Sneak Attack is a fantastic D&D podcast, hands down. Reid (the DM) does a wonderful job keeping both the story and it’s characters feeling fresh, and the players each bring their own brand of humor that often leaves me laughing and smiling along with them. If you enjoy dry wit and having a good time with friends, then I would highly recommend this podcast. Now, to just touch briefly on the subject, yes - the second season has not been completed as of yet and it looks as if it will stay that way for the foreseeable future. I personally think the cast have done MORE than enough in bringing us over 195+ hours of quality content in the first season alone, so don’t let an unfinished second season put you off from enjoying the fabulous first… I promise you won’t regret it! - Colin

I have only just started listening and it is hilarious. This is the greatest podcast I have ever listened to. Not to mention it’s clean, and those are pretty hard to come across. Reid is a great DM and tells a great story, a must listen to podcast with an amazing AND nice AND awesome role player cast. Overall I believe that you should listen to this podcast if you enjoy role-playing games. I’ve not listened to any other podcasts as good as this one so I’m re-listening to it for the tenth time 🤣! Edit: it PAINS me to do this but I have to put 4 stars because the quarantine content isn’t just the same as the regular episodes. I miss the players goofing off and having fun playing DND, and I miss the storyline! I wish you could go back to the regular episodes. Some of the other DND podcasts I’ve been listening to are continuing to make new episodes even though COVID has come. Edit 2: PLEASE COME BACK!! I wish there was new content, even I remember when I couldn’t wait for the next episode after a cliffhanger, and I want to have that feeling again! It’s been so long since you’ve uploaded a new episode and the Covid restrictions are pretty much gone. Please come back 😭😭

Sneak attack is so much fun to listen to and they are easily the highlight of my day I was so sad when they called it quits I really hope you guys start again. I’ve also struggled so much with running away and suicide but this podcast has shown me that no matter how depressed or horrible your feeling friends will always be here for you and this podcast is here for me to still listen too. Y’all are the funniest people ever (after the Titans Of All’Terra of course) S2 was less enjoyable though...... Space didn’t fit well with the whole theme of Sneak Attack I don’t think. But S1 Was amazing👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 love y’all. Also have to applaud Thd character episodes and Josh’s stories. Sneak attack is one of my favorite podcasts in existence. It makes me incredibly disappointed that it will be brought down soon. However there is a way to keep it going. If all the episodes were uploaded to anchor.fm they could keep it going and still make money off of it. Just a suggestion, I hope the cast is doing well!

First I just want to say how grateful I am for you guys making this podcast, it helped get me into the D&D community, show me great storytelling and role play. This podcast is one of the few clean ones out there and one of the best. The story, creativity, and role play add to this amazing game. On top of all that the players are funny which makes you want to listen even more. Deserves more than 5 stars.

The show is over, and it makes me cry to think about not being able to listen anymore once they take it down eventually 😅 I've gone through the show I think 4 times and probably will 4 more before they take it down. This might sound weird but it's sort of helped me through a lot and helped to shape me as a person, especially with my sense of humor and just the way I carry a conversation, to the extent that my friends and family who don't listen to the show quote it in everyday conversation because I quote it so much 😂 I can't put into words how much I love sneak attack, and after 3 or so years of listening and 5+ sketchbooks of fanart I felt like it was time to write a review 😂 thank you sneak attack ❤️

A live action podcast that can be better described as cooperative story telling. The players frequently derail the DM’s plans but his world building is so good he seamlessly stitches ideas together. His willingness to use the players ideas and back stories enriches the world and the players willingness to participate in narrative D and D enriches our experience. I’m going to miss it.

I listened to this volume 1 and 2 the whole way through. Loads of fun, and quite enjoyable when taken as a whole. Powerful ending! Thank you for the commitment to the fans of the show, even through the hard times. Gotta love Detective Sherwood, and Lucky comes out on top as one of my absolute favorite characters. As far as being a clean podcast goes, this show does a fine job, with much more content and good fun than less obviously ugly jokes, at least to younger listeners. Would recommend, and I would hope the gang could get together again in some fashion for more play sometime!

My favorite podcast of all time. Amazing world, stories, moments and characters. You feel connected to the characters in the story and the players of those characters. I cried during the Sherwoods song part and also cried for 20 minutes at the announcement of it ending. RIP Sneak Attack, I will always love you.

This show has been a blast to listen to. The group keeps it family friendly and are hilarious. Reid created two interesting worlds that are interesting to explore along with the players.

Reid has done an amazing job of crafting one of the most interesting worlds and storylines I’ve encountered. Reoccurring NPCs and throwbacks to side plots everyone sort of forgot about keep the plot constantly twisting. The sound effects from Battlebards fit in great and you can tell great care has been put into sound and editing. They get 3 stars in my book because SO MUCH time is spent just listening to Kelsey and Josh bicker. They’re constantly arguing- sometimes about meaningful plot points- but more often than not it’s over pretty insignificant stuff. Brenna puts Greaek down all the time and super mean to him. She’s convinced she’s the only one who can ever be right about something and instead of interacting with the other characters to come to conclusions or compromises she’s loud and pushy until she gets her way. I’m only around episode 60 so I know there’s a lot of places Brenna could develop as a character, but I decided to write my first ever podcast review simply because I’m so frustrated that such a good story and puzzle in the temple near Antwood is being ruined by such a nasty attitude.

I’ve listened to all of Volume 1 about 10 times (not exaggerating) and Volume 2 3 times. I’ve been through rough breakups but this one feels the worst. Please come back one day if you guys find yourselves ready to commit again.

My dad used to play adnd way back when and kept trying to get us into it. Dnd never really got us excited till he found y’all’s podcast. We from about ep 30 of y’all’s podcast to now played dnd, many characters many high levels and even a few different editions started because of y’all I even based some character traits off of how Danny and Mike acted. Thank you guys for the best podcast ever, emotion rollercoaster, from deaths to a song to an amazing finale, volume 2 was good as well. I never was upset with how it turned out. Probably gonna relisten to it. Love y’all, hopefully one day ill meet you guys idk.
