I was a fan for years, but could not listen to that any longer.

CinemaSins is always entertaining and the Recotopia podcast is no different. Funny, interesting, and I almost always end the show with a new movie or tv show I have to check out based on their recommendations.

Love the whole cinemasins universe and this new(er) format. I hope my review starts showing up first because Jeremy and Chris are amazing, and I don’t know what “politics” others are referencing in reviews at all. I’ve enjoyed every second of Recotopia and look forward to many more!

Probably the best movie podcast I've heard. The whole "best movies since we've been alive" thing is unbelievably entertaining. The theater stories are great. I don't always agree with the consensus, but I'm not interested in an echo chamber. Edit: my favorite part of the show, Barrett Share, is now gone. Don’t know if I can hack it without the voice of reason. Beyond sad. Decided to give it another shot. Instant regret. Terrible podcast now. These two knuckleheads have the charisma of salt and pepper shakers. I’m done.

Loved the podcast hate that we lost one. I don’t know if I’ll keep listening. Especially how political they’ve been. Come here to escape, but they keep on commenting on stuff, I bet, they barely know anything about.

I used to enjoy the show, but lately half the show is them reveling in how morally superior they are to anyone who would dare to have differing political opinions to them. When they stick to movies, the podcast is tolerable, but they are sinking more and more into woke leftist ideology…

Stumbled across cinemasins on you tube one Saturday morning and 5-6 hrs later I realized I was watching them for 5-6 hours. Then I find out about the podcast! Definitely makes my hour plus commute bearable. The goofs movie triva is awesome. I got pulp fiction and true lies and I’m like I am amazing at this game then proceeded to not get any of the rest, so, I’m not amazing at it lol. Excellent show guys!

I enjoy the CinemaSins Youtube channel, but I listened to the podcast episode where they review Black Widow and found myself thinking like 4 or 5 times that they didn’t actually watch the movie... Multiple points were inaccurate about what actually happened in the movie. They either didn’t watch it all or weren’t paying close enough attention to be able to review it.

What used to be merely annoying has lately become insufferable. Want to listen to three wokester dopes with horrible taste in movies from Nashville compete for the title of “Most Forced Laughter in a Movie Podcast”? Want to listen to one guy clear his throat in the middle of every sentence for 2+ hours? Want to be hectored about your political views by people who are clearly out of their depth on any topic other than movies? Great, then you’ll love this! And supposedly there’s even more of this wonderful content behind a Patreon paywall, so if you’re a total masochist you can even pay money for it! I used to like this more before the wokeness started infiltrating every single discussion (and I’m not even a conservative person), but I still give it 2 stars based on the fact that when they stick to movies, the podcast is tolerable and sometimes very funny. But lately I cannot find enough merit to outweigh all the annoyances. Removed it from my device. Stay in your lane, fellas.

The dynamic between the SinCast propels their show, more so than any topic they choose to discuss... Great topics certainly don't hurt though!

Jeremy, Chris and Barrett know their stuff! They go DEEP into classic movies and new releases and have killer interviews and guest! They connect films in unique ways and have a ball doing it! I’m in.

The title of this episode should be called: “do better things only if practical.” The beginning of the show was really sad and depressing as the hosts complained about rando’s on Twitter demanding more out of politics. If anything they should be mad at politicians for lowering the bar of our expectations. “Only do better things if it’s practical?!?” Give me a break. So many examples in history where the right thing to do was not “practical” or “the good first step” but people fought for it because it was right and necessary (civil rights, labor laws, women’s suffrage, etc..). Personally, it bothered me how dismissive Jeremy was to the demand of lowering carbon emissions because it was “impractical.” My dude, this is again one of those things that yes it is difficult but necessary for the survival of the species. Might as well fight for it. ”Power concedes nothing without a demand.” Those annoying Twitter rando’s demanding a better world.. your ire should be aimed at those with the power not people demanding more (yes I know at the end of the day Twitter noise is just that... noise but I am also referring to activists and organizers out there actually trying to demand more). Normally I really like the sin cast but your political takes are pretty mid.

These guys are the best. They are very funny guys, Jeremy being my favorite, every time I tune in I am most definitely going to laugh. You guys are the best! Keep being you!

