I recently became the social media director for our Church (as well as SS teacher and pastor-in-training), so I've been in need of intelligent discussion about how to use social media in such a way that shines the message of the Gospel through our church, and SMC has been extremely helpful for this. They talk about almost every social media channel we use (although I haven't heard any talk of Faithlife yet), and they talk about new developments well. Not sure how long Nils & Jay have been at the controls, but the webinar aspect to create the podcast is so great. It's pretty loose and still gives great content. These guys are having fun talking about what they love doing with other people that share their passion.

I SO appreciate ideas and advice from people with more experience than I do. In a smaller church there isn't anyone to ask because nobody else has done it before. This podcast fills that gap.

Jay and Nils are both hilarious and experts in their fields. This is a fun podcast to listen to and very helpful and insightful! If you are a church leader- you NEED to listen to this podcast! It’s great stuff.

These podcasts are pretty short - most are under 12 minutes. The goal seems to be to give the listener a quick introduction to some sort of tech issue and its importance for churches. I like it!

As a total newcomer to the "field" of church communications, this podcast has been an invaluable resource for me for ideas, tips, and general knowledge-- not just relating to social media, but regarding all technology use in churches. Utilizing social media is a hot topic right now. DJ does a great job of finding those who are doing it successfully and giving them the opportunity to share their knowledge.

DJ does a great job at opening up the conversation on church and social media. The fact that he comes to the table not as a "know it all" but having discussions with others and facilitating a learning community in the area of social media and how we use it to aid us in sharing the Gospel with the world around us.

I have listened to every episode and I have heard some great ideas. The podcast covers so many different social media topics. There is something for every size and style of ministry.

After discovering DJ Chuang and his podcast in January 2013, I have listened to nearly every episode he’s broadcasted to date. DJ provides a unique opportunity to listen in on great conversations with church leaders who are fully engaged in figuring out how to best build community and share the Gospel in this Digital Age.

I've learned a TON from all the great interviews that DJ Chuang arranged!!! Just hearing from other Online ministers how they do it always gives me tips from their best practices!!!

Big churches have been doing it for a while but now it's time for every neighborhood church to get on board. Of course the question which comes to mind is, "How?" That question comes immediately followed by, "Which one?" D.J. Chuang is getting Social Media experts from within other churches together to help us all know what helps them and what can help others. The conversations make you feel like your sitting in the living room discussing what happening in the church abroad. The more we talk the more get saved. Why not use social media?
