of The Mike Reinold Show podcasts, you should be allowed to skip PT school and be given exemption from the NPTE!! Just kidding! But, I’ve learned so much! Thanks Mike, Lenny, Dave, Mike S, and Dan for teaching us and the laughs you given many of us along the way! *cough shoulder impingement *cough is a cool topic *cough *cough

Great Content
I find this podcast super informative for anyone, but especially for a student. I love that I can get a small taste of the clinical setting without actually being there. I usually try to think about what I've learned in the classroom and apply that knowledge while listening!

HIIT
In listening to several of the Ask Mike Reinold podcasts with the group of people that he has with him is what I would like to liken to HIIT for the brain. Getting some great information to spingboard off of. To really assure yourself that the information is solid and help to integrate the information into practice you should always back up the information wiht your own independent research but as I said, I feel that it is a great springboard into what is new and functional or applicable.

Better audio would yield 5 stars
5 star content, 3 star audio. I would love to listen more but find the background noises very distracting ie: music from weight room, weights dropping in the background, squeaky chair from someone fidgeting, etc.

Great show for SPTs!
I love the diversity of topics and explanations. As a current 2nd year PT student and an ATC, I have found this really helpful to hear more in-clinic based opinions to supplement the info taught by my professors. I especially enjoy the baseball/shoulder and elbow based episodes.

Concise Gold
The world of exercise science is exponentially morphing with the craving for deepend knowledge as its explosive catalyst. This rebirthing has generated both prosperous growth and muddled confusion as the collision of imposters and forward thinkers is immensly apparent. Mike Reinold has been nothing short of a constant illuminator of concise and factual truths. His podcast is approximately 15-30 minutes of concise gold that allows any listener to relate to an array of topics ranging across a multitude of professional modalities (i.e. physical therapy, strength and conditioning, athletic training, etc.). Start listening now!

Awesome All Around
I love this podcast for many reasons. 1) Great clinical information and insight regarding a wide range of PT topics. 2) Variety of PTs available to answer questions ranging from general outpatient PT, working with barbell athletes, to managing a business. 3) Funny yet very informative. 4) The length of each episode is great for my commute to work. Thanks guys for the great content!

Awesome Podcast for Physical Therapists
Mike, Lenny, and the crew at Champion Physical Therapy in Boston are not only entertaining, but they're also informative, current on the research, regularly seeing patients clinically, and they present their material efficiently. I've taken the time to listen to all the previous episodes now and learned so much and can't wait to see where the podcast goes. These guys genuinely seem to enjoy physical therapy and hanging out with each other. Happy (almost) 100 episodes guys! Thank you for this service.

Torn rotator cuff ...
I am really enjoying & learning from your shows about shoulders & getting questions answered that 2 Orthopaedic surgeons just didn't want to give me regarding surgery or not to do surgery!! I have full range of motion still, pretty strong from coaching gymnastics for 30 years & minor pain (& tear) so I have chosen to NOT do surgery at this time‼️ I am 66, just retired & enjoying classes @ the YMCA ... I feel like the aqua classes are fine but another class I am trying called BodyFlow includes tai chi, Pilates & yoga... just wondering if I should be doing that one?? I enjoy it but experience more pain .. in both shoulders ... just for a day or so though! Keep up the good work ... I appreciate your honesty regarding PT treatments!! Thanks! ~ Sharon Ferguson

Great ortho PT, clinical application, and more
Quick and to the point. Great clinical insight on what PT's see in real life, what's clinically relevant, and what to do about it. If you like ortho PT/ sports ....this is the best out there.

A must for anyone who does PT
I've been a big fan of Mike for years but I have just begun listening to the podcasts. I have to say that they are both extremely informative and entertaining as well. I highly recommend it!

Awesome, To the Point, Informative!
I started listening to this podcast a couple of weeks ago (a little late to the game) and have been blazing through them. I crave multiple outlets of learning and staying up to date, and have found this podcast to be super helpful in both of those regards as well as simply being entertaining :). The fact that they are each about 20 minutes means I can easily make time for them as well. As a student, I have appreciated a handful of questions that they are answering being student-focused too. Thanks for putting in the awesome work guys, and I look forward to being caught up soon!