Sins was always funny when they started now they got to the point where they do little but preach how stupid half their audience is. They start their podcast by going political and trying to shame the people on the other side of the the political divide. What the hell does your politics have to do with movies? Nothing. Sorry but I like many others are out.

You guys bring it every week with the comedy and the facts and the truly honest reviews and commentary not just in movies but also with what’s going on occasionally. Always a fantastic listen, keep it up and thank you for the awesome entertainment!

Great podcast. I kind of lost interest in the videos a while ago but I've been listening to the pod almost since it started and I look forward to every episode. I don't love the episodes with Jonathan, he's just annoying and he never shuts up, but other than that it's always a great listen. I love hearing them talk about movies that you don't hear much about and I almost always come away with new stuff to check out.

In truth I set most of my week by anything related to CinemaSins. I think the group is wildly entertaining and very humorous. As someone who struggles with bouts of depression and anxiety it's good medicine* (*Proverbs 17:22) to be able to laugh (and laugh out loud). Their knowledge and appreciation of film is outstanding. Not to take away from anyone else, but I always enjoy what Chris and Jonathan have to say ( you other guys and gal are great; don't @ me) ;)

My wife and I started listening well she did on our recent vacation to Florida. I had been listening and now she won’t let me listen without her. Love you guys and this podcast.

You guys share a lot of my takes about film, and the pod as a whole is a great day-filler. The amount of film knowledge you 3 possess is crazy and nearly unrivaled. Took me a while to finally catch up, but I did and your current movie reviews are fantastic. The one thing is your pop culture knowledge outside movies is understandably thin, and every time y’all talk about music it’s cringey, but besides that you guys are a joy to listen to. Just bc I just listened to the Hustlers review podcast, wanted to lyk that Cardi B was a stripper for a long time, including the time this movie was set, which is why they felt the need to cast her (same w Lizzo) along w a huge box office. Anyways keep up the good work, love the sins YouTube channel too, but watch more bad movies!! Ik it’s hard to sit thru but that’s the best content by far!!!

Utterly amazing! This is a must listen to podcast for anyone who has ever had a passion for movies. The crew is so funny, and while you’ll hear about a lot of movies you haven’t seen yet, nothing beats hearing them discuss your favorites or good movies you thought you had forgotten years ago. Plus you get so many recommendations for things right up your alley. I listen to about 20+ hours of podcasts while at the office each week, and this is the only podcast I’m willing to listen to when I get home. I love movies, but somehow listening to these three guys (and sometimes guests) talk through a good movie is somehow almost as good as the movie itself. Thank you for every week of content Cinema Sins! And for hours of cleaning and dishwashing that were made a whole lot easier!

Sincast has been a must listen every week for the past two years! All three have unique personalities and takes on all sorts of different film and I sometimes learn about film gems in the process (Children of Men). For anyone wanting to hear thoughts and opinions on movies and be entertained, this is the podcast for you!

The YouTube channel is so fun and I find this podcast funner. Chris, Jeremy, and Barrett are terrific to listen to and deserve a lot of credit for having such a fantastic way to present their passion for movies, TV, music. Their movie theater stories are so entertaining that I’m willing to bet that I’ve listened to them more often than anything in my podcast app. Keep up the great work guys!

I like this! Lots of different kinds of podcasts. Some simple review or opinion, some different looks at movies. I'm going back and listening to the old podcasta discussing the favorite movies from previous years. Fun!

I only like 3 Podcasts associated with Movies & Movie Reviews; SinCast, the Lights Camera Barstool guys, & The Weekly Planet ... but, SinCast is the only one I highly recommend to everyone I know; because, unlike the others SinCast is one I don't need to consider who I'm recommending it to, as am highly confident that everyone will love the show you guys produce... even people that aren't the biggest fans of CinemaSins should give this Pod a go as these guys are amazing and a constant wealth of Cinematic knowledge! You might not always agree with them but you will always laugh with them. Found the podcast before the YouTube channel. Great banter and make you feel like the fourth person in the room.

I’m not even that into movies but these guys are so enjoyable to listen to that I think they could be discussing fruit seeds and I’d still listen. TLDR podcast great!

If you were to just watch their YouTube channel you might get the impression that these guys just rip on all movies. This podcast proves they are true film buffs at heart. If you are downloading for the first time it is worth downloading their archive and listening to old episodes.

I look forward to it every week! Makes my Monday’s a little more tolerable for 2 hours!
