I don’t even collect stamps, I eagerly tune to each episode just for the banter. In the process I have learned a lot about stamps. Totally useless knowledge for me but it’s fun to get insight into a hobby some people (including the hosts here) are obviously seriously passionate about.

I have been listening for years and enjoy it because they talk about stamps and they are consistent with over 400 episodes. BUT, I will often FF past meaningless banter, and as a collector I’m not as interested in the money as they are but more about the collection of stamps rather than the obsession over values. Mark is the best, I listen whenever he talks.

I enjoy listening to this podcast as a collector. Sometimes they keep the annoying violin background music going while they are talking. Incredibly disturbing and annoying. I can’t fathom why they do that. Doesn’t add a bit to the podcast but annoying aggravating aloud mess.

If you asked me a few years ago, I'd have said this podcast was top notch. Expert and beginner topics, knowledgeable hosts. But things have not progressed but rather declined as the podcast has aged. Here's a recipe to improve: -drop the politics and bias etc (if you can't say anything nice about certain groups, don't say anything at all) except where it's really relevant to philately. -get back to delving into a focused philatelic topic per episode. -Stop about 95% of the economics and counterfeit postage discussion. Listening to you guys ramble on about the same tired things is just....repetitive. We heard you the first time and the tenth. -Caj, as smart as you are, stop talking over your guests and cohosts. You have assembled a great panel here, let them do their thing a bit more unfettered. As the main "host", ask 10x more questions and then actually listen to the answers. Its breathtaking that with the expertise and varying perspectives in the room that your voice is always heard the longest and loudest. -Lastly, perhaps most importantly, bring some guests on again. It will redefine the dynamic of the group, reinvigorate the discussions and finally, bring you all back on the topic you excel at...stamps!

I subscribed to the podcast to learn more about stamp collecting rather than hear negative commentary about the LGBT community.

Love the show and the topics but getting distracted by the constant background sound effects. The last few shows with the kittens meowing continuously, sometimes over the hosts, was way to distracting. Enough!

Great show. Good gang of collectors. Love the way they interact. Just subscribed on iPhone. Would you folks consider covering the Hindenburg flights?

They have made anti-LGBT comments and made fun of certain stamps like Hip Hop, etc. It’s clear they are voting for Trump, which is fine, but this isn’t a podcast for me because it excludes a lot of people in the philately community.

This podcast is remarkably content-free, given its length. I don't really mind the jokes/banter, but I think the balance is way off. I have listened to and been subscribed for years, but today I have resolved to cease supporting this trainwreck of a podcast. I wouldn't say this podcast is a hoax, but it IS a scam!

This podcast is one of the best philatelic shows available, and the team does an excellent job of interspersing stamp news with meaningful expert topics on the various aspects of philately. Keep up the good work!

I gave up on this. Lots and lots of palavering some of which teaters on the edge of adult content. That's not how I want to spend my time.

Panel just jokes around so much and doesn’t ever get to the stamp collecting part. In a 45 minute episode, you might be lucky to get about 5 minutes worth of decent content. The rest is just them making jokes and telling us they are going off-topic/off-script and how much time they’ve wasted.

As an avid collector it pains me to say this: here is your opportunity to get five to ten minutes of stamp news intermixed with thirty to forty minutes of inane banter.

I saw your entry at Chicagopex and jumped on a follow. Listened to first episode today (of course the chicagopex review)—- very enjoyable and love the fact you are even doing a podcast on collecting. Entertaining and a great way to help promote the hobby! Keep up the good work. Will be a regular listener and will share for sure.

Panel is knowledgeable. Please provide more substantive information and less self indulgent banter. Present format imposes on the listener. It’s neither entertaining nor interesting.

I wish this was an hour long too much stamp information and not enough time to really tell all. The loose banter adds to the enjoyment of learning about stamps and related stuff.

Very educational stamp collecting podcast. Discovered this podcast a couple weeks ago and have listened to approx. 30 episodes so far. Keep up the great work its very much appreciated.

This is a fast-paced, informative show that is more entertaining than you would expect a podcast about stamp collecting to be. But maybe that's because I'm a stamp collector. If you are a stamp collector, and have a tolerance for bad jokes [crickets] and tendentious theories of why George Washington is actually the 24th President of the United States, then you need to listen and subscribe. The level of expertise is quite high, but the show is not afraid to go low. And you will laugh.

Really enjoy this podcast. I learn a lot each episode.

These people are in the business, generally knowledgeable, committing full scale effort to producing enjoyable shows on schedule. The ads are recorded messages from stamp dealers you know, and seem like part of the show, not interruption. They promote shows and other stamp related endeavors often by including interviews. It's a fun show, you should listen.

I enjoy listening to this group of people discussing stamps. It is fun and informative, really feel like the discussions you hear in a stamp store or show. I hope this podcast continues for a long time.

Got to be the best stamp collecting podcast out there, the other ones don't even come close... SSHT sounds like a group of friends hanging out that happen to love stamps, and you feel like you are sitting in the room with them! Good content, good audio, frequent new episodes, what's not to love!?!?
