I’ve listened to many podcasts but this podcast I love to listen to. First of all something about GDs voice to me feels reassuring and caring. His topics are on point and doesn’t blabber away. And I like that he shares his listeners stories that other people can relate to.

This podcast is great. It’s helping me in coping with my divorce.

It’s December 2021 and I’m been listening nonstop even though then ended years ago, this has been incredibly helpful for me, divorced from my high school sweetheart recently and still dealing but this helps, thank you.

This podcast is helping me so much! After 12 years of marriage I felt lost when my husband left for another girl.

I just found out that I’ll be getting divorced. This podcast has been a huge help for me—not just the great advice and counsel, but hearing from someone else who has gone through this.

Solid advice, but for those who are not super religious he can be a bit too preachy. He seems to do all the right things and is very nice. Sometimes his strategies don’t work with an ex spouse who doesn’t have the same level of empathy. I listen to it every night because it is helpful to hear someone who has gone through a heartbreaking divorce. Divorce can be a very lonely time.

My wife asked for a divorce after 16 years of marriage and 4 kids. My first marriage her second. This podcast helped me review where I am at in the process, helped me decide I’m wasting my time bargaining with her. Seems like GD stopped keeping current with the podcast, but the content is timeless !! He gives great insight & information that is simple & short.

Almost to the divorce finalization and struggling but this podcast has been helpful and informative as to what I'm feeling or what I should be doing. Since we can feel lost in this time! Others don't really go into the topics and lead you to a website to pay money for the help you seek. NOT this podcast it actually tells you the information and has helpful references. I’ve found these podcasts very helpful as I navigate the process of divorce. Episodes are short, focused & insightful. I often find myself feeling validated (I’m not crazy or alone in my thinking!) and assured that divorce is something that can be survived.

This podcast is an amazing resource for anyone facing the pain and heart break of divorce. The encouragement and content have been so helpful and beneficial for me personally, G.D really knows his stuff. If you have a friend or family member facing divorce, send them this podcast.

This podcast helped me get through a very dark and emotional time. He is spot on with many of his comments and observations. I was also attending DivorceCare at the same time and the synergy of experiencing them both at the same time was very useful. I truly appreciated his format of one subject at a time for only 10 to 15 minutes. Many times I found myself nodding in agreement while listening. If you are or will be going through this trauma we call divorce this will help!

This podcast really helped me to sort through a lot of issues I was having during my divorce. I'm not a very religious person, but I don't find GD's advice in these areas to be too over the top or forced. He has a very respectful take or leave it approach when he talks about it and still is able to encorporate all beliefs. That's why this advice was so great. It's universal. Not specifically for any one set of people. I'm very happy I found this. It has helped the healing proces. And while I'm the only one I know right now who I know is going through a divorce, if a family or friend ever has to go through this I know this will be one of the things I recommend to start that difficult journey forward.

Thanks for sticking with your podcast, GD. My wife has asked for a mediated divorce. We are currently working with a mediator, and I am in a divorce support group at a local church. While I am extremely hopeful of a reconciliation for our marriage of 30+ years, that's not the current trajectory. I very much consider myself married for life, but am preparing for the reality that the outcome of our precious marriage is in my wife's hands right now. GD, your podcasts have helped me deal with this very excruciating, difficult time in my life. I'm 57 but have never really been confronted with grief before now. You give solid advice and suggestions which have been extremely helpful. I'm on Episode 35 or so, having started at 1 (for some reason Episodes prior to 116 or so are not available on Itunes, but I found them otherwise), and plan to continue listening regardless of the outcome of my marriage.
