I’m new to this podcast

More like virtue signaling. No thanks

Seems like the only purpose of this podcast is for the hosts (esp Liz) to talk about how great and smart and morally superior they and their kids are. The topics are basic and yet they manage to make everything political. Typical coastal elites

I love the podcast and I am grateful for all the knowledge and experiences you and your guests share. I enjoy listening to everyone of your episodes. But I really miss the time when both of you were together in most of the episodes. I liked the chemistry between you two and how enriching the discussions were. I hope you come back to that format. Love you both!

I feel sad to write a bad review but wanted to possibly help others. I really wanted to like Spawned and tried for awhile! While this podcast does have a few nuggets of good information here and there, overall it’s very simple minded. I love to listen to parenting podcasts and podcasts in general that expand my mind and add to the human consciousness in some form. This simply does not do that. Very surface level and I feel like I’m watching main stream media news when I listen. They never seem to approach any topic from all angles.

I love listening to this podcast and look forward to any and all new episodes. This is in my weekly rotation. I appreciate the guests they have on, the subjects they cover, the personal experiences they share. This is a great podcast that is informative and entertaining.

So many great nuggets in this conversation on resilience and how to foster it in kiddos!

When my best friend first recommended this podcast as I was expecting my first child, I thought oh geez, not more hip moms telling me things I need to add to my registry. My assumptions could not have been more wrong. With every episode, I hear from experts who help me navigate everything from helping model kindness in toddlers, navigating sibling rivalry, and developing my children’s and my own understanding of equity. I love this podcast and even though I’ve been raising my second child during the pandemic, this podcast makes it not feel like I am am isolated along the way. Thank you!!!

I am so interested to hear more about the interviewees lives and books, but oftentimes the podcast hosts talk more than the experts they interview.

Parenting is messy and hard and I feel like this podcast honors that but still helps you focus on the joy of connecting and showing up in authentic ways!

I love the variety of topics that are covered on this wonderful and insightful podcast.

May be ok for some parents but not for me. Listened to two episodes and very liberal views on parenting. If that’s for you, 5 star. If not for you, 1 star.

Kristen and Liz cover a range of topics with wit, humor, social awareness, and most importantly, authenticity. I especially appreciate the inclusivity of their show (unlike so many parenting podcasts, Kristen and Liz recognize that not everyone has a partner; not everyone is straight, and not everyone has loads of disposable income). The best podcast for thinking parents! With great, concise editing and few (and brief) sponsor reads, each episode is full of good ideas, funny (but not annoying) commentary, thoughtful & intelligent guests and diverse subjects.

It's great to find a parenting podcast where the parents have older kids! It's tough to find shows with parents of tweens. Just one annoyance: don't call yourself a single mom when your partner is away for the week. It makes light of what single parents have to do 365 days a year.

I love to listen to podcasts, but I am SO picky! I rarely find one I want to binge for days on end. I started it about a week ago and I’m on episode 35. I usually like true crime ones. Then I started having nightmares and I thought maybe I should find something a little less murder-y for bedtime. So many of the mom and parenting podcasts are either cliche, annoying, judgey, or just boring. But I was HOOKED on Spawned in the first episode. It’s seriously like chatting with your girlfriends. I always laugh. I’ve gotten tons of good advice. They’ve made me see things from a different perspective. Their topics are completely relevant and relatable to my life. Listen. Do it now. You won’t regret it!

There’s rarely an episode of Spawned that I don’t think, “wow. I’m so glad I listened today.” It’s like having your friends along with you on car rides... you laugh with them, you agree with them... I find myself responding back often. Thanks for the friendly and smart thoughts, chats, and advice, Kristen and Liz.

I’ll preface by saying this is a good review. I have a two year old and I just found this show about a week ago. I’m seriously addicted. I’ve already bought 3 books that they’ve suggested and have a wish list of 4 more so far. My wallet is not happy but hopefully with all the advice I will be a happier parent and my daughter will grow up to be a happy child. Thank you guys. I love spawned.

Kristen and Liz bring the funny and raw side of parenting in this podcast. It's refreshing to hear their perspectives because it's relatable AF. Plus, they share their best pics at the end of each episode which I really look forward to. This is one of my favorite parenting podcasts.

I am in love with this podcast and I'm a huge parenting podcast junkie. Kristen and Liz are super cool, real and down to earth, Every mom can relate to them. The interviews are incredibly informative and inspiring. My husband doesn't really like to discuss parenting stuff but whenever I listen to an episode I come to him and discuss what I heard and it inspires great conversations for us. We've became closer and better parents thanks to this podcast. It inspires great values in a very real modern world.

I found this podcast after I saw they were interviewing an author I liked. I so wanted to like it, since I love the hosts' websites. I listened to four episodes, but I just could not like it. If you are interested in listening to some self-righteous moms drop some very thinly veiled humble brags about how awesome they are as parents, and how unique and awesome their kids are, then this podcast is for you. I can get that at any group of moms that assemble, so listening to a podcast of it just isn't for me. The podcasts I listened to were 1/4 about the substance of the podcast topic and 3/4 overly specific info about the two hosts' families, sort of related to the topic. If I am going to listen to a parenting podcast, I'm looking for more than just the two mom hosts' personal experience and humble brags. Tiresome.
