I absolutely love the podcast. Just started listening a week ago and I’m hooked. It’s reignited my passion for drawing and creativity. I was wondering if there were ever any titles that were scrapped for any shows you’ve created before landing on what they were? I always thought a good alternate title for Danny phantom would be “are you there ghosts? It’s me, Danny”

I’m a guy who’s dreamt of drawing for a living ever since I was a child, so naturally, Butch Hartman has been a huge inspiration for me. Just the coolest, nicest guy in the business. I really felt a connection with Timmy Turner, as I have a big imagination (and less-than-perfect teeth). I love the banter between both of the hosts, and can’t wait for each week’s episode.

I went to watch toy story 3 the other day which marks about a year (give or take) of me listening to your podcast! This podcast is Totally Awesome, I love listening to you guys talk about your favorite movies and interviewing your special stars, though my favorite podcast are just with the two of you! The best part of your podcast is that you guys love what you do but you don’t get annoyingly silly as many other podcast of the same category do! I do enjoy making fan art of your podcast @thelastlightfury on instagram, should I make the next piece a collage of your explanation of speech bubble with clones of jace, a goat, microphone seeds and trapdoors etc? Also Jace needs an episode were he gets to use all the weapons against butch for once! And one other thing. Yes! You do heat lobster! P.s. My favorite podcast is speech bubble, though I also love the blue void and scratch the membrane!

I love listening to this podcast. After Rob Paulsen’s talkin toons ended this has made a great replacement. I think Butch needs to have a Hartman for Jace, it’s not his fault his young. As an aspiring voice over actor this is giving me lots of insight as to what to expect.

This podcast has become a new guilty pleasure, with great and unexpected guests you wouldn't typically admit your excited to hear from (e.g. voice of Pooh or the Double Dare Guy). As a PhD student and marine biologist this podcast provides a much needed escape and insight into the world of animation I nearly pursued. My career choices were between science and art (I mistakenly thought science would be more stable). I'm hoping I can eventually contribute to science education in a meaningful way through my artwork. Do you think there's room for a animated series out there that draws from science? Not just by location (i.e. Spongebob), but subject matter that doesn't have to be an animated classroom (i.e. Magic School Bus). Maybe about the epicly charismatic albatross I study and plastic pollution. All the best, John.

I randomly stumbled on you talking about Doogal on this podcast (I’m sorry for that travesty) but man I found my new favorite podcast. I’ve been binge listening to every episode from the beginning since I’ve found it. I do want to know what both you think about the best animated movie of all time Surfs Up. I love FOP and DP. My favorite joke is South Dakota and North Dakota joined to make the 50 states into the 49 states of America.

I began listening a year ago while building my voice over booth & starting voice acting. I was looking for a podcast that would keep me motivated and encouraged. Its been fun learning that Butch was behind the scenes of my childhood (Dexter/JohnnyBravo) I loved those short toons too like Fish and Chip! Jace, is doing great with the FX and keeping Butch on topic :) I love the improv & tangents though, favorite podcast hands down!

I remember before Netflix and DVRs my sister and I would rewatch Fairly Odd Parents episodes (especially the Jimmy Timmy Power Hour) because they were the only DVDs we had. Listening to this podcast gives me so much nostalgia and hearing Butch and Jace talk about animation and Nickelodeon brings me back to the good times.
