Love this podcast and miss it so much.

I like the podcasts and the information and advice given. I have to fast forward through 7-10 minutes of introduction, random conversations and sarcasm. Michael also interrupts Amy a lot and sometimes gives me anxiety. The title of one podcast was great pursuing value and there were several times where Michael devalued Amy. I’ll keep listening in hopes it was just a season of intensity and sarcasm.

Thank you for addressing this issued, however we couldn’t hear Amy’s comments very well. Maybe she needs a mic? Also if you are having a slow day with little questions, you might have some material prepared so we aren’t wasting time listening to your back and forth conversation, comments about your equipment, and/or checking in on others social media sites 👎 We tried listening because we need encouragement and help in marriage.

I really love how real and honest they are, and how excited they are to answer questions and offer help, this is a very helpful podcast, i love it!

Need to listen for awhile but the points are great. Michael & Amy Smalley are funny, enjoyable and immensely helpful - even if he wanders some in his discussions.

I have been listening for about a month now. I listen while I get my run in. I find these podcasts to have such good practical information. They are a good blend of humor and seriousness. This podcast is great. He’s down to earth and comical but not afraid be vulnerable and dive into the real issues of life and marriage. It’s been a source of encouragement and hope to me in my journey. Thanks Michael!

I had been a loyal listener for a couple of years. That was until the irregular schedule from South Africa and now the new daily format with Mr and Mrs S. The show has developed a chit-chatty element. I tried jumping past but missed content and eventually just deleted the shows. One show had about 8 mins in a 20 min show of the banter, right at the start.

I SO appreciate this podcast ministry and the plain spoken way that it is brought. I’m also thankful for you not being afraid of tackling those hard/taboo subjects that so many of us have questions, but not the courage to ask, because we were brought up to think that sex (even with our spouse) is your “wifely duty” &/or dirty and not to be talked about! I also really enjoyed your 28 days with 28 Statements from Jesus!

‘Sayings of Jesus’ I think #23 ... where it was mentioned that Counciling’s biggest focus should be on making disciples during counciling and putting each individual focus on Jesus will naturally lead both together at the feet of Jesus. Makes all kinds of sense for Christian counciling to do this.

This review is a little biased, because I’m Michael’s mom. But I’m proud of how he has carried on his dad’s legacy and the great advice he gives!

How’s this under kids and family when the topic description is referring to oral sex and sec toys! How’d this even come up as a suggestion for me...my kids have access to my phone why would I want them to see this content...remove please

Not only is this podcast super practical and honest. It is also funny!

Every once in a while the guys get off track but it's always entertaining. And I love the down to earth responses and honesty. They always bring it back to the word.

I have an 1 1/2 hour commute from Spring to Bryan/College Station so I have been binge listening and have been very uplifted for the past few days. Your show has been refreshing and entertaining, and I'm looking forward to seeing the positive growth in my marriage and parenthood.

What a way to talk about some tough subjects with love and humor! Total talent! Such aweosme advice, insights, wisdom yet practical. So blessed by this podcast and often convicted.

Michael; I just listened to the podcast on Abusive Relationships. I found it very interesting that you feel that emotional abuse is usually worse than physical stating that physical wounds can heal easier than emotional. I would think that there is a lot of emotional abuse to deal with and along with the physical abuse as the memory will be there forever just like in emotional abuse. I just don't see how emotional abuse can be any worse after someone has been threatened with acts of violence that are close to death? I, fortunately, am not in either of these situations but was listening to this Podcast knowing of a couple in a physical & emotionally abusive marriage. I have conversations from time to time with the wife's Mother and we discuss her daughter's situation. I get so upset knowing how long this young woman has put up with this situation and yet does nothing... feeling fearfully trapped, hoping for miraculous change with unreal expectations for this change without professional help, inappropriate allegiance to her husband, and/or lack of money to get professional help. All observations on my part. Thanks.
