The episode was so bad and the quality of the speech was so low, the speaker was not focused at all and it gave you vertigo on was she was talking

I’m not sure if Ted Talk just means an opinion of someone ‘qualified’ but the content here is not researched and based on opinions and insufficient material to the title itself. I listened to a talk on why there’s no Native American restaurants, his speech covered: because the government ‘white-washed’ the Indians. I’m sure there have been processes like this in the past to convert Natives to their colonizers standard of life but this doesn’t answer the question. There are still lots of Native American culture still alive, the govt didn’t completely destroy everything as the claim is. It was motivating the listeners to use the nature in a respectful way, which is nice and then stole all the applause for politically trendy words about “The Wall” and use of profanity. Very interesting as to what type of crowd is attracted by such an event.

I love ted talks because they are so empowering and you can learn a thing or two from them.

I love listening to Ted Talks. It’s the perfect accompaniment to my walks. The length and pace are great. The topics are interesting. The variety is enjoyable.

I make long drives during the weekends to see my boyfriend. 2 hours up Friday night m, 2 hours back Sunday night/Monday morning. Now I wouldn't give my time with him up for anything, but that drive is enough to drive people crazy! I used to just listen to music and it would make the drive seem infinitely longer! Now I listen to these TedTalks and they've helped me so much! I don't feel like I'm wasting time on the road! I'm actually learning and have stuff to discuss with him when I get there too. I also like npr's Ted talks since they're longer and only need to listen to 2 for the duration of the drive. It's such a life saver.

A minha melhor descoberta de 2012!!

After listening to a few discussions. I was thoroughly hooked. But, the "Call to Men" is the taping that moved me the most. Every male (young & old) should view that discussion.

Loved Kathryn Schulz and enjoyed Mike Rowe. Definitely worth viewing and discussing.

How wonderful to be exposed to wisdom & novelty.
