This podcast has helped me become more involved with the fandom. I laughed at all the jokes and I really think Caitlin and Lucia are doing a great job. However, the more recent episodes aren’t as enthusiastic as the earlier episodes. I still love listening to it.

I have been listening to this show for five years, and I absolutely love it. Caitlin and Lucia bring such passion to every episode, and it is such a joy to listen to.

I have been listening to his podcast for years now and always look forward to new episodes. Caitlin and Lucia are so intelligent in their analysis of songs and approach to commenting on issues in our society. They seem like the best people to be friends with! They can be super fun and silly, getting excited while uncovering new Harry conspiracies on Twitter, or reacting to Grammy nominations in real time, but also serious and astute in their observations of problematic song lyrics and current events. A must listen for any One Direction or Harry Styles fan! My favorite is when they talk about Louis though, like the recent episode on his live stream and new song. I love Louis, and I love when they give him all the love and attention he deserves!! Thanks for the amazing dedication to the podcast. You two are the best!

I love this show but recently it’s been seeing very dry, like their not sure how to talk about things? It’s strange cause their old episodes, from a couple year back were so entertaining but recently it’s been not as captivating.

If you’re not a Harry Styles fan this podcast isn’t for you. This podcast should be called Harry Styles Talk instead of 1D Talk. I’m a huge One Direction fan and I’m enjoying each the boys solo career. I’m proud of all of them but everyone has their favorite. Which is fine but every episode doesn’t have to be about Harry. Even when episodes are supposed to be all about Liam, Louis, Niall or Zayn the episode somehow ends up being about Harry. He’s propped up so much over the others and it’s about annoying. The quarantine episodes are lackluster and feel like the hosts don’t want to do this anymore. They don’t have to and if they want they can just release episodes when something of import happens.

I don’t know if it’s quarantine or the hosts beginning to grow out of the topic, but this podcast used to be so much more high energy, upbeat, and fun. It’s still ok, but just ok. I think the appeal of a podcast is listening to people who are excited to talk about something you’re also interested in and the hosts here just don’t sound excited anymore. Which is totally fine, you don’t have to do a one direction podcast forever, but while you still are doing it u could at least be happy abt it. If you listen to older episodes the hosts are always laughing, having a good time, and it’s genuinely very fun to listen to. Nowadays there’s no chemistry between the hosts, lots of “um”s and “uh”s, and what sounds like a total lack of interest

I recently started listening to the podcast (slowly working my way through the 100 plus episodes) and I wanted to compliment you on the awesome job you do each and every week. Your show has definitely helped to fill the One Direction shaped hole that developed in my heart since the start of the hiatus. Keep up the good work!

I've been meaning to review Talk Direction for ages but I can never find words adequate enough to express just how much I love it. Caitlin and Cara are so funny, kind, and smart, and this podcast that they've created is the perfect mixture of silly and serious. I started listening in the fall of 2015 and since then it has become my favorite podcast and I look forward to it each week. It's a podcast about One Direction but even if you're not a 1D fan you'll still enjoy it. They use One Direction as a catalyst to talk about all sorts of things. They analyze the music and culture of One Direction through a feminist lens and are always striving to educate their listeners on social issues and learn more themselves. Caitlin and Cara have an impressive ability to view 1D with a critical eye and hold them accountable when they need to, while remaining devoted, die hard fans. It’s not an easy thing to do but they pull it off well and it’s one of the things I love most about the podcast. Talk Direction isn’t a “comedy” podcast but I'm constantly laughing out loud while listening. If I’m having a hard day I’ll sometimes go back and listen to past episodes and they never fail to cheer me up. Caitlin and Cara are like a bright beacon of hope, light and safety in a dark world, much like One Direction. They’re very creative and are always doing super fun and interesting segments, for example one of my favorites is when they take a subject (often lyrics from the band) and do imagery exercises with it. They're both really poetic and imaginative and it's so peaceful and relaxing to hear them talk about something like light or clouds and how that relates to One Direction. They’re super dedicated and have even written beautiful poems and short stories just for their podcast listeners. They put a lot of time and effort into interacting with their listeners as well which makes the podcast all that more engaging. I'm honestly so thankful that this podcast exists, it has enriched my life so much. If you're looking for something to make you think, entertain you, make you laugh, gently educate you on social issues, or if you just want some company for an hour and a half, give this podcast a listen! Caitlin and Cara are open and honest with their listeners, and they have a very casual tone so it really feels like you're listening to two of your best pals talk about something they love. I will definitely be listening to this podcast for as long as they make it, and I hope they continue to make it for a very long time. Would give 100 stars if I could!!!

I am not a One Direction fan but I must say this is a great accomplishment. The charisma of these two hosts have really drawn me in and consistantly keep my attention. I'm looking foward for more work from these two.

I'm a REALLY OLD fan, so I don't have a lot of (or any) people to discuss in detail my thoughts and ideas about the boys. I especailly love Harry, so totally winning!, but I love all the boys. My roomate last year was a young girl from Colombia who loves 1D and cried on the day Zayn left. She made me watch the Perfect video and I fell hard. I absolutely love listening to Talk Direction. Being the person I am, I listen to music nearly all the time (may I add that I practically listen to a full 1D album everyday/every other day). I'm not saying that listening to 1D gets old; I could listen to them 24/7, but Talk Direction offers a, for say, alternative. I love it because they are just plain fun to listen to, I like hearing news, and the positive vibe Cara and Caitlyn bring. I know that it's currently a hard time since OTRA recently ended, but these two remind me that there is still a lot to look forward to. I especially like listening when I have things like chores to do, or just lounging around the house. You should definitely listen!

I’m not a big fan of 1D. I can barely remember all their names, but I decided to try out this podcast because a lot of my friends are fans and I always miss the 1D conversations/ jokes they make. Therefore, I listened to the first episode to educate myself about this boy band. The witty commentary, funny connections and comments the ladies make in this hour long podcast about one direction very entertaining and engaging. So, shoutout to these two ladies for making me want to actually learn and maybe someday become a 1D fan myself! Until then, I will continue to listen to each episode! Thank you!

I really enjoyed listening to the first two podcasts, and I'm actually listening to the 3rd one right now. The hosts are entertaining and nice to listen to, and they do a good job picking interesting topics to discuss. Plus 1D is one of my bigger intersts so that helped a lot I'm sure. I'm looking forward to hearing more of this podcast in the future!

Caitlin and Cara do a wonderful job in these first couple episodes. Their personalities are charming, sweet, and they’re definitely passionate One Direction fans. Additionally, it’s quite refreshing to hear hosts who are both well-spoken and intelligent discuss their favorite band. It’s a great podcast for any One Direction fan! 5 stars!

I listen to a lot of podcasts, but this one really made me happy. Not only was I entertained by the two hosts, this podcast made me think and respond to a common topic of this age. They were able to bring new things to the table and I honestly loved their personalities and vibe. I am for sure going to make this 1D podcast my number 1 go to.
