Pay 5$ for adds super sad
I pay 5$ to tenderfoot tv so I don’t have to listen to adds and yet u just say the adds yourself at the begging of the episodes and on top of that you repeat the freakin websites your pushing over and over… sad cuz this show the 1st episode anyways was actually good (cuz it had no commercial being pushed by you)….sorry 5$ isn’t enough I guess 😢

Wanting a season 3
Come on Phillip Holloway give us a new season. I enjoy your show and have been waiting patiently for you to come back. Great listen.

Repeats
The Wideman story was repetitive and missing so much good details.

Where are you?
Is this show gonna return??

Bias
Just listen to the story of Cooper Harris, tons of info left out, tons of commercials, and a boisterous claim that if a jury finds them not guilty they must not be guilty! Come on, any true crime junkie knows that is a lie. Casey Anthony killed her baby, Michael Jackson was a predator, and OJ got away with murder. Lost all respect for this podcast would not waste my time

Maurices opinions (Tara grinstead (glove means planned to kill her) and ONLY planned) sounds like over ego tunnel vision! (Be headed elderly lk couple) it’s possible that the mans face was scratched up or others marks on the head was feared to present evidence towards whomever done this horrific crime and they felt they had no choice. So many crime shows out there people are aware of even a cat hair being left at the scene can convince a jury. You can’t really profile killers unless it’s a serial killer in which victims have similarities! Outside of the box ! That’s what’s needed.

love this show!
The host is a smart lawyer with a lovely southern accent who actually lets the people he interviews talk instead of talking over them like most crime shows. also the sheriff in the elisodes about the lake october murders is incredible, i wish more police officers were of of his caliber.

Great show but...
The show is awesome, but you've ruined it for me with all the commercials. It feels like it 25% show and 75% commercials. If you could fix this then I'd definitely come back and be a loyal listener.

Commercials galore
Frequent and LONG commercial breaks, like 3 minutes of commercials before the show starts and 3-4 breaks throughout the show. Pretty excessive.

I loved the first season
The first season was great, but the second season devolved into a series of lectures on the inadequacy of our justice system. One of the reasons for minimum sentences is that judges tend to put some people back out on the street too soon, and they reoffend over and over. I’m thinking specifically of the guy who kept getting short sentences for stealing rare books. At some point you need to throw out the key, which is the reason 3 strikes is so popular. He may not have physically hurt anyone, but he did cause major damage to the lives of those book dealers. Non-violent crimes are still crimes and need to be stopped. Also, you have the best theme song of any podcast and stopped using it during the second season! Why?

Hoping for a new season soon
This pod is really fantastic. I hope for a new season soon!

Thorough
Holloway doesn’t just breeze over these cases. He and his team dig for the truth and ALL the evidence they can find. They picked up the Wideman murders a couple years ago. It’s not just a coincidence that there’s finally been an arrest in a 17 year old murder.

HA
The Sheriff in Putnam county FLORIDA with a 100% conviction rate just means he knows where all the black people live. That’s not police work. Just starting to listen. It’s not going too well, it’s boring, mumbling voice of Sheriff. IDK why hosts think it’s better to do this instead of narrating events. This sounds like bad AM talk radio. Fast forwarding...that didn’t work either. Something an old person listens to.

Informative
I really have enjoyed your podcast so far. I find it realistic and I wish more of the population really understood how this system (doesn’t) work. I have enjoyed all the episodes with one exception- the episode on lethal injection. The thing is why do we care if the people who are guilty of these heinous crimes suffer? They certainly did not care about the suffering of their victims or their families. In most cases lethal injection is a far less terrifying and painful death than these men inflicted on innocent people. JMO

Commercial Volume too Loud
A decent podcast for the most part, but the commercial volume is some much louder than the podcast. Please turn it down!!!

More gold from Tenderfoot
I highly recommend listening to this podcast if you are in to crime stories. Much like the rest of the products that come from Payne and the people at Tenderfoot, this Podcast is fantastic.

Alford Plea
A good podcast that addresses the practical and actual issues often encountered in criminal proceedings. With that said, the Federal Judge in the Alford Plea podcast - I assume he was an Article III judge - was embarrassingly naive, and he thinks trials are necessary to ascertain the “truth.” I have to wonder has he ever actually practiced law. I find the truth is rarely determined in a criminal trial. He sounds like a judge that presumes the defendant must be guilty or why else was he arrested, completely out of touch with reality. Also, the Judge talks about the Defendant proving his innocence, no the State has to prove the Defendant is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, the Defendant does not have the burden of persuasion or proof, and Alford Plea is used when Defendant is innocent but does not want to pay the trial tax, or was overcharged and faces possible sentences of 20 years - it becomes too risky to not enter an Alford Plea where Defendant can maintain his innocence but avoid the risk of excessive minimum sentencing.

