Kurt is an fantastic interviewer/host and has an amazing skill of making every minute of the podcast entertaining...no matter what level of geek you are.

I actually had the pleasure of meeting Kurt during the hunt for the new The Force Awakening toys. It was on Force Friday and he actually talked about our epic failed night of hunting on one of his episodes:). He told me he had a pod cast and after I heard the first episode I was hooked!!! I have listened to all 100 plus episodes and they have a been excellent. It is great to know that there are many misunderstood geeks like us out there!! I don't know why it has taken me 100 episodes to finally get around to leave a review. Been with the show since the start (does that make me P1?) and have to say it's easily one of my favorite podcasts. Kurt and Kelly work well together in creating (sometimes) intelligent conversations about geek topics and life as we know it. Great show that keeps getting better

Stay Cool, Geek host Kurt Larson is one of the most excitable geeks I know, and his enthusiasm is contagious when you listen to this fun and funny podcast that both celebrates and dissects the geek community at large and the things it obsesses over. If you're into comic books and superhero movies, this show can't be missed. Now if only we could get producer Kelly Dolan turned around on Guardians of the Galaxy ...

I absolutely love the storytelling ability of Kurt Larson, as well as Kelly Dolan's ability to ask thoughtful questions and steers the conversation. Excellent mix of up-to-date geek news and general popular culture review. Kelly and Kurt make a great team, I highly recommend checking it out.

I appreciate that both Kurt and Kelly are thoughtful chaps, and want to beat cynicism to death with a wooden club. They are positive and enthusiastic while maintaining objectivity, which is something all geeks aspire to be. Or at least I assume they do.

Kurt and his producer Kelly are a dynamic duo. They have the most hilarious disagreements and talk about all things relevent not only to geeks, but to anyone interested in the entertainment industry. Give it a listen!

This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, podcast! It’s so fun to hear the back and forth banter of these guys. The stories Kurt tells always have me laughing in the car!

Ok, so I have listened to this show since day one, and it is really entertaining. Kurt (the host) and Kelly (the "producer") bounce topics back and forth with relative ease and cover a wide range of topics from film and television to comic books and general life in suburbia. If you are afraid this is too geek-centric, give it a listen, Kelly is somewhat of a geek noob so Kurt usually explains things in a way anyone can understand. Easily my favorite podcast hour of every week and I listen to about a dozen regularly.

This has become my number one must listen to podcast every week. This podcast is fun, informative and positive, its really enjoyable to listen to the banter between Kurt and Kelly. In addition to great content the audio on this show is fantastic. It honestly sounds like you are listening to this on satellite radio, very crisp and clean. If you love Geek culture, give this a listen, you won't be disaappointed.

Not only do these two guys have a lot of fun, I’m impressed with the quality of the producing of this show. Clean sound, great music, well produced and edited. Content-wise, you don’t even have to be at their uber-geek level to really enjoy hanging out with a couple of very smart, very funny guys talking about the pop-culture they love and how it affects their lives. I’ve found episodes at times be very funny and entertaining, and others really very heartfelt. Just a real genuine real-deal kind of show. Love it!

Kurt Larson is a fantastic podcaster who clearly knows his craft. Despit being a general geek podcast, it has topics for everyone including monster movies, baseball, comics, acting, and balancing your geek loves with being an adult. His producer Kelly not only has produced some of my favorite podcasts but actively joins in with his own points. Add this to your set list of podcasts and you will not be disappointed.

Whether you're a die hard nerd in his 30's or a woman in her 20's still building her nerd cred, this podcast will keep you wanting more! My husband and I are avid listeners and love relating to Mr. & Mrs. Geek. Kurt Larson and Kelly Dolan never put you in a dull moment. Be prepared to get in the heat of the moment with film reviews, action figure talk, and pretty much any and everything geek. Not to mention the intense drama of trash can debacles, Halloween candy, and alcohol...too much alcohol.

I've never been a fan of podcasts, but I am hooked after a binge listening session of the first 20 episodes of Stay Cool, Geek. After exhausting all available episodes I feel like a junkie looking for his next fix. You can only hit refresh so many times before you realize you have a problem...