PT Pearls of Wisdom Podcasts!
I am a firm believer in that if you want to become a better Physical Therapist 1) keep up with relevant continuing education and research 2) become a great listener and 3) surround yourself with brilliant folks! In 2013, I started my solo practice, MovEvolution Physical Therapy. I gradually developed a niche for shoulders and knees. During this time, I came across Mike Reinold’s site and, eventually, his podcast --- The Ask Mike Reinold Show. There is a lot of useless talk, banter and self-promotion out there, distracting the podcast listener from the main content --- which is why I only subscribe to a few podcasts. Here's why I keep checking out Mike’s Reinold’s podcasts: - he adds no fluff or fillers and gets right to the good stuff.! - his podcasts are fun, succinct, easily digestible and immediately applicable to one’s practice. - he puts the “proof in the pudding”, backing up everything he says with both experience and research. - he surrounds himself with brilliant, talented clinicians with a nice balance of opinions and expertise. - he knows shoulders and knees. - he really loves teaching as well as learning. I have no financial or promotional ties to Mike Reinold or his organization. I just believe that, in our field, it’s important to share knowledge and the source of such knowledge. Physical therapists, get smarter and listen to Mike’s podcasts. Richard Symister, MSPT, CSCS Owner, MovEvolution Physical Therapy (Brooklyn, NY)

Wicked good show
This is a great show. Lots of valuable lessons being taught. They keep it simple and get to the point. Very refreshing. Keep it up

Great topics, good insight.
This is my favorite podcast right now. Relevant topics to anyone associated with strength & conditioning and rehab. I would like to see some long form episodes (~1 hour) where the panel goes more in depth on multiple situations (example: an hour on SLAP tears). Clearly a lot of clinical experience being shared by this group; thanks!.

Definitely appreciate this podcast for the insight and relaxed atmosphere. Mike and crew discuss sport PT and non-clinically related topics more like a comfortable conversation amongst colleagues. I love learning from these guys and the guests they have on the show, keep doing what you're doing!

Staff Physical Therapist
I have been in practice for a little over a year in a rural area. I see all ages and a huge range of physical abilities. Most of my patients are only training for the sport called Life, but I love Mike's philosophy that performance training can inform rehab. I am inspired and I learn so much from my colleagues in strength and conditioning.

Bordering on Irrelevant
After listening to this podcast every week since it premiered, I have been waiting for it to develop, evolve, or improve to provide practical information. Each week it is a bunch of guys sitting in a room just throwing out theories and random thoughts. When someone asks a concrete quesiton, I always try to see if they will actually answer it or if they will "sidestep" the question. The PTs and team from Champion seem to put almost no preperation into the podcast. This week when someone asked "Are Contrast Baths Effective" everyone basically had no answer but "they feel good." I thought Mike Reinhold is a research based PT-it would be nice if he actually put some preperation into his podcast and helped PTs with practical informatoin to improve their practice. When someone has asked for practical treatment advice, often you are directed to pay for Mike's "inner Circle" to get more information. Please just answer the question and give an example or two. Maybe do the questions, but add in a "Tip of the Week?" An exercise or treatment the PTs have found effective? How about finding a female to balance out all the guys? This review is written by a guy-just I think it sounds like a bunch of guys eating lunch and reading random questions from the internet. Actually-that really is all it is at this point. It is listenable for the most part and short. I almost gave it 1 or 2 stars, but there is still potential to help people treat effectively and I hope they work on this.

Favorite podcast
I am a third year Student DPT looking for motivation, guidance and philosophies to help guide my practice and sought out this podcast, which has been an excellent forum for that. Being that my interests are performance enhancement and sports medicine, the guys at Champion provide insight into their world treating athletes and give students like myself motivation to continue down that path!

GREAT podcast for veteran and novice PTs, PTAs, and trainers. I really like the Q&A forum. Wish it was around when I was a new grad! I have shared this link with all of my colleagues as well as the many students who have matriculated through my small sports medicine clinic. Mike and Lenny offer sage advice to the novice( follow the work, align yourself to learn from good mentors, "there is something to learn from every experience"). They also remind the veteran to self educate, and value the teaching process with both students and the patient. Bravo gentlemen!!!