MUST LISTEN!!
I love educating myself to better myself and this podcast ensures I do just that! I encourage everyone, rather your with the innocence project or a prosecutor to listen learn and do better! God bless & thank you! Keep them coming!!! KEEPS GETTING BETTER!!! Hands down, the best. This podcast is easy to listen to and again, simply educational. You don’t feel like your in a classroom yet you walk away feeling like you just aced the bar exam ( as an interior designer & advocate for the innocence project I’m not taking the bar any time soon lol) but try and stop me feeling like a genius after listening:)

Excellent
Season 2 was excellent! Every American should listen to this podcast to understand what’s happening in our legal system.

Well done
Phillip Holloway has a way of untangling the legal jargon into understandable words. I always look forever to his commentaries.

Great podcast
Great podcast that looks at the justice system from the inside!

Great podcast to listen to
I love listening to this podcast. Things about the legal system are being exposed that are not talked about enough. The hosts and guests speak clearly and in terms for us all to understand.

Music
I really enjoy the theme music! I think it is perfect for this podcast.

One of the best
I don't know how I haven't heard of this one sooner. One of the best I've listened to. Heard about it on Up and Vanished which is another great one

Loved Season 1, not a fan of Season 2
I like the 1st season with specific crimes being covered. No enjoying the 2nd season topic. I will not finish listening to the second season.

What is up with the editing?
I like this podcast, I really do. What in the heck is up with the editing where the end of one episode is spliced in to the next episode? It’s like whoever edited the podcast didn’t listen to the final result....

Informative!
Enjoy listening and learning about our legal system and how it all works.

Too many commercials!
Can’t do it! Just not enjoyable with so many commercial interruptions. Good grief!

So informative!
But holy cow! So, so, so many commercials. I’ve never heard so many in any podcast.

Can we go back to covering specific crimes?
I loved the 1st season. I was hoping for more like that.

Very interesting!
Love the season about the criminal justice system! Would love a deep dive into polygraphs!

Very Insightful
I started streaming Season 2, because the workings of the criminal justice system are of interest to me. I’ve enjoyed the episodes so far. I even referred it to a friend who is a former Deputy who left the force to be a lawyer 👍

Ho-Hum
Holloway is an amazing story teller. I travel a lot with my work and podcasts help with the monotony of the highway. Season 1 was great but season 2 is disappointing so far. Do not get me wrong....these innocent men’s lives were ruined and things need to change. However, I’m sick and tired of hearing about the woes of people of color. This is not a true crime podcast. It’s another soapbox platform for the time we are in at this moment.

Already heard this...
I was under the impression that this was a new season and although yes it’s a good podcast it’s super disappointing to hype up a new season for it to be a repeat.
@amberfoxfitness
Great new info about the legal system
Great podcast! Loved season 1, loving season 2 even more! Thanks for tackling the real issues with the legal system!

Season 2 Starts Off With A Bang
Season 1 was awesome and now Season 2, with a bit of a change up, seems like it should be required “reading” for future lawyers and other careers in the criminal justice.

Deletes ‘season’ 2 and then reuploads it a year later verbatim...
Already released the season a year ago, deleted it and put it on a paid service. Now they just reloaded it to Apple and act like it’s a new season. SMDH

Is this a S2 repeat??
What happened to the previous S2? Is the “preview” of S2 that was just released a rehash of the S2 that seems to have completely disappeared from both here and Luminary? I really feel like I’ve heard all of those cases before during specials on Plea Deals, different Forensics methods, etc. on this very pod, but it’s like they no longer exist. Am I crazy or what is going on?

It’s just ok
This podcast starts out great then just fizzles. Updates are rare and not very satisfying

Great! Then it really misses the mark.
The first season of Sworn was fantastic because of the excellent storytelling and narration from the host. The Lake Oconee Murders had the high quality reporting you’d find in a Dateline or 48 Hours Mystery episode. Beware- the true crime stories we all obsess over is limited to Season 1. The production staff has decided to pursue other topics within the justice system. While that alone doesn’t make this podcast bad per say, it does mean the content will shift from being largely entertaining to being mostly educational. My advice- if you choose to depart from true crime, why not just start a new but separate podcast about the judicial system. It’s definitely a worthwhile topic, just not the expectation of “Sworn” listeners.

There are other podcasts
Season 1 was great as it was based on doing some deep dives into Georgia crimes. Then it became a paid podcast. There is way to much out there to pay for this podcast. I am all for making money. It just won’t be from me.

Great find!
I stumbled across this one day, and haven’t been able to stop. Very very well put together and easy to follow. I love that each case is in 3 parts with real interviews.

Sworn-Phil Holloway
Love Phil’s segments on Up and Vanished and his explanations and delivery on Sworn. Loved the 3-parter on his case with Mom who was accused of shooting husband. The third episode was great and when Phil started crying telling about the Judge’s sentencing in that case, I was crying in my car, stuck in traffic, like a fool! That one got to me! Way to go Phil! Realized what a decent, caring man that he is. Loved that he showed his feelings and sincerity! Waiting for more Phil and crew!

Huge fan!!
I’m loving this podcast so far!! I’m thrilled to see attention to these cold cases. Very exciting! With today’s technology and social media presence, no case should go unsolved. I hope all the folks involved find the justice they deserve.