This is a fantastic show for all that are interested in geeky pop culture (comics, movies, Star Wars, wrestling, Disney, etc). Seriously, it's so good, I even got my wife (a semi-she-geek) hooked on the show! We often listen to this show and Ears of Steel together in the car, frequently pausing the shows to discuss the topics at hand amongst ourselves. In addition to the entertainment value, I also enjoy the points in the show when Kurt takes a moment to self-reflect. Being a mid-30s creative professional and family man, I can relate to Kurt's thoughts on how to balance life's responsibilities with longtime interests and passion for things some might consider immature. You are certainly not alone. Hats off to Kurt and the podcast's producer Kelly "The Brain" Dolan for providing such a great show! Check it out! P.S. Can't wait for SCG vs. EoS cage match! Even if you aren't a nerd or a geek, you will still love this podcast. If you are, well, then you'll love it even more. It's more than just a glimpse at geek stuff; it's really an examination of the adult life of children of the 80s. We're too young to be old, but too old to like Justin Bieber. Love the random Star Wars references (and even the not-so-random ones). It's exceptionally well-produced, which is something that I find lacking in a lot of podcasts. If you want a good place to start, the superhero episode was mind-blowing. It's easy to listen to, and you'll wonder where the time went. Just one of my favorites!

Love listening to Kurt and Kelly! Kurt has a seemingly endless supply of entertaining stories and oozes personality. Kelly's voice is like a combination of Fergie and Jesus and his timing is perfect. The show is genuine, geeky and cool....look forward to it every week.

At first I was hesitant to listen because of all the bandwagon waterdowned "geek" shows out there. This isnt that show and was pleasantly surprised to hear a fresh perspective from someone who actually HAS some insight to the business. You may not always agree with Kurts opinions but you can at least respect his point of view. Kelly does a great job keeping Kurt grounded, on point and asks the questions I wonder myself if i were sitting across from him. Together they sift through all the nerd news WE care about are and add some genuine moments shared to us from their lives which made me quickly relate to them. The format at times may be a little long at times BUT its still entertaining as a whole. I was hooked from the start and see the growth as a show and as people. Will Kurt will actually get that star wars pinball machine back to its true home?

I have a 45-60 minute commute to work and listening to this podcast makes the time fly by. Kurt is so much fun to listen to. He has some great insights and tons of funny stories. You will be throughly entertained by this podcast and will come away with some very interesting trivia about the "geek" world.

I feel like this sort of radio would be right at home at the ole indy 103 station in LA from a few years ago. It reminds me a lot of punk rock public access stuff I loved as a kid. Sort of Waynes World meets Mark and Brian(KLOS)…or something. If you existed in the 80’s, 90’s or ever been to or thought about going to LA… you will probably get a kick of these two.

Seriously. I’ve always thought myself a bit of a dork and when I first listened to Kurt’s podcast I knew that I had hit the jackpot. I love listening to podcasts when I am stuck in traffic or out on a run and the thing about this podcast is that Kurt is so dynamic and super easy to listen to. He has a flair for telling stories and his “Kurtisms” are quite charming. Kelly is an excellent partner for Kurt in that he knows just enough to qualify as a Geek but can just as easily be entertained by one of Kurt’s stories. Trust me. You will be baffled how quickly the hour flies by. Stay Cool Geeks! (and dorks!)

No seriously. Do YOU know the difference between the current Spider-Man story arc and any before it? Not I. OR maybe you do but you don't know what it takes to make a micro-budget film. It is allll here. Honestly this podcast consistently blows me away and just keeps getting better. The openness and honesty of the hosts plus the professionalism and quality of the podcast alone makes it worthwhile, but as an adult nerd the subject matter is right up my alley. I am telling you right now that if you listen to just ONE episode - YOU WILL BE HOOKED! I am always entertained, and always looking forward to the next one. Thanks Kurt and Kelly! Can't wait for next week :D

Loved this show immediately! Kurt is funny & fascinating and not like any other podcaster I've heard. And he has a great producer in Kelly who can usually right the ship (I know.) Glad Larson jumped into the pod game. Still, one day I will crush him..,but he's fantastic! Give it a listen, geeks!

Kurt’s podcast (with host Kelly - Kelley?) is a refreshingly honest hour of awesome. Confronting what it’s like to be a man in his 30’s with a kid hiding right under the surface is something I can definitely connect to, and this witty duo keeps it moving. I look forward to every week!
